To be honest, the extent of my love for Thai style rolled ice cream usually ends at the production and presentation of it. I always love the cute add-ins and the display of the desserts, but I'm more times than not, underwhelmed by the flavor of the ice cream itself. Well, Sno Dash changed all that, I enjoyed both! The manager was extremely rude. When I asked to double check about Oreos in the rolled ice cream, she started to be rude and when I finally said Is there an issue she said it was the first interaction so she had no clue why I'd call her out. But she was rude when they messed my order up the first time(added whipped cream) and she's like well did you tell her you didn't want it? I of course did because I can't stand whipped cream. The other girl wasn't great either. I asked her opinion between the 2 and she wouldn't answer and acted like I was an annoyance. When I asked again she gave me some snide response. This was such a fun spot! We walked in, and a couple was actually dancing in the middle of the shop. Kinda random, but I guess that's one way to spend a Saturday night! I loved that you could choose one of their rolled ice cream combinations, or build your own. We built our own, where you can pick a base flavor (we picked cream), a mix-in (we picked nutella) and two toppings (twix & marshmallows). It said you could do a different combo of mix-ins and toppings, so in the future, I'd probably asked for all the toppings as mix-ins... cuz then they get grounded up and mixed into the ice cream... which was better than half a twix bar just sitting on top of the ice cream. That said, the combo of the cream with the Nutella was DELICIOUS and I'd recommend that to any chocolate lovers. And another tip, if you are sharing the ice cream with another person who happens to have a cold, they will split your ice cream into two cups. Nice! What I like about Sno Dash is they hit all three important aspects of a food: it's visually appealing, the texture is unique because of the spiral structure and it tastes awesome! This was my first rolled ice cream experience so I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! This is a cute little shop with friendly staff and reasonable prices. The price of one cup which comes with 5 rolls of ice cream and whatever topping comes with it(if you are selecting a pre designed flavor) is around $6 and change which wasn't too horrible, I was actually anticipating it to cost more. Browsing the menu, most flavors have cream which I assume is vanilla, but you can sub in the for another flavor if you'd like (I subbed in chocolate for my s'mores). I thought the ice cream had good flavor, my tip would be to let it melt a little bit before eating so it is softer and easier to eat with a plastic spoon. You can watch the staff roll the ice cream which is really cool, but it does seem a little time consuming for them to fill one order. It might take a little while depending on how many people are working and how busy the shop is.. let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if it took you 10+ min to get your ice cream on a busy day. I still think this place is worth checking out, especially if you never have had rolled ice cream. read more

My first experience with rolled ice cream and it did not disappoint. I love the whole concept. It's fun to watch and it tastes so fresh and creamy! They pour out this cup of sweet cream, mix it in with whatever dreamy delights you want mixed in, spread it out on a freezing plate thingy, and roll it up all pretty for you in a giant cup. I have been here several times and always order the vanilla with Biscoff mixed in. I have tasted the cotton candy and it's also divine, just not my absolute favorite. For any of you out there complaining that it's too cold, wait a minute and hold your horses, for goodness sake! It's ICE cream. It warms up! It's frozen! It will melt! If you are patient, you will be able to cut it with your spoon and as is the case with all ice cream -and for that matter- all things frozen, you might get brain freeze if you eat it too quickly. Place was ok. Presentation could have been better. Kinda wish they had more seating and more interesting things on the walls. Seems like a place that people like to go to on a Sunday evening. I've been to this location twice. As recommended by a friend, I went with the Raffaello rolled ice cream. OH.MYYYYYY. One of the best desserts I've ever eaten. Period. Rolled vanilla ice cream with coconut Raffaellos, coconut, and slivered almonds. It took me to another world. I have to admit, I was very interested to try out Sno Dash. This rolled ice cream concept is one I had heard about but really wanted to see how it tasted as compared to other options out there. Sno Dash is not a huge place has maybe 6 tables and does make great use of space. The parking lot is plenty big for the business and the line seems to move relatively fast. The concept works on the principle of blast freezing. Ice cream liquid ingredients are poured onto a stone at a very cold temperature. Some mixes are added to the liquid to give it the mix-in texture and then as it thins out it freezes. Then they press it out thin again and cut and roll it into the rolls that become the signature texture and shape. I have had ice cream at a lot of places and I have to confess this is not my favorite. It's not bad at all, but it seems to have one major flaw, its far to cold. The flavor is good, the ice cream mixes well, but its too cold to eat right away. Literally i could not get the spoon through it and ended up getting brain freeze trying to eat it like a burrito. Its a cool concept, its got good flavor, but the temperature is just too cold. The nutella and cookies and creme concepts are where we spent our time and money. The pricing works great as well, it a flat one price for whatever you happen to order. All in all, its not my favorite but its definitely not the worst at all. I would be back if I was on that side of town and wanted some ice cream! Give it a shot, its pretty cool fun concept and the ice cream is good! read more

I have been to this location 4 times, the first was on opening day. The first day the wait was the worst, but people were willing to wait about an hour just to get their ice cream rolled! The wait can get bad but generally isn't. I love the strawberries and creme the most, so I strongly recommend that flavor to start. This store has added several new toppings and fun stuff since they first opened. This business was started by a single mother, who I have actually seen working very hard in this location. If you want to support a small or local business, you should give this place a try! read more

This place is kind of hit and miss... The first time I came here with my daughter and the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere just seemed great. This time I brought my son and I guess maybe it's "that time of day" when maybe the people behind the counter had just had enough...... either way, even though the service was not really on point, the ice cream was great! We opted for the pecan pie and it was delish!! Had any employees been at the counter, I would have asked for some whipped cream- but whatever. I'll give them another shot later and hopefully the visit will be more in line with my first trip. Although I've seen rolled ice cream many times, this was the first time I've had it. We ordered the cookies and cream and the mint chocolate chip. They were smooth, creamy and tasty. However, I'm not sure I would say it's much better than regular ice cream but it was fun watching them prepare it. The price of one cup ($6) is fairly high but you get a lot of ice cream for it. Next time I would split it. I've read other reviews complaining about the high wait time and thankfully we didn't have to wait long (~5-10min) but there were only 2 people ahead of us and two employees making ice cream.
