    Gyro Sandwich Combination Meal
    Susie G.

Visited the establishment and was immediately greeted by the workers. They were kind, patient, and answered questions about the menu. I ordered the gyro sandwich meal, which included a side (fries) and a drink! The meal was delicious and provided nice portions. I highly recommend visiting here if you're craving a quality gyro sandwich meal!

Had to drop someone off at SeaTac and planned to stop at seahurst park afterwards. Checked out the restaurants in between and found this place. It was great. The falafels and fries were piping hot and amazing. One kid adored their chicken wrap and one kid wasn't fussy about it (but it was amazing when I got to eat it as I traded my plain pitas for it). Two out of three of us want to go back again!

Greek fries and Lamb & Beef Gyro

TLDR: imo this place is overrated, fries were bad and the gyro was mid. I came here on a Saturday around noon due to being in the area, and saw this place had good reviews. Parking was super easy to find due to the parking lot right nearby, and the restaurant was empty. I ordered the lamb and beef gyro with Greek fries. The gyro was packed with tons of veggie, and the meat was salty, which would usually be balanced by the veggies. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure they folded my gyro the wrong direction since the front half was all veggies and the back was all meat. The fries though, were a clear dissapointment. They were not crisp, and delivered a starchy feel to the mouth reminiscent of frozen fries. They were also not seasoned well, turning out quite bland even with the abundant feta cheese and sauce on top of the fries. Overall, I was pretty dissapointed and very likely won't come back here again. It's possible my experience was just an outlier though, since people seem to like this place

My wife and I were craving gyros and this was the first place that popped up on Yelp. One of the things that stood out to me about their meal is the large quantity; I had ordered the beef and lamb gyro, which came with fries and a canned soda. They gave a generous amount of fries on the side and a good amount of protein in their gyro. I highly recommend lathering your gyro with their tzatziki sauce to amplify the eating experience. Their protein are seasoned nicely, and the pita is light; the pita doesn't taste cheap and compliments well with the soaking in all the juices of the meats that it is holding together. Their baba ganush is fine, but goes hard on the olive oil. Baklava is heavy on the honey/syrup; however the texture of it meets my expectations of what baklava should feel like in each bite. Menu prices are reasonable. Friendly and speedy staff; plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I'll come back again very soon!

I've been in search for a good Mediterranean restaurant for about a month now. I'm new to the area so I have been all over! I finally found this hidden gem! Fast and friendly service! Lots of choices! The chicken plate was flavorful, tender and delicious! The salad had these little pickles that were amazing! The location is a bit tricky but it's almost on the corner so it's great for people watching! There's a very casual ambiance with almost a take out feel to it. They have several grocery store items that are common to a Mediterranean market which really affects the ambiance. As I looked out the window, I could almost imagine some potted plants to make me feel as if I was really there! Some art of the region might boost it a notch up to justify pricing, which was a bit on the high side.

    No garlic

I used to LoVE this place....but not now. I order the snack gyro garlic fries and the mixed kabob plate. I substitute fries for hummus. This time, I knew when I received my plate, it was not hummus. It was watery. I had a friend try it and it was baba ganoush (sp?) I am allergic to eggplant. It was on everything. My friend said the meat was barely chewable. It was dry. Many meat had fat on it, not just a little but most of the chunk. The cooked veg was nowhere but there was a very limp soggy salad with too many pickles in it. The fries had no garlic. I tried calling but was told he did put hummus in it, even though he though I was at least 2 other customers. One with kids and one who wore glasses. I am neither those people described but apparently he had hummus issues with them as well. He gave me eggplant. I know what hummus is. I know texture.

Sad to give it such a low rating. It's been a few years since I've had this place. I got a gyro salad which was generously packed. The whole dish did not taste like mediterranean food at all. The lamb gyro meat was not seasoned well. Thle hummus did not taste like hummus. I eat fast and it took me a while to finish. My sister got a chicken hummus dish and she felt the same. She didn't even finish her meal.

    Turkish coffee!
    Ylloh H.

Food: delicious! The kofta kebab wrapped in a grilled pita with veggies was flavourful and enjoyable. It's a good size so you don't need a side with it unless you want to try other items. I also wanted to try the Turkish coffee and it was a great experience trying coffee with very deep and rich flavors. I can't quite describe the flavors but it's a unique taste and would definitely get it again. Because of the way it is made all the spices are at the bottom! Service: very friendly! It was off rush hour so we got to have a conversation and I liked that! He was smiling the entire time so very welcoming! Ambiance: not much decoration but it is spacious enough for you to bring your friends or just east alone! Definitely recommend this place!

Got a combo meal but ended up paying more then I would have paid if I got 3 items individually. Asked for ketchup for the food and he gave only 3 packets and he said I'm not giving anymore. I got 3 dishes and he gave 3 packets of ketchup.

Lamb and beef plate w/ gyro fries

Ordered the beef lamb plate and gyro fries on Uber eats this evening. I'm always skeptical how the food will be when ordering from Uber eats but the food was still hot and delicious! The beef lamb combo was tender and flavorful. The portion was large that I have enough for lunch tomorrow. I also enjoyed the salad, hummus, and pita. Will definitely order again without hesitation.

We live in Seattle but love going to Burien to meet our Tacoma fam. Nice mid-way point and lots of great eats. We've now added Snack Gyro to our list because the food was chock full of the good stuff. Spices, herbs, a little love sprinkled in. I had a falafel wrap and my boo had chicken. We shared the Greek fries which were done right sexy. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt. We noticed lots of delivery drivers and other working folks were stopping by, they know the secret. Limited outdoor seating but lots inside.

Ordered their gyro fries (gyros stuffed with fries) about twice a month. The food never stood out for taste, but I wanted to support a local ethnic business. Today, I ordered my usual of 3 of these special gyros online for takeout which was $40 after tax. Drove over to pick up and then brought the food back home. Upon opening the containers, it was obvious that they had given me regular gyros that come with lettuce and onions, costing a dollar less. Their gyros stuffed with fries only come with the meat, sauce, and fries. Called Jafra and recognized the voice as the same guy who manned the front counter. He identified himself as the owner and I heard him yelling at someone in another language that I could guess was in the kitchen. He told me to come back and offered a medium fries for free or $5 discount. I drove back the 15 minutes and he inspected the gyros in the container. He actually fingered through the lettuce and onions, finding 3 pieces of fries. He looked at me grinning with his big teeth and said that these were what I ordered. The owner ignored the evidence on his website, kiosk at the front, and menus that show that Jafra's gyro fries show a gyro with only meat, sauce, and stuffed with fries. He lied that there was an option to select no lettuce and no onions when ordering and tried to blame what happened on me. He had the gyros remade by taking out the visible lettuce and onions while adding some soggy fries. Bits of onion and lettuce were still in the 3 gyros. He also went back on his word to give a discount despite my driving back and forth because of their mistake. I asked him for a couple donuts that are $2.50 a piece and he tried to charge me for them. He haggled and said he'd give me one for free for the inconvenience. This is not someone who cares about customers or correcting something that went wrong. A business owner like that doesn't deserve your hard earned money.

For some reason I tried it again today and was once again disappointed. Placed an online order to go: Greek fries and a side of gyro meat to throw on top, since sandwiches and bowls are $13-$16! Insane. I saw the bowls, they're not large. Not a great deal by any stretch, but that's lunch hour in Seattle I guess. The fries were soggy, barely any feta on top, and the "gyro" meat is just freakin' weird. It tastes like lamb meatballs. Not at all what I expected. On top of this, my order was not ready and I ended up waiting 15 minutes. Three people in line in front of me and three behind, but just one guy behind the counter taking and prepping orders, tickets popping out of the machine left and right until he cried uncle for some help. "Wow it got busy fast, went from no orders to backed up!" Yeah dude, it's 12:15. People get off at 12, call it in, take a piss and start walking to the restaurant, just like every lunch rush every day in a busy commercial core. I also dislike having to wait in line for a pickup order. I'm in a hurry. If you can't accommodate, I can go somewhere else. Just leave my order out! I did grab a jar of grilled preserved lemons to take home. Not sure what to use them for but they look delicious. All in all, not great, again.
