The job was installing LVP throughout the entire 2-story house. They had to remove tile, carpet and…read morewood flooring. They got started on time and worked fast, at first, after two weeks it was a pain to get anyone to show up. Eventually the owner started coming by to do stuff, I guess because the workers were on other jobs. The owner even had to load up all the demo materials that had sat outside for over a week by himself. I'd give the work a C- (might pass with some people and fail with other people). The reason is because I have questions about the craftsmanship. If they are cutting corners on the stuff I notice as an untrained person, then what else is not done right? For example, after installing the LVP there is an obvious space with the floor was not level (the floor was bouncy). I would expect to uninstall, then level the floor, then reinstall the LVP. Instead, they drilled holes in several places throughout the house into the LVP, then injected glue into the hole, to glue LVP to the floor. Now, instead of being bouncy, it feels like rocks are under the LVP. Ex. 2: the baseboards are not flush, and where they are joined looks like a toddler glued it together. I told them that the baseboards should be joined and look seamless instead of fixing all the seams. He fixed the two worst ones and left all the rest of the seams throughout the house. So now two baseboards look good all the rest look like crap. The owner said everything will settle in a year and not have all these issues. I'll come back in 2027 with an update. We went through Empire Today, they were no help. I told them to send someone out to fix everything, they sent the same guy that messed everything up. If you have to go with Empire because of money issues, i get it, that's why we went with them .... You get what you pay for, I'm sure it's worth it for a lot of people. I don't know if we could have done anything different, maybe try to catch problems when they happen, cause once it's done, they are not changing it.

Every cut, every grout line, every transition is executed with real precision and pride. This is craftsmanship in the truest sense. Communication throughout the project was clear, responsive, and professional. We always knew what to expect and when. Their workspace was kept remarkably clean, which anyone who's lived through a renovation knows is rare and deeply appreciated. Most impressive was the thoroughness of the finished product. Nothing was left halfway or "good enough." Every corner, every edge, every detail was completed to a standard that made it clear this team genuinely cares about the work they put their name on. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I hired Super Handy Bros because they quoted a fair price and assured me they had all the tools…read moreneeded to complete the job professionally. Unfortunately, the experience was one of the worst I've had with a contractor. The first technician's workmanship was completely unacceptable. The pocket door privacy lock was not installed flush with the door, and the latch would not engage unless you pushed and wiggled the door back and forth to line it up. This is an expensive pocket door, and the installation looked amateurish. To make matters worse, the edge pull hook that was included with my lock kit disappeared during the installation. I personally unpacked the kit before the technician arrived and handled every component myself, so I know it was there. The technician insisted it was never included, then suggested he could come back the next day with another hook--but expected me to pay for both the replacement part and the installation. That is completely unacceptable. He also left the work area a mess. I happened to have another contractor at my home working on an unrelated project, and that contractor ended up cleaning up after the Super Handy Bros technician. I immediately contacted management, explained how poor the workmanship was, and specifically requested that the original technician never return to my home. Management agreed and scheduled a different technician. However, when the follow-up appointment arrived, the original technician showed up again simply to hand the job over to the new technician. After specifically requesting that he not return, seeing him back at my home was frustrating and unprofessional. The second technician was polite and clearly more experienced. However, communication was extremely difficult because he spoke very little English. Even simple questions about the installation were difficult to discuss, making it nearly impossible to understand what was being done or to ask questions during the repair. After he finished, I inspected the work. While it was an improvement over the first installation, it was still not what I would consider professional quality. Rather than properly correcting the installation, he used caulk to cover gaps and defects left by the original technician. The finished product still looked patched together instead of properly installed. I informed the manager that the work remained subpar and that I would not be paying for the installation. I also told him that I may require the company to replace and properly install a new pocket door if the damage caused by the poor workmanship cannot be corrected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Super Handy Bros. Between the poor workmanship, the missing part, the lack of cleanup, the communication issues, and the company's handling of the situation, I have completely lost confidence in their ability to perform even basic home repairs. At this point, I would not trust this company to install something as simple as a wireless, battery-powered doorbell.

I would definitely use them again.
