My friend and I recently visited this nail salon for two pedicures and a fill with a nail fix, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing -- mainly due to pricing transparency and service quality. Our total came out to $233, which felt extremely excessive for the services received. My friend's pedicure was listed at $60, mine was listed for $50 but adding gel polish was an additional $20 just for polish. I added gel polish to my hand and toes as well and ended up paying $60 total just for gel polish alone. There were no prices posted. I saw $50 plus $20 gel on a receipt. We were never informed of these additional charges beforehand. Had I known, I honestly would have declined or gone elsewhere. On top of that, the technician forgot to apply a top coat on one of my friend's toes, which shows a lack of attention to detail -- especially considering the high cost. Overall, the biggest issue for me was the lack of communication and transparency about pricing, combined with service that did not match the premium price point. Wanted to try a new place, saw all the promotion around shopping complex thought we could try it out. Stood in the front for about 5 minutes with no acknowledgment from the staff or anyone. Just left. Saw the guy running the front just smoking outside on the curb so I just skipped this place. EDIT: I took a card while waiting and saw the lady just doing nails of me no hi or anything. The customer even saw me too waiting for awhile. Only 2 customers. Sat in the parking lot for another 10 mins to see other places to go and saw the person on the curb go back inside. I had an appointment at this salon on Monday, April 6, the day before my birthday. As a wheelchair user, I brought my tray for my wheelchair so the technician could easily reach my hands. I showed her the design and nails I wanted. She immediately told me my nails were "too thick and girly" and that I needed to look "cute and sexy as a male." Despite me repeatedly telling her I didn't like how thin she was filing my nails, she kept insisting it would make me look "cool." As a trans person, this was incredibly uncomfortable and disrespectful. At checkout, the price was $5 more than quoted. The lady at the register ignored me trying to enter my email and just typed whatever she wanted. I spent way too much money to feel this uncomfortable and unhappy with the result. I had to go to another salon the next day - on my actual birthday - to fix what she did. If you're a member of the LGBTQ+ community, be cautious. New higher pricing and change in service menu. 2 wks ago I was there for almost 4hrs ( just mani pedi nothing special). Today I had a 1pm appt for which I was seated at 1. At 1:30 I was still not attended to. When I asked how long it would be to be seen and told, soon. At 1:45 all technicians were still servicing other people so clearly not ready to do my nails. When I started to leave I was told my appt was for 1:30, despite their online appt system reminding me it was at 1. Since new mgmt, service has suffered and prices are higher. Great service! We arrived 30 mins before opening because we did not have an appt. They took us in and started right away. The nail tech that served us was really patient. Given that the it was the birthday girl first time getting her nails done by a professional. Super clean nail salon and nicely put too! Reasonably priced. They charged us $90 for the nails she requested. Though the butterfly attachment fell off that same day they did a good job! read more

One star this visit. My first visit was wonderful, but unfortunately people only write about the really bad experiences. Basically, the owner has poor customer service skills and the staff need to learn not to agree to services they can't perform. Save money, do your own nails. "New management, same doo doo." Edit: The review I left is based solely on experience I had at your salon today and I stand by what I said. I called and explained what I needed done. I was given an appointment. I did not just show up and demand/request anything other than what I scheduled an appointment for. My needs were very clearly expressed. I was promised a service, I was quoted a price which I agreed to, I was even sat down to receive the service and picked out my nail color. Your employee left for several minutes without an explanation, and then you came over and backtracked on the agreement for (verbal)I made with your employee. Yes, you did proceed to tell me that you could see my nails had a bad base you could not fix another shops mistake. However, that information was not given to me when I called an received an appointment for service or when I arrived at my scheduled time to receive service. Once was finally made aware of your policy I asked you what would you recommend? You said "go back where you came from and get the to redo it." To which I responded they did a terrible job the first time, so why on earth would I go back there? I then asked if I could just soak them off... which would have been a good time for you as a business owner to recommended services you could provide such a a fill, new set. gel mani; etc. (but I saw and still have the screen shot from an instagram post from when y'all were hiring and it was in Vietnamese but I translated it. So no I don't fit the clientele you were trying to sell to your potential nail tech Oops). It makes perfect sense why I did not receive a warm or a welcome at all from you. From the moment you came over to me I got bad energy and attitude from you like you were annoyed. You never greeted me, went straight to "what do you want done?" The reason you refused to service me the second time is because I told you that I basically waited around for the appointment and next time your employee should be more specific on the telephone. As I had told her exactly what I needed done. You told me you could tell that I was upset (yes, I stayed in town an extra hour and to wait for my appointment which could not be completed), And you ASSumed I would leave unhappy. (At this point we had agreed just to soak off nails, no polish...). Your employee was great, and even after agreed to in her words, "fix her mistake." I was so taken aback with your nasty attitude and poor customer service, I decided to leave. Hope it's clear now why I left this review for YOUR business. Today was a total disappointment. I literally wasted my money. I went in to get a pedicure and callus clean and wow never been so unhappy. & not to mention my toe nail was not cricket and now it is. My feet always look beautifully cleaned but the lady didn't feel like working today. And please sanitize and clean your pedicure chairs it's so dusty. I recently revisited Finesse Nails, and wow, what a transformation! Now under new management, my experience was nothing short of fantastic. My fingernails and toes are absolutely perfect - just the way I like them. The shop was spotlessly clean, and the cool air was such a refreshing escape from the desert heat. I've been to shops where they don't want to run the AC and it's miserable! Not here! The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was just right. Ivy my nail tech listened to what I asked for and executed it perfectly. I'm super particular about my nails, I wear them very short so it takes skill to make short nails look cute and feminine. Always great service!! I've been going to this salon for about 4 years now. Each time I've had a great experience. They're under new management and I have to say, I love the changes in operation. They have a social media presents. There's no more waiting when you have an appointment. They offer refreshing beverages while you're having services done. It feels very luxurious. I stopped by for dip powder and a pedi recently. Pauline was so spot on with the color and the shape of my nails. Good thing too because I couldn't decide on a color, but she read my mind. Tina gave me such a relaxing pedicure. It's two days later and my feet Still feel amazing. The treatment you get here is a hit or miss. The younger girls don't ever look like they want to work. They look very annoyed when they have to. There's time where they will leave you in the chair to start another client and you'll be sitting there for 15 minutes or more. Very unprofessional. And on top of that they don't even tell you. They just get up and walk away leaving you wondering and sitting there. If I were you, I'd find a place consistent with their services and spend your money elsewhere. read more
