The line was long and there were 4 employees that did not have a clue. One employee's phone rang while she was ringing someone up at the cash register. She stopped in the middle of checking someone out, answered the phone and chit chatted. I watched one employee do everything short of scratching her butt without changing her gloves before making my sandwich. Once I got to the front of the line the person running the cash register decided her shift was over and left. The other employees then just carried on trying to check out everyone behind me in line because they "didn't know what I ordered" and couldn't ring me up. I was tempted to just throw $20 on the counter and walk out. When I eventually talked the employee into checking me out, she tried to charge me for the person's sandwich in front of me as well as my own. What an epic calamity. On a positive note, I was really able to practice the patience I've been working on in therapy and using my meditation skills. If you'd like a great opportunity to practice your own meditation skills, head right into this Subway!
