Needed some supplements and decided to stop by this Nutrishop location. Val helped me out and was super welcoming and friendly. He mentioned he just started working there recently, but you honestly couldn't tell. He was very knowledgeable, and I could tell he was proactive about learning.. he even had notes on the different products that he was reviewing. I also messaged their Instagram before coming in to see if the supplements I needed were in stock, and they responded really quickly and let me know they had everything I was looking for. Overall, great customer service both online and in-store. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Went in to get some pre and my boy Bobby hooked a brother up with some bomb Merk. Love his energy. Will come back

Excellent experience! I arrived feeling guilty about showing up right before closing time but felt ok knowing exactly what I was looking for. Alex was there and I explained that I sadly had a higher than normal caffeine tolerance and needed something strong. Immediately sold me on a pre-workout called Mother Bucker. Alex!!! Super friendly, helpful and very informative. Discussed ingredients and pointed things out I wouldn't have thought to ask about. No sales pitch and even gave me a couple samples to try out. Nutrishop, just got themselves a new, loyal customer. I cannot recommend them enough!! read more

Love visiting this Nutrishop! They are always having some deals and discounts. Purchased the Stance BCAA and the RYSE preworkout, both pretty good products, gives great energy! They also have a Inbody machine where you can measure your weight and body fat! Shoutout to Alex, Rodrigo, and Alyssa for always being helpful during my visits! read more

The shop has a lot of variety when it comes to supplements. Alex and the nutrishop team are warm and welcoming. They know their facts when it comes to their products. I would recommend visiting the shop when it comes to meeting fitness and health goals. read more

This is a bad location. Alejandro sales Rep or whatever title he claims to be is very rude. He's arrogant and has the worst customer service. He's been rude to me before and to my significant other recently. I don't complain often on Yelp, but if it's absolutely necessary and if you're treated badly, then I will share my experience. read more

2019 is a new year, and I wanted a new me! This year I wanted to get more toned and lose some stubborn belly fat. After trying grocery store brands of protein powders, I just couldn't continue to use those due to the taste. A friend recommended Nutrishop to me, and since this is close to me, I decided to stop by. I was pleasantly surprised! Fangyi and another employee were both really friendly and took the time to explain the different options they had. I got a sample of their Pro7ein Synthesis in Gourmet Chocolate and was hooked. It tasted good, and has 34 g of protein per serving. They also had other great products including a vegetable fruit supplement, BCAA (branched chain amino acids), protein bars like Quest, and cold drinks in the fridge like Bang. The employees are well versed in their products and will gladly explain the differences between all the different types of protein powders. They also have a machine for free body scans to measure your % body fat, weight, % body water, how symmetric you are, and more. It was fairly quick and most importantly free. It seems to be a good way to track your progress. This Nutrishop has great customer service and a great selection of products. read more

First time coming to an actual supplement store and I was pleasantly greeted by Mei. Fangyi had me try out different flavors of BCAA and helped me pick out which supplements I need to fuel my day after using their InBody machine. I had my body fat measured about 2 weeks ago and was surprised that I had lost 3 pounds of fat! The supplement pictured is highly recommended because there's not added sugar content like other brands and the taste is amazing! Will definitely be back for all my supplement needs! Thanks guys! read more

Alex has been amazing trying to find the right product, always helpful and has a great attitude. I recommend this store to everyone that I know, convenient location and helpful staff. They do go above and beyond to help everyone they can with helpful advice. read more

I'll give this place 4 stars even though I only come here to pick up my meal preps. This is one of the locations that the meal prep business called $5 Dollar Meals delivers to for a weekly pickup. I always go on Sundays to pickup my meal preps. Whenever I go there usually isn't anyone there except the worker which is usually the same guy every Sunday. Very nice and courteous. Selection of supplements is pretty good so if you're looking for some good stuff, I would recommend coming here! read more

I came in and Alex was a huge help! i had no idea what to find in a pre work out and he helped conquer every concern i had. I got a shaker bottle and some amazing tasting pre workout! Will definitely be back more! read more

I have not been taking supplements since after college. Only been coming back for about 2 months. Was referred to here by a friend who swears by their products. Came in for the first time today and had a great feeling about this place. Staffs were very friendly. Much more helpful than other nutritional stores I used to go. They also have a machine that basically analyze your body composition. I feel like going into a wellness store rather than simply a nutritional store. Spent 30 minutes talking to the new owner and apparently this place just went under new ownership. The new owners also prepared a customized meal plan free of charge for me. I would definitely come back to this place! read more

Fangy and May run one of the best vitamin/supplement shop that I have been/ Just recently started coming here, Great place to get your supplements and always have great deals going on. You can also expect great customer service. You're greeted with a smile and the store rep always makes sure to explain each product thoroughly and answer all your questions. I would also recommend signing up for their rewards program and for email discounts. Support your local business! read more

I been to only 1 Nutrishop in my life and that was about 3 years ago...During that time I had just joined CrossFit and they had a representative from Nutrishop come by to advertise. I thought...Hey? Maybe I can learn a few things here and there about How to Live a Healthy Lifestyle...As soon as I stepped in...I stepped out, I didn't feel welcomed and I felt so out of place.... Fast Forward 3 Years Later...I decided to get back into working out and such...I decided to try this again...I decided to drop by this branch on my way home to check some products out and see what knowledge I can gain...Man Oh Man, the owners were amazing! They were giving details about not just the products itself, but they explained what will help me and how my current body situation is. They were so nice and did not pressure me at all!!! Another customer entered the shop and they were still able assist both of us with their full attention! Definitely my TO GO spot! read more

Under new management! And I'm loving it. Free inbody machine to help track your progress. The owners are super nice and knowledgeable about the products! Highly recommend for all your nutrition needs. Parking is pretty easy for the most part since the plaza doesn't get too busy. Place is well kept and clean. Full stock of all the products: fridge for the pre-workout drinks, protein drinks ready for you ice cold. Also great selection of protein powders, pre workout powders , and other nutritional powders. Ask for samples if you want, owners are nice and will help you out! They also have the protein cookies and protein bars if you like solid protein things....and I heard they just got this shipment of microwaveable brownies. New year. New goals. New supps. New owner. To be frank, I buy most of my supplements online, but once in a blue moon, I will stop by a brick & mortar store and check out what's new. Driving by this Nutrishop, I saw a banner out front that said that the store was under new ownership. This is a good sign, as owners who care to advertise that they're taking over a business, means well. And man, was I right. The new management (Fangyi & Mei) was as helpful as anyone managing a nutrition shop can be! One thing that'll keep me coming back on a regular basis is their Inbody body composition analyzer, which is WAY more accurate and detailed than your normal calipers and electronic BF analyzers. Tbh, Fangyi was gassin' me up when he was going over my body composition with me; not sure if this was a sales technique or not, but I did walk out with an overkill-of-a-preworkout and some of the best tasting BCAAs I've ever had (per the owner's recommendation; he gave me a sample, which ended up selling me). Just for the Inbody body composition analyzer alone, I will be back on a regular basis, along with some friends who think they can beat MY Inbody score of 91 (lolol). If you're considering some new supplements, at least drop by for a body analysis! Thanks Fangyi & Mei! read more

I swung by here at a friend's recommendation since I was in the area. I just started working with a personal trainer and need to increase my muscle mass but am still pretty new to weightlifting and nutrition in this arena (I teach yoga and am super bendy but can't squat to save my life). Fangyi took all my measurements via the InBody Test (?) machine and Mei sat down with me to show me what looks good and where I can improve. I felt so taken care of and also left with a better understanding of what I need to work on. Planning on coming back to get more recommendations-- these guys know their stuff and have quality products. So helpful for a newbie like me. I'll be back! read more

I've been wanting to try a new pre-workout, but I feel like a lot of them are junk nowadays and it's hard to find a good one that I like. I haven't taken pre-workout in a while and have kind of fallen out of the supplement game. So it was nice that when I came to this location, a guy named Alex was working and was very knowledgeable with all of the products that they had asked him about five different pre-workouts and he told me the benefits and cons of each of them, after talking with him for about 15 minutes can you help me pick out the product that was gonna be best for me for what I'm trying to do. Not only was he very knowledgeable. He was very nice and made me feel comfortable about the whole situation I didn't feel pressured whatsoever, and he even offered to let me try a few samples of other products that I might like. excited to give this pre-workout a shot and I will definitely be back to this location in the future! read more

This was my first time ever stepping into a Nutrishop and noticed that this location had a new management banner outside the store. My roommate recommended visiting here for workout products and getting a body composition scan baseline of myself. Honestly I'm not the best in shape person, nor do I workout on the daily, but I have to say.. this place gave me the best experience I never would have expected! Upon entry, I was greeted a woman by the name of Mei, who was super friendly and down to earth. My boyfriend and I wanted to get a free -InBody analysis as reference for the new year, and goals for a healthy future. I have to say, Mei was so considerate and patient knowing that we weren't familiar with the machine; she explained to us how to input our personal stats and answered any questions we had regarding our long term workout goals/regimen. We were then greeted by another male, I believe his name was Fengyi (sorry if I misspelled this) who took the extra effort to explain our print out results in detail. I learned so much about BMI, visceral fat, lean body mass, water weight, %body fat, and much more. He also told us which areas were needed for improvement, which areas doing well, and which parts were just average. I was very happy with the amount of time he invested to getting to know us on a one and one basis, which made me more inclined to refer my friends to this place. Both these employees are interested in what you like and dislike, which makes me very satisfied as a customer. They respect your decisions without judgement of your personal views on fitness, which is absolutely terrific. I appreciate most how they interact with customers because they genuinely care about healthy lives long term. Plus, They offer a ton of products /resources that cater to each person's workout goal, so this place is perfect for those seeking new things to check out. Overall-- 10/10 would recommend! Mei and Fengyi are great new business owners who are dedicated to their customers, I was truly pleased with my visit to the GG location, and would return to see my improvement within the next few weeks-months. Thanks so much for your help, tips, advice and customer service! read more

Well, safe to say I no longer have to go to my closest Nutrishop in Monterey Park. I would much rather make the trip down here and spend time with the AMAZING STAFF! Personable and actually genuinely want to help you improve your goals and help you reach them. Their prices are ASTOUNDING and plus OC tax over LA tax any day. They'll even hook you up with a much nicer shaker bottle or tee. Hands down love this place and everything that it stands for. The owners are super involved and want the best for YOU. They will go out of the way to help you plan it out, find the steps to take to get there, find the supplements needed to reach those goals, and then on top of it all...send you past your goals! Forever on Team Nutrishop GG! Thank you guys and hope to see you soon for a refill! read more

when I first walked into the store I was amazed by how everything was perfectly aligned. I had new goals so I thought I'd start them off here. The owners are very knowledgeable about the supplements you need and they will help you along the process. Great owners. Great prices. Awesome shop with a variety of supplements to meet your needs. I recommend this Nutrishop in Garden Grove! Also, I got a free body scan which allowed me to see the composition of my body. It told me how much fat was in my body, my muscle mass, water weight, and all the other good stuff that you need to know about your body in order to keep track of your goals. If you would like to know more about your body composition, this Nutrishop should be first on your stop list. Awesome shop! read more

I am a Nutrishop fan but this store is the best, the owner would personally help you to find the best way to reach your goals and they have many other interesting resources like food delivery services, body scanning, and accessories that every time we visit it doesn't feel like shopping, it feels like get together with friends with the same interests.... Oh! And they are kids and pets friendly too. read more

Let me start by stating that even after moving to Arizona for 4 years I would still have my brother go into nutrishop and ship me out my supplements. The first time I walked in there was unlike any other wellness store (gnc, vitashoppe, etc..) where they push their most expensive supplements on you to make commission with no regards for your personal health. The guys and girls at nutrishop help you to choose the supplements that will work best for your needs & even go as far as getting you on a diet plan. All representatives I have encountered have been extremely knowledgeable and never made me feel pressured into anything like other stores have. The companies they contract with are top of the line and don't put all the unknown junk into their supplements that is becoming the norm these days. A few supplements that have worked well for me are: -Protein Synthesis, which is a whey protein. Chocolate is recommended but Vanilla is also good for mixing into fruit smoothies. -Glutacor, which is glutamine and comes flavorless. It's really helps with muscle recovery. -C4, which is a pre work out. Really gets you pumped for the gym. I have tried many flavors and the only one I do not recommend is fruit punch. -Various KreAlkalyns. I have tried a few different products, however each had different ingredients for different outcomes. This is where their knowledge really helps! All in all, Nutrishop will continue to get my business and a 5 star rating. Just wish they would start shipping products out, as their brands are hard to find elsewhere. read more
