Prices are fair, service is friendly, the menu is wide ranging (although I almost always get a Steak). Drinks are also a good value. Its a big upstairs space that is not obvious from the street where you might enter (off 4th fyi), that is divided into bar and dinning room spaces. Table service in both, same menu in both. Both spaces are casual and welcoming, this is an informal place where locals relax for a good meal. I'll be back next time I am up there.

Food was excellent and authentic, as if you stepped into Italy. (by the way, I traveled to Italy every few years so I am a solid reference) I would highly recommend the Trofie Rustiche dish...mind blowing! For appetizer, order the Bruschetta Mista. I promise you will love it. We also met the owner, Diego who is from Sicily. Great guy! Had an amazing conversation on his journey to the U.S. and how he became a restaurant owner. Say hi to Diego when you see him. You will feel like part of his family. Enjoy!

Went for my birthday twice and of course BOTH times my photo that was taken was never posted because I look different and unacceptable in this small town. Judgmental much? I also asked a question via messenger and was left on read so the fact I couldn't even get a simple reply back of YES or NO is so uncalled for. It's also too child friendly of a restaurant as they allow kids to scream, cry, and be loud to the point it's impossible to have actual conversations with your party. If you like being treated unfairly and be judged for how you look, and be treated unwanted customer this is definitely the place for you.

For being short-staffed and only having two workers total most times when I'm there with plenty of customers to serve, they do well! I enjoy stopping here when I'm in town. The prices seem high for drinks, but most coffee shops tend to be that way. Things I've tried that I recommend: Fat Boy Bagel- Fantastic cream cheese; it goes well with the roast beef, ham, and turkey. It's a big sandwich, too! Very filling. Main Street Melt: The flavors just melt on your tongue with this one and I can't describe it any other way than that. Vanilla Chai- DELICIOUS! I'm not huge on a ton of spice in chai, but Canyon makes the perfect amount of sweet and spice! Chocolate Covered Cherry Blended Coffee- This flavor is great in any form, but the blended coffee is my favorite! Mexican Mocha- This one is a great option if you're looking to venture outside your comfort zone! Cherry Garcia- Never disappointed with this one. Super sweet and tangy. Almond Joy Smoothie- Tastes similar to the candy bar but in liquid form! Yum! Chunky Monkey Smoothie- Tasted similar to the ice cream! Delicious! These are my favorites!

Happy to say, we are now anticipating our next breakfast stop. While this rural restaurant may not on par with The Original Pancake House, it is the best little breakfast stop we have experienced in Eastern Colorado. Upon entering we were greeted with a friendly smile and a dining area with a pleasant, clean smell that is tidy. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak which came with gravy, two eggs, hash browns and toast. I had the California omelet and chose pancakes to accompany it. All of this came standard with the meals at no additional cost. (Thinking back to a previous customer's review about extra charge for bacon.) Everything we ordered tasted great. No knife was needed to cut the chicken fried steak. A nice touch to our experience was the warm syrup. The wait staff shared the restaurant is almost a month into new management. High five to this manager and we send wishes for much success!

The good: Their sauces were pretty tasty…read more The bad: Our waitress didn't seem to know much about the menu. Half of their food was unavailable due to poor stocking or appliance malfunction. One item we ordered never came to the table, and another item was wrong and had to be sent back. The sandwiches and fries were reheated poorly so half of the dish was cold. One of our sides seemed suspiciously like repurposed leftovers from the previous day (it was pasta - you can tell.) The portions were tiny, and the prices were big. Our drinks were not kept full, even though the restaurant was not busy. The ugly: We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it came out with pork on top and turkey on the bottom. Just weird, so weird. The verdict: I don't think the owners are very serious about running a restaurant - seems like they are people who like to backyard bbq and decided to try and make some money off of it. Nothing about our experience recommended a return visit, and I can't say I think people should give this a try.
