I am really disappointed with the experience my mom had at Snappy Nails, especially because this pedicure was supposed to be a Mother's Day gift. She was so excited to treat herself and showed the nail tech a simple, elegant gold design she wanted, but the final result looked rushed and messy. The polish was uneven, poorly shaped, and did not look close to the inspiration photo at all. What makes it worse is seeing how disappointed my mom felt afterward. A Mother's Day gift is supposed to make someone feel special and appreciated, but instead she left upset and unhappy with the service she paid for. We expected much better quality, care, and attention to detail. I have been coming here for a few years already, i just decided to take a break so my nails can heal.. this is my second time at this location getting the same exact set and i even pointed out the girl that did my last one to help the guy make it similar. My first visit getting this set Jane charged me $45-$47 it was a new acrylic set. Very simple as you see in the picture just one simple color on short nails. No design or Diamond added. I decided to go tonight and get the same set. This male decided to charge me $60 ?? i asked why ? and what he said made no sense. when i explained how, if i got the same exact set, Same Length, for a lower price the first time. second visit i remember i got the same short nails on french tip which everyone knows that is a up charge and that was $55 so why am i getting charged $60 for just a simple color this time ?? I know nail salons eye ball you and make up prices depending on the looks of the customers but definitely didn't expect this from this salon. They lost all my respect and definitely will not be coming back. Will definitely warn people about this place. My bad Snappy Nails experience First of all the male that did my nails put some curved nails on me, those were not the ones I wanted, cause usually i get my nails pretty long. Then I showed him two pictures of the designs I wanted and asked him which one would be easiest for him. While he was doing the design he had to redo the design 4 TIMES!! I was already frustrated with the service so far so I just told him to just put a coat of polish so I can get going. Then he proceeds to try 2 more times! Then he says "okay I'll just put a coat of polish" then I was so frustrated that I didn't leave him a tip and don't regret it. So basically I left the salon with a super basic nails. So rude! Don't greet people and just ignore them. They also talk bad about you in their language thinking you won't understand!

These photos are after having a spa pedicure done. She didn't clean any dead skin on the sides. On my pinky toe she left the nail just hanging off instead of cutting it. She had gloves on while she did my pedicure and then touched another clients foot and sandals, then money and still kept on working on my feet with the same gloves. Very unsanitary. I still paid but obviously left no tip. I let the front desk guy know (Kenny) and all he said was "tell her so she can fix it". They definitely don't care about doing quality work. They just want to be paid for the horrible service they give you. My mom also got a pedicure by a different lady, I am adding a photo of her pinky toe as well. Horrible customer service! 1st the man named kevin he has tattoos on both arms was extremly rude the moment I said I did not want gel. He flat out told me my nails were "NO GOOD"because I didnt have gel. Normally I go to Angels nail salon in Indio (760) 775-6844 because they are extremly sweet and have wonderful customer service and do so much more for the same price but sadly I was on a time crunch. Started on my friend 1st then started on my toes as soon as my friend was almost done. Then I had to het acrylics and was scolded for not saying anything about have dip on my nails. The lady said 20 mins and started on another pedi. I personally took off the dip. Then sat for another 20 mins waiting for someone to start. After all said and done I spent 3 hours there and charged 83 for a pedi and acrylics. My nails came out horrible. Do not go!!! I've tried several nail salons in Cat City and Palm Springs and have been consistently disappointed with the manicures and pedicures and attitude. I agree with a previous review that the man at the front is rude and frankly dishonest (tried to tell me my 9am appointment for today was actually yesterday, however that was impossible since I made the appointment in person yesterday at 1p!), however if you get past that, the female operators are wonderful and pleasant and do a great job. I do recommend making an appointment. I've found an operator I like and will now use her all the time. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. First off, state board REALLY needs to pay this place a visit. Nothing is properly sanitized. I watched as one nail tech clipped a woman's toe nails and then clipped another woman's nails with the same clippers about 2 mins later. Then the same woman used them on another woman's feet within 20min these same clippers were used on 3 separate people. Not once was the tool cleaned. I was appalled. Second, the manicures are awful. Nails were uneven, nail polish was full of bubbles and it lasted all of 3 days. I was told it would be a 5 minute wait. I got seen 40min later. Well the service is okay, my sister in law and I came in and waited about 15-20 minutes for us to get waxed. When we into the wax room is was small. In the room was a chair, a message table and their wax station there just enough for someone to sit down and the wax lady to walk around. If there is no room why have a chair for someone to sit? Well anyways, the lady did a good job when she was all said and done but the process of getting it done was a different story. She didn't apply pressure after removing the wax from our skin so we had the worst pain. She had the worst habit of double dipping the same stick so we had a mix of cold and warm wax. this place has a lot of bad reviews, and I have always tried to avoid it because of it, but I decided to give it a try because I've had bad experiences in so many nail salons w even 4-5 stars. I walked in today and they took me in right away, it is true it is a bit awkward when you first walk in but riga woman came and told me to sit down, she got my pedicure started, I loved it. Then she told me to move to a chair where she did my acrylic set and I LOVED IT! I always stick to coffin nails, and so far from the many places I've gone to she is by far the BEST! Took her time shaping my nails and painting them, they are all even and perfectly shaped. I have never been this happy w the shape and the way my nails look.
