These lugs torque to 100 ft.lbs.per factory specs. It took a 24 inch bar just get them loose so I could re-torque them to specs. Do you think that you would be able to get them loose if you had to do it beside the road somewhere? By the way it failed inspection for some play in the passenger front hub which is fair enough but if they think that I would let them work on something more involved with my vehicle when they can't even do a tire rotation properly they have lost their mind. Never again..

I have had issue after issue with the service department. It started with breaking my drip pan/skid…read moreplate. I got under the car to check their work and noticed that the front lip of my drip pan was in danger of breaking clean across the front lip. I immediately realized that the service technician was taking the bolts off both sides and letting the pan hang while they accessed the oil filter and drain plug. Since plastic can't handle that type of pressure it was cracking. I have no j.b. weld or anything to fix this. The next oil change, it was broken completely. They checked my cabin filter but didn't have any in stock to sell me. On my way home I stopped and bought a cabin filter, as I accessed the cabin filter I realized every single tab that holds the door shut was broke except 1. Now I show up and they say they don't have a scheduled service for my vehicle. When I get the confirmation they say "You might have an 11 o'clock but I don't". I ask is there a better way to make an appointment, they say call. I'll update this review. Check the work that has been done to your vehicle. Technicians are counting on the fact that you will not get under the vehicle to check the work done.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Scott, the General Manager, for providing truly exceptional…read morecustomer service. After seeing my search for a vehicle on social media, Scott personally reached out to see how he could help. I told him what I was interested in, and instead of simply sending me information from a listing, he actually took the time to test drive the vehicle himself so he could give me detailed, firsthand feedback about its condition and how it drove. In all of my experiences shopping for vehicles, this level of service is something I have never encountered before. His willingness to go out of his way to help and provide honest information made a huge impression on me. It showed that he genuinely cared about helping me make an informed decision rather than just making a sale. Customer service like this is rare, and Scott went above and beyond every expectation. I truly appreciate the time and effort he put into helping me during my vehicle search.

We've taken my car (that we bought new) to have a few minor things done and the cost was significantly better than if we had taken it to the dealership. Don't take your vehicle to Marlow for inspection or service. The falsely failed my less than 2…read moreyear old wrangler saying it had excessively rusted rotors. Rotors rust, they are bare metal and where the pads don't touch there will be rust. This wrangler was purchased new new the spring of 2025. If rotors put so badly in Virginia weather that they will not pass inspection then it's a part material defect, covered under warranty. Marlow Motor Company is a dirty dealer who tried to get me to pay them to put new rotors on when they are not needed. The Virginia state police will be notified once it is in a different shop for inspection and Marlow motors will hopefully have their license to do inspections revoked. Avoid this dealer and service department, they are crooked!!! effective operation, fluid leaks, visible damage, excessive wear, and obvious defects in components. Surface rust: Light, even surface rust on rotors (common after sitting) that does not affect pad contact or braking performance is routinely tolerated. Rotors often clean up after a few brake applications. Failure conditions: Inspection failure is likely when rust results in any of the following: Deep pitting, grooving, or severe corrosion that compromises rotor thickness or structural integrity. Flaking or spalling metal creating uneven braking, severe pulsation, or loss of braking efficiency. Rusted-through rotors or broken/cracked rotor material. Any condition that produces clearly reduced stopping ability or potential for sudden brake failure. Observable signs inspectors will act on: Thin or uneven brake pads due to rotor damage. Severe rust visible through wheel openings, with loose or detached fragments. Loud grinding, severe pulsation, or inability to actuate the brakes during an operational check. Practical outcomes: Minor surface rust -- pass. Significant corrosion visible during the inspection or causing poor braking -- fail; inspector will issue a rejection specifying the defect. Repair options: resurfacing (if within service limits), rotor replacement, pad replacement, and addressing seized calipers or rusted mounting hardware.

I had been looking for a specific car for months--specifically, a 09-14 Toyota Corolla Matrix. My brother and I made road trips out of it, often driving up to three hours each way to look at a prospect only to find that the seller had withheld important information. It's good we enjoy road trips, but we're old men, and fuel is expensive. More importantly, my need was becoming urgent. I had just given up hope and was on my way to look at a regular Corolla, which I would probably have purchased when I saw the SNS Cars, Inc. advertisement for a 2010 Matrix on CarGurus. I left a message but didn't expect a reply in time to keep from probably buying this other car. To my surprise, Adel replied quickly, and we discussed the car on the phone. He was straightforward to talk to. I was clear about my auto search history and the kinds of things I'd seen, and I asked him if it was worth my time to drive over two hours to look at his car. He assured me it was, and he was right. The car is in very good condition, inside and out. We took it for a test drive and looked it over with a critical eye. The buying process was low-key and easy. We quickly agreed on terms and sealed the deal. I was surprised that Adel could register the car and provide permanent metal license plates and stickers right then and there. There was a brief period when the check engine light came on, and it went away. I called Adel and asked him for his advice. I suggested that I was going to be taking the car to my regular mechanic for routine service and they could review the issue there. Even though the warranty he offers requires me to bring the car to him, he quickly and happily agreed that he would help make it right. Some Google research indicates it has to do with, of all things, the gas cap! The light cleared on its own when I refilled the tank. Go figure. It was good to know that SNS Cars stands behind the sale. If you go there and buy a car, negotiate for a delicious cheesesteak sandwich from his wife's food truck if it's not out at another site!
