We decided that we wanted to go snorkeling while in Hawaii but do it on our own time and not have to buy equipment that we may not use again. I checked the reviews and Snorkel Bob's of Oahu came up as the top choice so we made a reservation to rent some snorkeling gear. We showed up at our appointment time and was promptly greeted by a lady who knows anything and everything snorkeling. She was able to get my wife and daughter prescription snorkeling masks. I didn't even know there was such a thing!!! She also set us up with everything else we needed and showed us how everything worked. She was a pleasure to work with and funny! The customer service was impeccable and we truly felt valued as customers. The rental price for a weekly rental is very inexpensive and you can do a daily rental if you like. I highly recommend Snorkel Bob's of Oahu and will be back in the future.

Whenever we visit the islands, we always come to Snorkel Bob's! They always have plenty of quality snorkel gear, sun chairs, and boogie boards. Renting the snorkel gear is so much easier than lugging them in your suitcase or using poor quality equipment. We came here to rent some snorkel gear, it was conveniently located to our hotel. We just walked in, the friendly gal, didn't get her name, fitted our masks and flippers. Fitting took a few minutes and we were on our way for some fun in the sun!

Snorkel Bob outfitted and supplied us with spear-fishing gear when our equipment was to arrive late due to airline issues. We booked a charter to Kaho'lawe on a volunteer mission to remove military munitions and debris from the island. We were able to decompress at night by working the reef, supplying fresh catch for our party. Thank you Bob for supplying us with bathymetric maps of the underwater topography of Kaho'lawe.

They're both hilarious and very knowledgeable! ------------------------------- As a travel agent, I like to recommend yours or experienced that I myself have tried. While 'Im not much of a tour bus enthusiast, to ensure that my clients end up with a good one-- I decided to try Nui Tours. Unfulfilled promises by Jack (the owner): small group, Mercedes Van, all of the stops, snorkeling at a specific beach, we did not want to stop at certain places and were told we could customize, souvenir hats, 2 bottles of champagne, unlimited juices/snacks/drinks, and the discounted price per person. What we got: the bus was 30 minutes late, no one answers the phone number, HUGE OLD TOUR BUS (58 people), we did not get to choose our stops or how long we stopped somewhere, they had water bottles and Pringles (no juice/no champagne/no other snacks that were promised), and on top of several other things-- they charged us full price. WE ARE STILL AWAITING A REFUND of the amount that was overcharged. Jack has lied to us, taken zero accountability, and still refuses to answer the phone. I can't help to think that half of his warrants are for fraud at this point. There is no clear communication and several tour companies show up at the same location, so if you got suckered into these tours-- please verify with each driver to see if your name is on their list. Please choose a different touring company to support. If you have a car rented and need help planning your endeavors, feel free to reach out. Good luck out there!

Multiple guests were getting seasick, as the Captain tried his best to navigate the waters. One guest nearly fainted and after that, the atmosphere on the boat changed. The Captain wasn't talking much and it seemed as if he just wanted to get back to the dock. Knowing the weather conditions, I wish the tour was rescheduled. We saw some fish and barely saw a turtle. I know the tour doesn't guarantee seeing wildlife, but it was disappointing hardly seeing anything in the glass bottom. To add, the glass bottom is just 4 boxes that you have to peek over to see. I didn't get seasick, so it was still nice to be out on the water and enjoying the views of the ocean. Prior to the incident, the captain was very educational and funny. Overall, had the tour been on a different day with more permitting weather, I think it would've been great.

Once we got out on the water, the experience was unforgettable. We swam with colorful fish and sea turtles, saw dolphins, and even got to see false killer whales. It was truly a great day out at sea. The crew was exceptional: Capt. Dani, Ben, Faavae, Kania, Roxanne, Kirra, Bernard, and Keely all made the trip special. Keely deserves a special shout-out! The crew provided educational facts, acted as lifeguards, served food and drinks, and even danced, making the whole experience fun, safe, and memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an incredible ocean adventure in Hawai'i. Great service, beautiful wildlife, and an outstanding crew!

But despite being called a "Dolphin and You" tour, there is only dolphin WATCHING from the boat -- no swimming with dolphins. They also only stop at one snorkel spot in shallow waters.m whereas most companies have you snorkel at 2. Maybe if I had never been on another tour, I would have thought this was good, but I'd only recommend this for people who want to mainly watch things from the boat and not snorkel. I honestly saw more marine life where I live in OC. On a previous tour with a different company, I swam in waters where dolphins were swimming all around and underneath me -- it was a core memory, and I was hoping to recreate that experience. They also don't let you swim very far from the boat, which made the experience feel overly restrictive. Because the website is not clear I will lay down the iternary: 6:00am pick-up from hotel (about 1.5 hrs to get there) Restroom stop at Fareharbor 1 hr dolphin watching--basically your just on a boat 1 hr snorkel--will see sparse fish 1 hr return--will give you sandwich and water cups no water bottles, temporary tattoo offered Return to hotel: another 1.5 hrs to drop everyone off etc Kind of waste of money $180+ and my precious vacation time. Also, be wary of the reviews. They offer incentives for leaving one. Sorry, but as a Yelp Elite, my honest opinion can't be bought.
