Italian sub with potato salad and a drink.
Chris A.

I was in Dallas and it was about lunch time and I was hungry for a sub.So I looked up Sandwiches and this place popped up and it was only a few miles down the road.So i walked in and looked at the menu and the selection is very limited so i decided to order what was at the top of the list and that was the Italian sandwich. So i ordered that along with the potato salad and a drink. The total came up to 20 bucks which I thought was a little pricey.Anyway i waited for my food and about 5 minutes later they called my name.So I sat down and took a look at my food and the first thing I noticed was the potato salad.Once again a place where the potato salad is pretty chunky which I'm not a fan of and I could tell I wouldn't care for it too much. Now the sandwich looked pretty good.It was toasted which was a surprise and it had quite a bit of meat on it.So I took my first bite and I have to say it was pretty tasty. Now the potato salad I really couldn't say the same.I ate about half of it and that was about it.So if I'm back in Dallas I would probably come back here again but next time I would skip the potato salad.Maybe grab some chips.

Turkey Club

First time trying Snarf's and let me tell you it was actually a great tasting sandwich place.. my sister and I decided to give a try, we noticed it was down the street from our house and never had tried it. We both got the Turkey Club sandwich. The sandwich was good and the cashier was very friendly. I can see this place getting busy during lunch time as well. I'll definitely come back to Snarf's.

I went with a friend to try this sandwich shop. It was a cute location, with a beautiful mural on the front of the service station. They carry my favorite chips: Zapp's which paired great with the sandwiches. The peanut butter honey sandwich was good, but the veggie sandwich was the star of the show. I have a hard time finding good vegetarian sandwiches and am so happy I found this. My favorite sandwich I've had in a long time! The service was great, and they were very helpful with customization!

Turkey and Swiss

Excellent sandwich and salad restaurant! I need one of these closer to my house! Easy to find and parking is easy to get to. The interior is bright, cheerful, and the mosaic tile on the facing of the counter really makes it friendly! The staff match the vibe as they were all friendly and helpful! The food is spot on in prep and taste! Not just another sandwich. I had the Turkey and Swiss which is served on toasted bread. The caramelized roll set up the quality thin deli sliced turkey to be a super tasting sandwich. The lettuce, tomato and pickle put this sandwich up in top of those in Dallas! Speed of service was great and cleanliness is very obvious! The prices are very reasonable for the quality, taste, and service! I'm very impressed!

I'm always here for a good sandwich, especially a hot one, and even though I live fairly close to this location, I've never heard of them. Thankful for a yelp event for the exposure because my experience didn't disappoint. I ordered the prime rib with provolone, noted my toppings and waited until my sandwich was made. After my first bite I thought, 'dang this sandwich is good!' I was nervous they'd over toast my bread, but that wasn't the case and I'm glad I went with my first mind in not making too many requests and allowing them to make the sandwich "as they come." I will say next time I'd add more mayo and say 'a little' extra seasoning, but the food was good--even the cookie!! I may have missed it but I don't think they offer a combo price that includes everything I had and the a la carte is going to cost you, but the sandwiches are huge and had a great taste despite.I look forward to trying another one soon. Staff was nice, restaurant was clean and I'll visit again soon.

Pastrami & Swiss Cheese and Italian Sandwich (Salami, Pepperoni, Capicola, Mortadella & Provolone Cheese)

Snarf's Sandwiches is an adventure worth taking. The service was great and super friendly, the store was clean, and everything came out pretty quickly. I ordered the pastrami (warm and cheesy) and the Italian (perfectly spicy), and both were packed with flavor. Pro tip: don't skip the toppings, that's the ticket straight to flavor town. I also tried the Cobb salad, which was fresh and crisp, and the ranch dressing was honestly fantastic. One of the better ones I've had in a long time. Overall, an awesome experience and I'd definitely come back again.

Mother Clucker

I'll admit I'd never heard Snarf's prior to this shop's opening, but I love a good sandwich so I definitely had to give them a try. For starters, this is a toasted sandwich shop (similar to Potbelly), but they also have salads, soups, and cookies. I had the Mother Clucker and they were GENEROUS with the chicken! The cheese was a bit skimpy so I would definitely ask for extra next time. The wait for my sandwich was long, but they've only recently opened and I could tell that the staff was still learning the ropes. Everyone was super friendly though and they did apologize for the wait. Great sandwich option if you find yourself I'm the area with a hankering for sandwiches.

Really solid sandwich place! Had lots of great options. Service was amazing and they gave me lots of different great options. Perfect casual spot to sit down and eat or grab and go!

this sandwich spot is close to me and I never knew it existed! First off I loved the customer service, the guy at the register with the locs gave me recommendations and I went with them all and I can say I will be back! I got the turkey and Swiss, I'm a simple sandwich girl, but got all the fixings. The sandwich was soOoOoOo good and filling. I actually ate the other half for lunch the next day. I got the snickerdoodle cookie and it was super good and soft. I'm a cookie snob so I recommend. The vibe is cool if you want to sit and eat. Friendly staff. I can't wait to come back. I'm making this my official sandwich spot! Especially because Eatzi is so expensive, Cheba Hut is too far, I will be back.

Rotisserie chicken and swiss
Felipe W.

Everything you would expect in a solid sandwich shop - bold colors, chalk menu, chips/cookies/variety of fresh sandwiches. They started in Colorado in 1996 and expanded to Dallas recently. I got the rotisserie chicken and Swiss 7" was nice and crispy, balanced with all the ingredients as a great sandwich would. The staff are friendly and the vibes are retro - 90s/newspaper comic art style.

Finally tried Snarf's at the new Dallas location and I get why people hype it up. The staff was clearly slammed but still upbeat and friendly, which always makes a difference. I ordered off the "secret" menu and went with the Farmer--turkey, bacon, and egg salad. I asked for the Thousand Island on the side because I thought the egg salad might make it too saucy, but the dressing actually complemented the sandwich really well. I took the sandwich home, ate half, and saved the rest for later. Hours later, the bread was still fresh, dry, and sturdy--not soggy at all. That alone earned points with me. Solid first visit and I'll definitely be back. Mother Clucker next time.

We checked this place out recently and it was just ok. I ordered 3 sandwiches to go. A 12 inch tuna and American, 12 inch Italian, and a 5 inch ham and cheese. I had a coupon for a BOGO sandwich and the total still came out to $34. The sandwiches are toasted like a few other places in the area. They were just ok. They only have white or wheat bread, so adding flavor with another bread option (rosemary parm, cheddar, etc.) isn't an option. We ordered the larger sandwiches to have lunch the next day, but they weren't the best the next day with the hard toasted bread. We would give this place another try eventually, but we're not in a hurry to try it again.

New Orleans chips are the BEST!!!

I went in, talked to the employees, asked which pies were shelf stable and could survive a trip to Austin, and after being told which, I promised I'd come back after dinner. The employees were so incredibly helpful and kind, and being able to come here and get something for my friends in Austin made this worth transporting everything from Dallas to Austin worth it. I don't know if they do, but I really hope they deliver frozen pies, because even in California, they would have a customer for life out here because of their hospitality and amazing customer service. The place wasn't too loud since they were in the last 90 minutes or so of business hours, but it was great because I got to ask them all of the questions I needed. The boxes are huge and fancy, but they are mostly full of empty space. When you open them, the actual slice inside is tiny. It is just a thin sliver sitting on a big sheet of paper. Handing a visitor a micro-slice in a giant box would have been embarrassing. Do not waste your money here. You are paying high prices for tiny portions hidden in pretty cardboard.

The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in. I personally wish they had been a little crispier, especially around the edges, but they were still decent and enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience. Between the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, good coffee, and fresh beignets, I would definitely try Le Bon Temps again without hesitation.

First bonus: they have their own little dedicated parking lot, which is definitely appreciated in Deep Ellum. Inside, there's also a cute greenery wall that makes a nice spot for pictures. Now, let's get to the important part-the desserts! They have everything: peach cobblers, banana puddings, ice cream, shakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, brownies, churro sticks and more. But we came to a place called The Peach Cobbler Factory, so naturally we were getting peach cobbler. And then we discovered they have DESSERT FLIGHTS. Genius! I love a flight because you get to try several things without committing to just one. We chose four small desserts--three cobblers and a banana pudding--plus vanilla ice cream with what seemed like a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. Let me just say: this flight was diabetes on a plate. Everything was SWEET. My favorite was the mango peach cobbler. It was very sweet, but that mango and peach combination was delicious and easily took the #1 spot for me. My sister's favorites (and basically tied for my second favorite) were between two. The blackberry peach cobbler. The blackberry gave it that rich, almost blackberry-pie flavor mixed with the peaches, and it was SO good. Then there was the sweet potato pecan cobbler. Completely different flavor from the blackberry peach, so it was almost impossible to compare the two. Sweet potato and pecans together with the cobbler, especially paired with the vanilla ice cream, Delicious. Our fourth choice was the red velvet banana pudding, layered with banana pudding and red velvet with vanilla wafers. That was the one we could leave behind. It wasn't terrible, but with this much sugar and this many calories on the table, it simply wasn't worth the calories for us. Overall, the dessert flight was the star of the show and such a fun way to sample several flavors. Three definite winners out of four, and we had a great time trying them and comparing favorites. A great little Deep Ellum find--and if you go, GET THE FLIGHT! One note: something like 'the flight size was perfect to share, but the full portions looked like way too much. It would have been way too rich. It might be great if they offered that smaller size as a standard option.
