I highly recommend Floor Store and Design-Point Loma. I researched and shopped 7-8 flooring…read morestores before asking my long-time interior designer for recommendations. I should have asked her first, however I did have the advantage of finding and bringing home 25+ flooring samples before visiting Floor Store and Design-Point Loma. Then my designer and I met and chose the best flooring for my home.... It was not from Floor Store and Design. However Josh said he could get it for me... and he could get it at a better price. He did just that. He even delivered a sample to my home so we could compare to the sample I had picked up elsewhere... and Floor Store and Design price was lower! What surprised me about working with Josh and Door Store and Design? I thought Josh was a salesman.. He was much more than that. He was hands on in working out details of installation. One example: I found a baseboard I liked at another place, and Josh was able to order that for me at same price as offerings at his store. He also made a personal visit at end of work to check details before I made the final payment. I also had new doors installed, and Josh coordinated work with the door contractor for smoothest completion of floors, doors and baseboards installation. It was important to me to work with a full service floor store to ensure best results. The installation team Josh sent was professional, efficient, and did a great job! Floor installer Jonathon and team were great ... always showing up on time, cleaning as they went, and were friendly and easy to have around. Most important.. they were perfectionists in their work. I learned that Jonathon had learned the trade from his father and is now working with/training his brothers. Josh's installers obviously take great pride in their work and Josh also takes great pride in managing Floor Store and Decor-Point Loma.

When I drove by the floor store one day I thought I'd pop in on the off chance they might have something I liked. I was initially worried their pricing wouldn't be competitive but i was surprised that their pricing was reasonable and the customer service was fantastic. They sent a manager out to measure and then ordered the product promptly and installed. I selected a challenging pattern (grid) and was glad they I was working with this store because you can tell they are used to more challenging jobs and have a commitment to excellence and attention to detail. Their installer was great and all in all I am so thrilled with how the project turned out. They also stock all kinds of wood and laminate and vinyl! If you have a floor project coming up and want a more personal approach highly recommend you check them out. Also they have tons of samples that you can check out and see how they look in your space!

After going through about 5 other flooring companies who gave me high estimates, I was candid with Josh and he was extremely understanding and happy to work with me. The First Choice team was also excellent in answering all of my questions leading up to the project, as well as handling the delay we encountered with sourcing materials running up to my move in date. As for the work product, I was extremely impressed. His team was also kind enough to fix one stair that a previous installer (on already installed flooring) did not do properly - no questions asked. I'll let the before/after photos speak for themselves. Thank you Josh, Kyle, and all!

He took the time to explain the damage and what would need to be replaced. He was really patient, clear, and gave me a competitive quote that I felt good about. The removal and remediation work was done quickly and professionally. There were a few hiccups during the rebuild (as you'd expect with any renovation), but Logan was always responsive and kept me updated. Even though the project ran a little behind, he made sure things stayed on track and provided transparency. Now that it's been over a month, I can say the finished work still looks great. The quality is definitely there. Everyone on the crew was polite, professional, and skilled. Thank you!

I initially found Zenith because I had a last-minute cancellation from another flooring contractor, so i was in a quick scramble to get my floors done within my timeline, or I wouldn't have time to do them at all before moving in. Paul was willing to jump on it only 2 days later and at a very fair price. He had my color in stock, showed up on time, and delivered exactly what he said he would. It was a 2-day install; day 1 was floor grinding, color, and paint chips. Day 2 was the top coat. There were a few spots where the base coat didn't take to the concrete perfectly (not their fault, 50yr old slab), and he paused our day 2 and personally came out over the weekend to touch up those few spots before applying the top coat. Top-notch service, HIGHLY recommended. It's clear that Paul cares about his business. I've worked with many contractors over the course of my home renovation, some great, some terrible, and Paul is in the "great" category! I'll gladly refer Paul and his team to anyone who asks.

Elias and His Team Are Flooring Experts! 5 Stars!…read more I recently needed to have new solid hardwood floors installed, and after several searches, I'm so glad I found Elias and the team at All about Flooring. This was a big project for my home, so I was careful in my selection process--I contacted three major flooring companies and contractors, but I ultimately decided to go with a team that has over ten years of experience rather than taking a chance with a couple of guys in a pickup truck from Home Depot. My main priorities were quality, getting the job done right the first time, and achieving a beautiful final look. I believe you get what you pay for, and Elias and his crew delivered on all three points perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the results! What really impressed me: Professionalism & Expertise: It's clear they have decades of experience. They knew exactly what they were doing and handled everything with skill. Speed & Efficiency: This was a huge bonus--they even have a special turbo machine, which allowed them to install the solid hardwood floors much faster than I expected. The quick installation was a pleasant surprise. Quality Workmanship: The floors look absolutely stunning. The attention to detail and the final finish are top-notch. Fair Pricing: The price was reasonable and competitive, especially considering the high quality of work and materials. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my new floors. The process was smooth, fast, and the end result is beautiful. If you're looking for a reliable, experienced, and efficient flooring contractor, I highly recommend giving Elias and All about Flooring a call. Thanks again, Elias
