Man, this place fucking sucks. I went here to try to sell three different pairs of shoes, one air max pro set, and two different pairs of Retro 6's that were brand new! On each pair of shoes, they offered me 30$. Just 30!? For EACH PAIR! These guys do not care about their customers they simply just wanna make some money from you without you knowing what you're getting played. I stay out in southeast Washington DC and I made my way all the way out there in the cold, just to get lowballed worse than I ever have before. These guys will just take your shoes for the most minimum price and resell them for 20x more than what you potentially offered them. These guys are snakes, the store is trash, and the employees are never any help. If you plan on coming here to sell shoes, do not expect to leave as a happy customer. Always make sure you read reviews before you go somewhere because now I'm saying I'm not the only one who's dealt with this and more people should definitely be aware about this "local community" sneaker store, that's all bullshit. These guys are just here to Finesse the poor and sneaker ignorant people. Please do not support these crooks. Let's see where do I start with this complete joke hole in a wall of a consignment shoe store. This business simply exist and specializes in taking advantage of our beautiful and loving community. They solely prey on the innocent to gain for their personal benefits. First of all, I have been to this exact location 3 times prior looking to purchase a pair of Jordan 11 Columbia that were in the front display case of the cash register area literally right in the middle of the store. I have been to the store 4 separate times to try and purchase the shoes because I wanted to support our local sneaker community and to keep this business alive and thriving. Unfortunately this pathetic joke of a consignment store owner lost the key to the display case and couldn't open the case to get the shoes out. A span of 5-6 months I have tried to buy these shoes from the Korean or Asian owner. He literally is a joke of an owner who hires employees who have absolutely no awareness of the sneaker game. I came in today to this location with 4-5 shoes. 2-3 brand new pair of UGGs Men's Dress shoes and Boots. The Spanish kid pulls me to the little movie theatre ticket stub, McDonald's drive thru in the corner of the store and gives me literally 20-30$ price per UGG shoe that were brand new dead stock never even touched the grounds of planet Earth. I was like how did you come up with that appraisal of price. He says that's what we buy it for so we can sell and make 200-300% profit on our marked items. I was like thats really crazy considering there's 3-4 UGG outlet locations within 1 hour of your shitty store. Then he pulls out my pair of Bape X Addias ZX5000 that are literally 9.5/10 and he throws me a store credit offer of 40$. And no I'm not even joking I was so disrespected and at a loss of words. I literally laughed inside and out. This is exactly the reason why I wear vintage clothing with 5k worth of solid gold and Jade each and every single day to protect and remind myself of my self worth. The owner and store itself should understand that all I'm trying to do is support their local business first of all and yes I understand it's a business. But you as a business, do you want to support and build/create love for the community or do you want to take a dump and wipe your shit all over the walls of community. Based off of the multiple attempts and altercations with the owner and joke of a business, I have come to the conclusion. To never come to this store or any of its store, that has anything to do with the owner or this joke of an LLC or S Corp. In the end all I was trying to do was trade 1 out of 5 pair of shoes to purchase and support there business, and buy a pair of shoes for my nephew that were literally priced at 100$. One of the pair shoes I brought in were autographed Steve Francis game worn shoes with an autographed NBA live cover. But their business obviously was built and created to rob our people of the culture, rather than support Street Wear and Basketball. Yet alone a 7 year old, wanting to wear their shoes from the joke Sneaker Premier. Like such a dumb name. What kind of name is that? Ive come here quite a few times in the last 2 years (only once since covid). Ive definitely got some good deals on lightly worn kicks in my size. Jordans only. I dont think Ive purchased any other type of shoes from here. It is absolutely pointless to attempt to sell shoes to them. Definitely will low ball you so dont come in looking at stockx prices and expect to get that. As it was explained to me "the store has to get paid, too" which, to a person trying to sell shoes, doesnt mean shit. Also, their policy on what shoes they will take to resale is pretty wack. They take "certain" kobes, 8million of the same fucking yeezys, foams, and a few models of jordans. It seems that they dont think theres a market for shoes outside of that realm for resale. No worries, CL ads are free. I have not purchased any clothes or "designer" shoes from here, so I cant speak on that. To sum it up, if youre kool with used shoes that have been cleaned and they try to restore them to some likeness of "new", this is a good spot. In my size, their new/DS shoe inventory wasnt spectacular, so never bought a pair of new-also, they seem to be at "resale" prices and not release prices. I will never shop at SneakerP Maryland or any of there other locations again. This establishment sets up shop in low-income areas to prey on poor people. Today I was stereotyped as a young dum black kid with attempting to do a transaction. They tried to play me with offers so low as if I was a crackhead in need of money. Community PLEASE don't shop here!! They have no respect for customers and will low ball you with offers because of your race etc.. Then turn around and sell the shoe for 4 times more than they pay! If you trade in shoes for another shoe they will still charge you 6% tax to the original price even with a straight trade. smh! No other shoe store in the area does that! Nice looking spot, shady employees. If I could rate half a star I would. They put an ad for a pair of yeezys on 10/21 saying if you were there on 10/22 at 1200 they would be yours. My husband was first in line and when he asked the employee where they were, the employee stated that they were sold at 1030. When my husband was discussing on instagram the employee deleted all the messages and they also have a fake profile that was making other comments telling him he needed to be grateful since he bought them. Really? That is a bold faced lie. I wouldn't be as mad but considering my husband drove from VA wasted time and gas to get there for shoes that weren't there in the first place. Then this man goes in and lies about it! Come on! This is a truly shady way of doing business and I will make it a point to blast this place for conducting business like that. DO NOT BUY DESIGNER SHOES FROM HERE!!! I recently bought a pair of christian louboutin's from them. At the time i thought i got a steal for them, come to find out they never even released the color way of the shoe. A google search of the model number shows nothing but fake sites. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! I trusted Sneaker Premier for the simple fact of how much they support the "sneaker culture" in the DMV. Great store good prices, they get bad reviews because the buy shoes off people so when people aren't happy with the price they say bad things about them.. the guy who buys the shoes saids people try to sell them 3 times the amount of shoes that they actually sell so that's why they have to raise the resell price so much I get shoes here all the time and understand how it works just by seeing the lines to sell shoes, if you know what price to expect if your selling shoes then you'll love this place if you think your going to get fair market price from a store that's buying it resell then you'll be disappointed it's pretty much like that, when selling to a reseller expect a lowball if you don't want a lowball you gotta sell them yourself, if you looking for nice shoes for low prices that are hard to find shop here. read more
