It was great, friendly, well priced. My 3 year old and I were taken care of. She only got a nail polish since she's 3 but the lady took her time with her, even put a nail sticker on her toe with no charge it was very cute. Pedicure chairs super comfy. The only reason I gave 4 is because there wasn't a great selection of nail polish, maybe because most people do gel now but they looked a little outdated, I would recommend bringing your own for a regular mani or pedi. This is not my usual place but I tried it because I got a gift certificate. I got a pedicure and dip about one week ago before my trip to NYC. I decided to upgrade the pedicure to the lavender package with hot towels. I didn't have a problem with that. It is similar to what I get at my nail salon. I had a huge problem with the dip powder though. They didn't use the UV light at all. When I questioned this I was told that the product they use is different than other places and it's not necessary. They kept telling me what they use is better and will last longer. After the paint, They had me wash my hands but said no soap. Then they rushed me over to start on my feet. Sitting there, I made the mistake of touching my L side thumb not realizing it wasn't dry. They had to fix. But she tried to do it quickly and it was rough to the touch. I made him fix it before I left. On this one thumbnail they sanded it a bit, painted over it and used the clear coat and the Uv light. Strangely it's not chipping like the rest of the nails. Only a few days after the dip it was stating to chip. Now it's even worse. There is no reason it should be this beat up at this point. Normally the dip powder will last me about 3 weeks compared to the gel which doesn't last as long. Ugh Definitely don't waste your money . read more

Snappy nails was my go to nail salon but within the last few years I haven't been so satisfied with the quality of their work. The prices are great so if you don't mind low quality work but want to pay less than other salon then snappy nails is for you. Recently I made an appointment to give them another shot and was very disappointed in their customer service. My mom still comes here often and told me if I make an appointment with the owner or his wife than I won't be disappointed so I did exactly that. Showed up 5 minutes late to my appointment and called to say I would be a bit late but to my surprise when I arrived they had sat someone else with the nail tech I specifically asked for. I was too afraid to try someone else so I told the owner that I made and appointment specifically with his wife. His response was that could wait or come back. It was said in such a rude way that honestly I just left and tried a different salon. If you happen to try this place out I would suggest thinking twice and going down the road near hunt club. I went to get a gel polish fill. I was assigned to a young man. He was doing a great job, but when it was time to shape my nails he he began to struggle with the coffin shape I asked for. Then suddenly he got up to do a pedicure on someone who just walked in. Another worker came to continue my nails. I showed her the shape I wanted and she began doing something totally different. I kept correcting her net she didn't listen and she messed up my nails so badly, she had to cut all my nails off and start over. I was so angry! Even when she started over she was still doing a horrible job. I left very upset and disappointed with my nails. Everyone acted like they couldn't speak English well, so there was no one to complain to. Never again! She spoke enough English to ask for a tip. My tip is...don't go to Snappy Nails. read more

The salon, I would say, is just like any other as far as set up is concerned. You walk in and they ask how they can help you and continue on with service just as one would expect. (Side note: My girlfriend comes here with her sister occasionally. She made an appointment a few days in advance so we expected exceptional service) Our appointment was for two gel manicures and two pedi's to go at the same time. We both sat in the pedicure chairs and chose the deluxe pedicure which is 45 or 50 minutes long. There was no real cutting of the cuticles because the nail techs use machines to sand everything down. That was definitely a huge disappointment. It takes away from the steps of service. I thought this was something that they use for pedicures only but later found out as my manicure was being done, that they do in fact use the machines for all procedures. Besides the lack of cleaning the cuticles and such, the gel polish was quickly painted on and we were escorted to the pay counter right away. I understand the business and needing to move people in and out quickly but I believe there were shortcuts made and rushing the clients out the door is not welcoming to a potential future customer. I'm so upset and irritated. I took my daughter to get her 1st full set and do a fill-in for myself, my nails are so not symmetrical. I have some suare and others are rounded. I asked for my nails to be extended to the length as my longest nail and next thing I know the drill is taking down the length before I could even sgop the tech! one nail was damaged and a tip was added. the nail with the tip is way thicker than the other nails! and my daughter's nails were filed so much that several nails along the side are showing her nail bed. now I have to try and salvage my nails read more

I came here because my coworker recommended this place as she has been getting her nail nails done there for years. 1) I had gel on my finger nails and usually they will put acetone to soften the polish before scrapping it off. At this location they want to use the electric nail buffer that is used to removed acrylic. It scared me cause i thought they would tear my nail off 2) I got cut..i know things happen accidentally but this was not a some small cut 3) They need to post the prices somewhere, I was very upset when they told me how much my mani and pedi were. Where do I even start ... before coming into Snappy I called ahead & made an appointment. They were very rude & cut me off before I could even explain what all I needed to get done. My appointment was at 5:30. I arrived around 5:40 & was told to sit & that i would be seated soon. It was 40 minutes until they started on me. The salon looked like a daycare. There was kids running all around, yelling, throwing flip flops, playing behind the desks, playing with the sponges & files, ect .. I wanted acrylic french tips on my nails. My sister wanted a full set, & my mom wanted polish on her toes. My mom finished before we did & she needed to run up to the store while we were finishing up. While she ran to the store, she handed my sister her card just incase we were finished before she was back. She had made it clear with the employees that she had a gift card she wanted to use. Once my mom left, the lady doing my little sisters nails told my sister that she had to pay now (even though neither of our nails were done). She charged me for french tips (being extra money) although she never painted french tips .. she just put a white tip on my nail & added acrylic. Least to say, my mom was pissed when she came back in just to find out that the employees had taken advantage of my little sister. When I tried to speak up about how my nails looked, she made me feel as if I was in the wrong. She repeated over & over how she knows what she's doing & how this is what i wanted. My mom, my nail lady, & me were going back & fourth for a minute. A girl next to me tried to explain to my nail lady what I was asking for & my nail lady caught an attitude with her & told her once again, she knows what she's doing & that this is what I wanted. There was no way to fix my nails & I will be having to go to a different salon tomorrow to get them removed & get a new set. My little sister will also be needing to go to another salon to get gel on her nails. Her polish is chipped and not distributed evenly. Needless to say, there's $80 down the drain. Prices are not posted here. I came in for a leg wax and they told me it was $35. Half way through the wax: "oh sorry my boss said it is actually $42 not $35, is that okay?" I came in with my mom, who had just called them to see how much it was for a gel manicure. $17. Then we head over and they tell her $35 - she mentions the quote over the phone and they begin haggling with her... My nails are shattered within 1 week and I have not done any extraneous activity. One nail completely came off, and the other snapped in half causing damage to my real nail OW. The original service was unprofessional and prices continued to waiver. I was unreasonably charged for a shape that they couldn't even execute properly. My nails were all different shapes and slanted, they were harsh and dismissive, and the quality was ridiculously poor. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! They even proceeded to push my mother out of her chair just so they can help another customer. SHE WASN'T even done. The paint job was sloppy and bulky and resembled an infants work. I needed a new salon and came here because of the praise of one of my friends. First time, I requested to have a design, as I was getting my nails done for my Birthday weekend. No design, she 'forgot'. Second time, I had a male (understands little english), he asked how I wanted my nails shaped, I showed him my nails, which I had filed into the shape and length I wanted prior to coming in. Nope, I got what he wanted me to have which was shorter and rounder than I wanted. Third times a charm, right?? NOPE! I was asked same question, as to how I wanted my nails, I once again showed the girl (from the first time) my nails, and most of nails were okay, but one she filed sideways, leaving it lopsided. I was prepared this time, I pulled my file from my purse and had to file it short to make the nail even, which then made the nail next to it look odd so I had to file that one down too. So, three strikes, they are out. I will now travel to Winter Garden to use the salon my daughter uses, which will be a 24 mile round trip and not as convenient. After reading some of these reviews, I see I am not the only one dissatisfied. read more

I want to go back and give it another try because they are a little cheaper than the other nail salons in the area (you can get a mani/pedi for $30 instead of $35-40 at other nearby places) and conveniently located in a large corner shopping plaza with plenty of parking. However, going back I am definitely requesting the guy who works at the first station by the front desk. My sister went in and said he was great, but her husband had the same girl I did and neither of us were impressed to say the least. She rubbed so lightly during the "massage" I could literally barely even feel her hands on my legs/feet. I also had to ask for her to work on my heels more because they were still scratchy - which she wasn't even paying attention to because she would have known if she had felt them, and then my thumb had two spots where it had gooped up and just didn't look good so I asked her to redo the thumb (because I'm sorry, I'm not that picky, but if I'm paying to get my nails done, I want them to look better than they do when I paint them myself) and she seemed super annoyed that I asked her to fix it. Then (it gets better), she just painted right over it so now I have the base clear, 2 coats, top coat clear, and now a third coat of color on top of that...awesome (major eye rolling). Of course it looked even worse and she was like ok, done....mmm no. So after the rest dried I went up to pay and asked one more time for the thumb to be fixed and was just frustrating to say the least. I went in looking to get a full set and my toes color changed and eyebrows. My eyebrows came out okay one eye brow came out perfect the other she left hairs I didn't noticed till after because she didn't even let me hold the mirror to fully see them. Then my toes came out perfect no complains there. My full set before she started I told her about my nails being very fragile that my cuticles were very soft she basically didn't even listen. Not only did she cut my cuticles I bleed from one and she tried to keep going and I had to stop her. Then from drilling on the nails so much I had to tell her to stop to because it felt like my nails were on fire. Then she put so much paint on them that after 30 plus minutes of drying they were still kinda wet. And I left with bubbles in my paint from the fan she had me dry with. This is the ONLY I REPEAT ONLY place I will go to get my nails, my pedi, and my eyebrows waxed. I have lived in orlando and have tried so many places and they all do not compare to the work done here. My pedi lasts a month with the polish looking new. When I get my nails done the polish lasts for two weeks at least. Every time I get my eyebrows waxed they do them exactly how I want every time!! The prices are comparable to others but as far as the work they are an A+ compared to the crap work I've gotten at the other places I've tried. I came here for the first time because I was coming from work and thought I would try somewhere new. Big mistake! The lady who did my pedicure hacked off BOTH of my big toenails and said they were "broken", which they weren't and were just fine before sitting in that chair. The tools they used were in a box and not sterilized. She pulled my feet out of the water and while they were soaking wet she put lotion on them and "rubbed" it in for a minute or so and then wiped the rest off with a towel. My feet look like I NEED a pedicure now, not like I just had one. Awful!! I will never come here again and am going to hope and pray that I don't get any type of infection from coming here. Snappy nails is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I went in for a gel pink and white ombre full set and the tech tried three times (4 hours later) to do the service. They looked awful, nail tips put on crooked and the ombre was extremely uneven. But to make matters worse, the tech cut me in several places with the nail file trying to get file them 'straight'. She was not competent to perform that service and she should have never asked for payment. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. It was unsanitary too. She used a brush to wipe the filthy table which she never covered with a napkin then brushed my nails with it that now had open sores on them. It was the worst nail experience ever!!!
