I got a slice of biscoff cake and shared it with my friends, none of us could conceive how good it was! I will definitely be back here ASAP to browse and shop for more delicious vegan goodies!!

Took a photo of my purchases which will give future shoppers a sampling of what you can find here as they don't have a website. In concluding, will mention a couple of things which may be helpful. There is a photo posted to Urthly Vegan Market's Yelp page and a sandwich restaurant called SubVegan was right next door to them. Had been wanting to try them too but they've moved and are no longer at this location. Urthly Vegan Market has been in business for two years and I really hope they'll be around for years to come.

I come here looking for specific things like natural maple syrup and high quality flour. I tend to not get fruits and I tend to find more items here from small businesses than brand name spots, so I'll sporadically find things here to impulse buy. They also have lots of prepared self-service hot foods and a poke bar if you want a meal to go. My favorite thing here are their fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, priced at $3.75. They sell so many of them, that they're constantly putting out fresh batches. I've come in four times this year for it and it's been hot and fresh every time! I find that outstanding as I've been to stand alone bakeries with cookies that weren't as fresh as they are here. The cookie is massive and has high quality ingredients you can taste. It's as good of a chocolate cookie as you can find anywhere. Come get some, because if they keep up the high turnover, then I can keep eating them hot and fresh!

I've been obsessed with the coffee shop across the parking lot, and I finally felt that it was time for me to try fermentation farm. Their kombucha hands-down has been some of the best I've ever had. I tried the famous tuna melt and also got a chicken taco. The food was good, but not great in my opinion. At that price point, there are a lot of nearby places with quality ingredients that taste better. I do love the mission and background of this restaurant. I read up a little bit about how the food is sourced. Consumers are definitely getting quality products here, but sometimes quality doesn't always transfer over as deliciousness. Again, the food was good, but not something that I'm going to be yearning for. I would like to come back and try the chocolate cake that is also very popular and perhaps the Ramen. And of course, another flavor of their delicious kombucha.

The need to…read moreconstantly come up with new things to eat is exhausting (especially while balancing work and life) so I've started to explore the realm of meal prep. Enter MealPrep Revolution. This Huntington Beach concept serves up pre-cooked and seasoned meats, veggies, and starches by the ounce. I visited for the first time this past weekend and stocked up on three meals as a tester. My picks were the chicken meatballs with teriyaki sauce, sweet mashed potatoes and zucchini, the ground turkey with super greens and brown rice, and the honey ginger chicken with super greens and diced potatoes. While I wouldn't expect your grandma's cooking, the meals have been great so far. Quick and easy, healthy options, while also keeping me well fed during a busy week. I'd love to see this concept bring in a juice brand in the future! Having pre-made green juice would be another helpful item to knock off my list before the week.

I felt really comfortable going through the process and she told me the recommended way to heat up the dishes. I visited through Too Good To Go and received a crustless pizza as my option then I also purchased a chicken, sweet potato and veggie bowl as well. The crustless pizza was almost inedible -- it was incredibly hard to not have crust. The flavor was really lacking too so I couldn't even finish it. The chicken in the bowl had a really weird consistency...the best way to describe it was thick (I think it was the garlic asian flavor). It just wasn't for me..or my husband who also tried it and didn't want it. The inside was nice, the service was great, but the food was not it.

When we entered it was a small location where one side is a Romanian market and a food counter on the other side. No tables. Only a few counter seats. Honestly I was a little hesitant about this place but my worries were quickly quelled. Staff greeted us and clearly recognized we were in unfamiliar territory and took the time to explain things to us. Basically it's sausages, flatbread, sandwiches, and pastries. The small menu was a huge plus for me. I prefer a place that makes a few things really well. We got 3 sausages, potato salad, couple of flatbreads, and two pastries. The sausages were amazing. Ah-mazing. The carnati, which I believe is made in house, was so incredibly delicious. Thick, juicy, and flavorful. It kind of gave me a Chinese lap cheong flavor with a meatier texture. There was a very mild sweetness to it and a wonderful snap. The cabanas were smaller, dryer sausages. The snap on this sausage made and audible sound when you bit into them. On the saltier side. Not as juicy as the other two but had a great heartier texture. The skinless sausage was almost like a kafta in texture. Soft and juicy. Potato salad had peas, carrots, and chicken. Super delicious I highly recommend. Pastries were also really delicious. The Neapolitan was mostly custard with too and bottom layers rather than layers throughout but the custard was super thick and delicious. This place is 10/10. Totally unassuming spot with amazing food.
