She was friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Our drinks stayed full, she checked on us at just the right times, and she had a great attitude the whole meal. It's always nice when you can tell someone genuinely enjoys their job and cares about their customers. The food was great, but Lexi's service definitely made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back!

Even though it was just the two of us this time, we were seated right away. As the hostess led us to a table in the back, we were pleasantly surprised to see that Erin was our server again. She's upbeat, friendly, and always welcoming with a smile. Erin does an excellent job staying attentive and making sure guests feel taken care of throughout the meal. We started brunch with coffee and water while looking over the menu. My wife ordered the Brussels and Eggs, and I went with the Belgian waffle with a side of hash browns. Our food arrived within about 15 minutes, and everything was fresh, hot, and very enjoyable. The service was phenomenal. Erin checked on us several times during our visit without ever being overbearing, which really added to the experience. After two great visits in less than a week, I think we may have found our new go-to brunch spot.

What an amazing time I had here with my mom, dad, and kids! We parked and us 5 (including me) went…read moreinside. We saw that it had a very industrial atmosphere with writing all over the walls (which were peoples names, and it makes a creative restaurant idea!). We went up to the hostess wearing an America 250 shirt and said we wanted a table for 5. She was very friendly and kindly guided us to our table. We The menu was large, and had some very funny names like "Toot Toot, Here Comes Some Fruit!" and "Why The French Hate Us." For my drink, I went with coffee. I added some cream and sugar with the help of my daughter, and it tasted very sweet and delicious. For my breakfast, I went with the Why The French Hate Us. It is a croissant stuffed with sausage and cheddar cheese, with gravy. While I was waiting for my food, my mom (the kids paternal grandma) decided that they would put these teal cardboard crowns on my dad and me. When we put it on, a young kid complimented our crowns. We said it was for an early fathers day breakfast. Even though it was Juneteenth. Which suprisingly this place was still open. When my Why The French Hate Us came out, the sausage was juicy and piping hot. The croissant was perfectly flaky and the eggs were perfectly cooked.

From the minute I stepped up to their door I was greeted by a hilarious sign outside their door, then walked in to an urban hip hop graffiti style entryway which was cool. The menu itself was clever and tbh downright hilarious, hats off to whoever made it! I tried the starchy & cluck breakfast sandwich. I really wish I could say I liked it because I enjoyed the whole vibe of the restaurant but I didn't like the waffle. The waffle was subpar and tasted like a waffle from a hotel continental breakfast bar, but the chicken was amazing. I'll give it a second chance at some point because I liked everything about this place except the waffle.

We had business in this area so the family and I decided to stop for breakfast after. After looking…read moreup restaurants online since we were unfamiliar with this area, we chose Sunny Street Cafe based on photos we saw. It was pretty busy for a Friday morning but it was the day before a holiday so I'm sure a lot of people were off work. It took about 20 minutes to be seated. After getting our drinks and putting our order in, we didn't see our server again. It took a very long time to get our food, well over 30 minutes. The restaurant was extremely warm. With temps being in the heat advisory range, their air conditioning seemed to be struggling to keep the restaurant cool. When we finally got our food, my daughter who only ordered a stack of pancakes had to wait even longer to get her food. A stack included 4 good sized pancakes which she enjoyed. I ordered the Our Famous Hearty breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and chicken sausage. I also upgraded to the Key Lime blueberry pancakes. They were my absolute favorite and a must try. I didn't think I would like the chicken sausage based on looks but they were pretty good as well. However, my scrambled eggs and hash browns were completely cold. I'm not one to send back food but I couldn't eat them. She did quickly replace them. My other daughter ordered the Waffle combo with eggs fried hard and a side of fruit. She enjoyed her food as well. My husband ordered the Meat Lovers breakfast with sourdough toast and over easy eggs. He said it was good. The server dropped our bill off not long after we received our food and then we never saw her again like before. We needed to go boxes so my husband went to the counter to ask for some. When he tried to get the attention by saying excuse me to the person working the counter, she looked at him and walked away. So he said excuse me again and she came and helped him with to go boxes. Overall, the majority of the food we had was really good. The hospitality and service was a bit lacking.
