We had Hawaiian barbeque and everything pizzas. They were very good. Most felt it was some of the best they had ever had. I enjoyed it, but I've had better in my hometown. It is personal preference. My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to trying ZwanzigZ Pizza & Brewery, but…read moreunfortunately our experience left a lot to be desired. We dined inside and still ended up with at least three mosquito bites each, plus flies and sweat bees constantly buzzing around. That alone made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. The woman's restroom stall had no lock, which was uncomfortable. Service was unwelcoming -- not outright rude, but there was no friendliness or warmth. The food didn't help redeem the visit. The garlic bread was simply a hoagie bun with cheese, warmed just enough to melt the cheese, leaving the bread soggy instead of toasted. The pizza tasted as if it had been microwaved, with the cheese having that unappetizing plastic-like texture. Between the bugs indoors, the restroom issue, the lackluster service, and the disappointing food, this will not be a place we return to.

Everyone working there was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You could genuinely tell they enjoyed their jobs, and that made the whole experience even better. Lucas S. took great care of us and gave us excellent beer and food recommendations--everything he suggested was perfect! It also happened to be my husband's birthday that day, and we had such a wonderful time celebrating there. Great food, great service, and genuinely kind people. We're so glad this place was recommended to us and would absolutely return!

I was thrilled when I realized it was only about 20 minutes from where we were staying! They do an incredible job creating unique, fruit-forward beers. They even make a sour IPA that tastes almost like a margarita--bright, refreshing, and not overly hoppy at all. A flight was the perfect way to try several flavors. The food portions were huge! We ordered the brisket nachos and a mushroom burger without realizing the burger was a double. It was so much food, and everything was delicious. The beer, food, and experience absolutely lived up to two years of anticipation. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriend ordered a Bloody Mary for her drink and we got the Loaded Pulled Pork Fries for an appetizer. The fries were tasty, only complaint is they could've used more of the BBQ sauce due to the pork being a bit bland on its own. The fries were crunchy and seasoned well. The Bloody Mary was good, not the best she had ever had but it was good. She really enjoyed the "snacky snacks" on the top. We then ordered the Margherita pizza. It came out looking visually great. Upon tasting it was a tasty pizza. Would we order it again, I don't think so, but that is because it just isn't our normal go to. It was nice to try and a pleasant experience. When we eventually return we will try a different pizza and hope to enjoy it better.

As always in our reviews we started with an appetizer and we chose the Cheesy Bacon House Tots. They were delicious!! The spicy ketchup while nothing fancy added a great variety to oppose the ranch our wonderful server Joe recommended without hesitation. You can also add the warm soft rolls to the app experience. They were even more tasty. Could eat a ton of those alone and be happy! For our mains she got steak and shrimp and chose grilled shrimp as opposed to fried. She absolutely loved the steak and said it was exactly what she needed! The shrimp sadly, was not, she took a bite and had a reaction I haven't seen before. We believe the seasoning was just not to her taste. Our server Joe again was right on the spot and offered the solution to swap for the fried shrimp and they were so much better in her opinion. We cannot thank Joe enough for being so friendly and professional. She had mashed potatoes for her side and was not blown away but that is perfectly okay. The meal came with a salad, however it was okay at best. The uncut veg while visually appealing takes away from the eating experience. As for my main I ordered Messy Mike's Burger without the fresh red onion to medium well temp. The temp was overdone, but truthfully is no big deal to me. It was still tasty and very flavorful. An item I would order again for sure!!! The French fries were crispy and well seasoned and the green beans were also a great addition to the meal. Overall the food was great and alone is a 4 star given the remedy. The big driving force for the 5 star was the fantastic service provided by Joe. It isn't often I mention the server, but he was attentive, kept our drinks full, was polite and the true home run was the quick remedy of the issue with the shrimp. We hope the tip we left was enough to show him that we appreciated him and thought he did well!! We will return and hope to have him as a server again.

She took the time to let us know about the history, the quality of the local-sourced food, her personal recommendations for beer and food. She was exactly what we love about trying a new brewery and sitting at the bar. She let us try a few samples and we found some pretty good brews. These are lighter than our personal preference in craft brews, but they were delicious. The food was amazing. My husband had the burger and I had the Caesar salad. Very good!!!! The overall vibe of the brewery combines elements of history with the pride of keeping things fresh and modern. It's a really nice balance. The brewery is situated right on the river and once the boardwalk and construction is done, it's going to be beautiful!!!! It's still beautiful and the construction didn't affect us at all, but it's an exciting project that Sally told us about. Highly recommend stopping here for some food and drinks. We loved it and heard the brunch is the best around.

The building sits on the banks of Driftwood River (now called East Fork White River) and offers spectacular views of the famous Robert N. Stewart Bridge in Columbus, Indiana. Upland Brewing Company is a local brewery that started in Bloomington, Indiana in 1998. Now, they have a number of popular restaurants/pubs across Indiana. The building, built in 1871, served as the Pump House supplying water to the city of Columbus, Indiana. The Pump House faced financial, water and quality challenges over the years, but was instrumental in industrial growth of the city. The Pump House operated until 1950, when the city moved to well water. The Pump House served a number of businesses and organizations since 1950. Upland opened the pub in 2016. We were greeted and promptly seated in the bar when we entered. Our server/bartender, Jess, was attentive and friendly. Several other servers also engaged with us, as well. One brought me a fascinating pamphlet describing the history of the building because I was curious. We arrived in time to sample their 3:00 - 5:00 pm Happy Hour. (I love a good Happy Hour.) We ordered Dragonfly IPAs, which went down smooth on a hot summer day. We also enjoyed a couple of sliders from the Happy Hour menu. The Bad Elmer's Fav burger was good with lots of bacon but my favorite was the Hoosier Tenderloin. I should note that much of the food is locally sourced. The building has a large dining room, bar, private dining, private event room, and a fabulous patio with river views. The landscaping is gorgeous. Their signature beers are available for purchase to go along with the logo shirt and a few other logo items. I highly recommend a visit. The food and beer are first class. The setting is lovely and service is attentive.
