I also enjoy looking at their clearance section for good deals. One time, they were selling Momofukuku noodles for 99 cents! What a steal! The market is never too busy, which is what I prefer when I go shopping. I enjoy shopping here, since it's peaceful. They play some nice music, while you shop. Also, this market has a lot of samples, so try it all to your heart's content! I never had a problem shopping here. Workers are friendly, and go above and beyond. They always ask me if I found everything ok, or if I need help with anything. One time, I had to do a return on a ripped bag of flour. Whew, it was easily done, and I got my new bag of flour! This was around 6 PM, the store wasn't busy, and multiple pans in the case were completely empty. It felt like pure laziness rather than a lack of product. Empty pans mean lost sales--definitely expected better customer service.

At this time in the world when things seem to be deteriorating, this location has become an oasis of tranquility, excellence and pleasantness. It is always the staff that make the difference anywhere, and here they are outstanding. I was particularly impressed by a person named Ada, who helped me on my last two visits. I thought at first she was the new manager of the health section because she was so professional and attentive. I was looking for the first item on my long list when a voice asked if she could help me. It was Ada, who stopped what she was doing in order to provide me with kind customer service. She was the type of person I didn't often see, someone who obviously took pride in doing her best. She quickly found every last item on my list for me, saving me enormous time. She knew immediately where everything was. It caught my attention that along the way, Ada did little things she didn't have to do. Things like straightening another item so the label showed while she was getting something for me. Or quickly placing more items to the front of the shelf when she took one off for me. At that price point, there are a lot of nearby places with quality ingredients that taste better. I do love the mission and background of this restaurant. I read up a little bit about how the food is sourced. Consumers are definitely getting quality products here, but sometimes quality doesn't always transfer over as deliciousness. Again, the food was good, but not something that I'm going to be yearning for. I would like to come back and try the chocolate cake that is also very popular and perhaps the Ramen. And of course, another flavor of their delicious kombucha.
