2019 is a new year, and I wanted a new me! This year I wanted to get more toned and lose some stubborn belly fat. After trying grocery store brands of protein powders, I just couldn't continue to use those due to the taste. A friend recommended Nutrishop to me, and since this is close to me, I decided to stop by. I was pleasantly surprised! Fangyi and another employee were both really friendly and took the time to explain the different options they had. I got a sample of their Pro7ein Synthesis in Gourmet Chocolate and was hooked. It tasted good, and has 34 g of protein per serving. They also had other great products including a vegetable fruit supplement, BCAA (branched chain amino acids), protein bars like Quest, and cold drinks in the fridge like Bang. The employees are well versed in their products and will gladly explain the differences between all the different types of protein powders. They also have a machine for free body scans to measure your % body fat, weight, % body water, how symmetric you are, and more. It was fairly quick and most importantly free. First time coming to an actual supplement store and I was pleasantly greeted by Mei. Fangyi had me try out different flavors of BCAA and helped me pick out which supplements I need to fuel my day after using their InBody machine. I had my body fat measured about 2 weeks ago and was surprised that I had lost 3 pounds of fat! I'll give this place 4 stars even though I only come here to pick up my meal preps. This is one of the locations that the meal prep business called $5 Dollar Meals delivers to for a weekly pickup. I always go on Sundays to pickup my meal preps. Whenever I go there usually isn't anyone there except the worker which is usually the same guy every Sunday. Very nice and courteous. Selection of supplements is pretty good so if you're looking for some good stuff, I would recommend coming here! read more

Came in for the first time today and had a great feeling about this place. Staffs were very friendly. Much more helpful than other nutritional stores I used to go. They also have a machine that basically analyze your body composition. I feel like going into a wellness store rather than simply a nutritional store. Highly recommend for all your nutrition needs. Parking is pretty easy for the most part since the plaza doesn't get too busy. Place is well kept and clean. Full stock of all the products: fridge for the pre-workout drinks, protein drinks ready for you ice cold. Also great selection of protein powders, pre workout powders , and other nutritional powders. New year. New goals. New supps. New owner. To be frank, I buy most of my supplements online, but once in a blue moon, I will stop by a brick & mortar store and check out what's new. Driving by this Nutrishop, I saw a banner out front that said that the store was under new ownership. This is a good sign, as owners who care to advertise that they're taking over a business, means well. And man, was I right. The new management (Fangyi & Mei) was as helpful as anyone managing a nutrition shop can be! One thing that'll keep me coming back on a regular basis is their Inbody body composition analyzer, which is WAY more accurate and detailed than your normal calipers and electronic BF analyzers. Tbh, Fangyi was gassin' me up when he was going over my body composition with me; not sure if this was a sales technique or not, but I did walk out with an overkill-of-a-preworkout and some of the best tasting BCAAs I've ever had (per the owner's recommendation; he gave me a sample, which ended up selling me). Just for the Inbody body composition analyzer alone, I will be back on a regular basis, along with some friends who think they can beat MY Inbody score of 91 (lolol). I've been wanting to try a new pre-workout, but I feel like a lot of them are junk nowadays and it's hard to find a good one that I like. I haven't taken pre-workout in a while and have kind of fallen out of the supplement game. So it was nice that when I came to this location, a guy named Alex was working and was very knowledgeable with all of the products that they had asked him about five different pre-workouts and he told me the benefits and cons of each of them, after talking with him for about 15 minutes can you help me pick out the product that was gonna be best for me for what I'm trying to do. Not only was he very knowledgeable. He was very nice and made me feel comfortable about the whole situation I didn't feel pressured whatsoever, and he even offered to let me try a few samples of other products that I might like. excited to give this pre-workout a shot and I will definitely be back to this location in the future! read more

I swung by here at a friend's recommendation since I was in the area. I just started working with a personal trainer and need to increase my muscle mass but am still pretty new to weightlifting and nutrition in this arena (I teach yoga and am super bendy but can't squat to save my life). Fangyi took all my measurements via the InBody Test (?) machine and Mei sat down with me to show me what looks good and where I can improve. I felt so taken care of and also left with a better understanding of what I need to work on. This was my first time ever stepping into a Nutrishop and noticed that this location had a new management banner outside the store. My roommate recommended visiting here for workout products and getting a body composition scan baseline of myself. Honestly I'm not the best in shape person, nor do I workout on the daily, but I have to say.. this place gave me the best experience I never would have expected! Upon entry, I was greeted a woman by the name of Mei, who was super friendly and down to earth. My boyfriend and I wanted to get a free -InBody analysis as reference for the new year, and goals for a healthy future. I have to say, Mei was so considerate and patient knowing that we weren't familiar with the machine; she explained to us how to input our personal stats and answered any questions we had regarding our long term workout goals/regimen. We were then greeted by another male, I believe his name was Fengyi (sorry if I misspelled this) who took the extra effort to explain our print out results in detail. I learned so much about BMI, visceral fat, lean body mass, water weight, %body fat, and much more. He also told us which areas were needed for improvement, which areas doing well, and which parts were just average. I was very happy with the amount of time he invested to getting to know us on a one and one basis, which made me more inclined to refer my friends to this place. Both these employees are interested in what you like and dislike, which makes me very satisfied as a customer. They respect your decisions without judgement of your personal views on fitness, which is absolutely terrific. I appreciate most how they interact with customers because they genuinely care about healthy lives long term. Plus, They offer a ton of products /resources that cater to each person's workout goal, so this place is perfect for those seeking new things to check out. Overall-- 10/10 would recommend!
