I love the specialty artichoke sandwich here. One of my favorite sandwiches ever. Service is nice and it's pretty quick. read more

Yum! Solid sandwich shop with MANY MANY options on the regular menu -- pick your bread, cheese, condiments, meat, hot or cold sandwich options, etc. or....choose one of their delicious specials or.... Choose from one of the off menu secret menus! Can't go wrong. Prices reasonable. Soda fountain or can/bottle option. Plenty of seating. Everyone left full! read more

Love this sandwich shop! It's delicious. I have never been disappointed with anything here. Amazing

Had another great sandwich last week, but the preparers once again ignored my request for an "uncut" sandwich with my online order. When I order at the shop they usually get it right but not when I order online. Not sure why that is. read more

They think they get it, but they don't. Not at the one in Gunbarrel, anyway. Too wet and. Not the right ratio of meat to toppings. I mean, I've had worse and this is Gunbarrel so try it yourself. I'm somewhat of a sandwich snob so you may think it's just fine. read more

I recently enjoyed a Snarf's sandwich at their Boulder restaurant. The food was delicious, the facility was noticeably clean and the service was excellent! read more

This place is worth way more than 2.6 stars. They make a great sandwich. Lots of choices and the atmosphere is really great.

Food was really good. Good size and quick service. Was visiting my son, but if I lived there I would eat here all the time. Such wide options as well. read more

Such a great sandwich place. Stopped by after my bike ride, placed order online. My perfect tuna sandwich was ready in about 10 minutes. I'd say one of the most delicious snarf sandwiches I have ever eaten. If you are in the area, definitely stop by and check those guys out. Will come back for sure! read more

Snarf's Sandwiches - Tuna sandwich - Sandwiches Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

At the Gunbarrel location- tried probably over a year ago and not impressed. So thought I'd try again. Hard to find the meat...and taste was not great. Not sure if it was the bread, or the cheese or the little meat if any there was. I threw most of it out. read more

places is super unorganized , three times in a row I ordered a sandwich online for pick up and all three times they say the ticket didn't print and had to miss my lunch period from work because this place can't seem to make a sandwich. read more

Tried this place again after my last disappointing experience. The vegetables continue to be old and wilted, warm and nasty. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place continues to disappoint over the years. read more

$18 for a foot-long sub?? Really? This was not lobster... Just turkey and cheese. Versus Subway for a meatball sub foot-long seven dollars :-) and delicious! read more

I love Snarfs, but the Gunbarrel location seems to be the forgotten stepchild. We order online for pickup, but consistently missing some ingredient. Meat can be very skimpy compared to other locations and sometimes produce is beyond its expiration. What gives? read more

I've been here many times at this point. The food is always good, the people who work there do a great job, and my order always comes out the way I wanted. I don't know what else I could ask for. Every now and then it can take a little longer than expected, but that's when I place an order in the middle of a lunch rush, so it's completely understandable. read more

Absolutely some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I started with the eggplant parm - delish. Then the meatball - big wow. And most recently, the BBQ Brisket. The last was so good, I did a little dance. lol The bread holds up perfectly and even stays crispy. Their brownies are equally delish! Definitely some of the best and well-priced food in Gunbarrel! read more

Snarfs used to be so good. The Gunbarrel location messes up orders literally every time now and the sandwiches come out terrible. When you have to go back for the correct, mediocre sandwich, they are rude and care little about the inconvenience. Will not be going back. read more

Update: thanks for the reply Ellen, but ordering online or through the Splickit app requires a credit card. As someone who has been the victim of identity theft I'd rather pay in cash, plus Snarf's is often an impulse purchase, not something I plan ahead of time. I appreciate the response though. Original review: If you have lots of time to kill then this is the place for you! I ordered a salad for lunch today and waited a half hour for it to be prepared. Unfortunately with the wrong dressing, and this is not the first or even second time this has Other than the painfully slow service they make good sandwiches on par with other Snarf's locations in the area. The prime rib and hot brisket sandwiches are especially good and the hot peppers are a great addition. Just don't stop by during the lunch rush if you are on a schedule and short on time as you will be waiting awhile for your order. read more

This place consistently makes orders wrong. Just got home with my order tonight and my salad was missing one of the ingredients. Also, the avocado on the salad still had the skin on it. Last time my family went in to pick up dinner, all three of the sandwiches were missing ingredients or on the wrong bread. I actually cannot remember the last time we received an order that was correct. When you go to get your order corrected or call in, it is painstaking dealing with the super stoned staff. I get it, I used to work in food service, but you still have to be able to put food out and talk to the customers. This location is also extremely slow. Tonight we ordered ahead and went in to pick up the order at the time they said it would be ready and waited another 20 minutes for it to come up. When ordering delivery the orders usually take at least one hour. One time, it was delivered to the wrong address and we never received it. Two other times after an hour I called in and they said they had no record of the order even though it charged my card. Another time when we went into the store to order, we ordered a shake with our sandwiches. After waiting 30 minutes for the shake, we had to ask them to make it. They said they were busy and couldn't make it. I told them I paid for it and would still like to receive it, so they made it which still somehow took another 10 minutes. We used to order about once a week, because the sandwiches and salads are really good, but now we rarely go in. We have had so many ridiculously long waits, cold sandwiches, deliveries that never show up, sandwiches made wrong. It's completely out of control. I keep giving them one more try, but tonight was totally unsatisfying and didn't really feel worth the money spent. The bad reviews on here are all totally legit. They really need to work on training their employees and customer service. It's bad. It's to the point where I feel stupid for giving them so many tries to get it right. LOL read more

Stopped in tonight to grab a quick sammy because I am a fan of Snarf's. I've only been to the Boulder locations in town before, so I figured the quality would be the same. The order took a little longer than I expected, but I got exactly what I wanted. The staff was friendly and my order was great. I'm glad to know there is a snarf's near me if I'm heading up north Boulder. read more

Snarf's Sandwiches - Counter - Sandwiches Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

I'm sitting here writing this dipping my French Dip sandwich into a water cup. Why? More on this in a bit. It took effort not to give this location 1 star. I've eaten here at least a dozen times, along with my colleagues where we work across the street. More than half my orders over the past year have been wrong. Making a mistake once in a blue moon is totally fine, but sitting around a 60% mistake average is ridiculous. I get the whole stoner vibe here but it's actually super annoying to pay someone to make something and they're too stoned or dopey to follow directions. It's got to the point where we all just expect things to be totally messed up. But it's not cute anymore. If I was the owner I'd clean house. Hire motivated, sober employees who take pride in doing a good job. I'd clean up every hour (the tables and floor are filthy) and ensure quality control in the food. This is your business. Not some charity event. Oh, about my sandwich.... ordered a French onion to-go. When I went to pick it up I asked for the dip. The girl nonchalantly says, "oh we don't have any cups for it". So I ask how am I supposed to eat a French Dip? She said I could put it in a water cup. Nice work Snarfs! read more

Found the place using my food app, of course, Yelp. I went in and ordered a BLT sandwich. The only thing is that I went right at lunch so it was a pretty long wait to get my food. When I did get my food, the bread was fresh and had a nice chew. I think if I do go here next time, I will call and order ahead. read more

Seriously, stop letting the staff take dabs or whatever it is they do. How do you forget the main ingredient on the sandwich? I mean I could get forgetting putting a tomato slice or a pickle or whatever, but the main ingredient? Then the wrong bread on two of the sandwiches today? Come on. The dumb stares given by the line, lack of attention to detail, consistently this store being consistently wrong with the order, online orders just not showing up, consistently waiting over 20 minutes, etc etc. I mean I'm starting to think this is your business model and you think it's funny. I might be back, but for now I'm going to Deli Zone. read more

This has gotten so overpriced. $3.50 for an up charge on GF (which is a medical need for me... frustrating) and no 12 inch available? Sad to say I won't be back. $22 for a sandwich (Added avocado THATS IT)?! read more

I order from here (embarrassingly) frequently because it's near my neighborhood and convenient. The thing that really makes me think that this place deserves five stars is how friendly, kind, and accommodating all of their employees are. Every once in a while, like today, my sandwich will be made with an ingredient I asked them to leave off, or vice versa. They have always been happy to re-make the sandwich for me in a timely manner, and are always very nice about it. As someone with experience in the service industry, I hate being that person to complain, but I just can't power through a sandwich that contains an ingredient I don't like, so I really appreciate their kindness and good attitude in re-making my order when mistakes happen. Their employees are very nice, the food is good, it's a convenient and yummy place to grab a quick lunch. read more

If you are looking for a speedy sandwich with good flavor this is your place. Snarf's has a handful of locations around which makes getting a quality affordable sandwich easy and convenient. This Snarf's location was a little slow, but the sandwiches tasted great. I had the prime rib, loaded with toppings, plus sprouts and mushrooms. The large size was plenty for two people. Ask the sandwich artisans to add hot sauce, if desired. read more

How does it take 25 minutes to make a sandwich when I'm the only person In here . Place is a joke

More than half the time I get my sandwich it is made wrong. Right now is the perfect example. I asked for no mayo, mustard or hot peppers. The only toppings on the sandwich are mayo mustard and hot peppers. They closed 10 mins ago and I am now stuck with literally the worst sandwich I could have asked for. I will say that everyone in there is super nice and the service is pretty quick. Every 3 out of 10 sandwiches are spot on but that is too low of an average when all they do are sandwiches. Doesn't seem like there is much of a standard. Honestly the hardest thing about this place is how good their food is when it is made right. When it doesn't hit that mark it really is a disappointment. Especially when I am paying $10+ for a 7" sub. It should be just about perfect every time or I might as well go to Subway. At least there I know exactly what to expect. read more

I'm not sure how to rate this place. I'll start with something positive and say my sandwich was good. The bread was good, overall a decent sandwich. I have 2 issues with this place and it's why I won't go back. 1. They charge $3 extra for Gluten Free. That seems outlandish to me. I'm open to listening if there is a valid reason for this, other than just taking advantage.... 2. The meat they use is not quality. It contains nitrates that I typically avoid, we all should. Nitrates top the list for things to avoid completely. There ya go. read more

I come back for the sandwiches but as many of the reviewers indicate, this place is agonizingly slow, even when no one is in the restaurant. it's also 50/50 that they'll get your order right. During our most recent visit, we ordered our sandwiches online hoping it would speed up the process. It didn't. Fifty minutes later we finally got our order. Foolishly, we didn't check the sandwiches until we got home only to find they got the order seriously wrong (wrong sandwiches, wrong condiments). Honestly, how hard is it to compare the order to what you're making? It's beyond me why the owners care so little about customer service. read more

I ordered the steak and provolone cheese sandwich with onions and mushrooms to go. The order was ready within 5 min and I was greeted by a nice Bostonian cashier who claimed I had ordered the best on the menu. The sandwich was alright but the steak was a little tough in my opinion. Also the bread added to the dryness of the sandwich. I ordered wheat bread but it kinda felt like I was eating cardboard. Not sure I'm sold considering the number of sandwich places in town. Maybe the Boulder location is better. read more

I really like Snarf's. Good bread, good fillings. And don't forget to add the hot peppers!

First let's start with the basics, ordered online (which was super easy, even tho i don't really trust internet ordering), i asked for extra meat and a friendly employee called me to inform me that it would be $1.50 extra, but online ordering doesn't pick that up. So i paid over the phone for the extra, easy peasy. Delivery was quicker than expected, the driver was just over the top friendly and seemed to be enjoying himself. Positivity, it's contagious! I got something from the 'off the menu' menu and as usual it was freaking tasty (something something club). Toasted bread was on point, and the extras were not falling out of the sammy. All good proportions and was possible to eat without a fork to scrape up the deserting ingredients. Now onto the nuances. I made a terrible mistake. The double meat. At the *&#% sandwich stores double meat usually = normal east coast amount of meat. Not this time... oh no not this time. So this off the menu club already comes with double bacon... so i can only assume was the entire core of this megalith meat-beast was just pure bacon. Every bite... bacon... and turkey, potentially an entire turkey. I can't be sure because there were no bones.... but it sure felt like they stripped an entire turkey of the good meat and wrapped it around 4 lbs of bacon.... the fit it somehow in this meat submarine. Then ham.... you thought it was just turkey? God no. So we have a full pigs worth of ham and bacon, soaked in an entire turkey.... then layered with peppers, pickles, tomatoes and by using some kind of wizardry they fit the damn thing inside of a roll. I ate half the sandwich, started sweating. It was after 12 so i felt okay with getting a beer to help me handle what i had just ingested. I laid on my couch and watched some re-runs of Parks and Rec... sipping this beer and trying not to burp up an entire pork belly. Thankfully, pot is legal here in Colorado. So i indulged in such recreation, to try and settle my gluttony based self torture. It worked! Within half an hour i was ready to just take one more tiny bite...... i ate the entire other half of the sandwich. Now i have migrated from the couch, to bed. It's 5pm. Im stoned, have three beers in me. A small startup farms worth of livestock digesting, and i think i may pass away. 10/10 would do it again. Keep up the good work. BTW that delivery driver was great. read more

Be patient for a sandwich this good! Having regularly visited Parisi's bakery in NYC I'm a spoiled eater. But this is hands down the best sandwich out here in the west. They have the BEST BREAD, and that's where to start when making a fricken sandwich. So many shops here in Colorado cant seem to figure this out. I call these crack sandwiches because I can't help but go back every week. Not just the because of the bread , they actually fill the sandwich and toast it. The hot pepper topping is super yummy too. Sure it takes a little time to make a quality product. In a hurry? Use the app or just go to Subway and enjoy the bland taste of mediocrity read more

This place is just not good, look for other options if you have the option. Food: Average to below average. The bread is consistently over toasted, the ingredients are unappetizing, however there is a large selection. Price: Overpriced/ Bad value. A foot long will cost you $13+ including tax, which is about $5 more than I'm willing to pay for an average sub. Service: Slow and inattentive. It took two employees 20 minutes to make 4 sandwiches and they had to repeatedly ask the customers to clarify their orders. read more

Thrilled to have Snarf's in the neighborhood! Based one some of the previous reviews, I'd say they're improved and are up to the quality & service I've come to expect.
