This is the worst smoothie king in the entire franchise. They can never get your order right, you can order online, but they're not gonna address your order till you get to the store and then your stuff waiting for another 15 to 20 minutes for customers who have ordered after you. You order a 44 ounce smoothie and they put only 32 ounces in your 44 ounce cup. Not to mention the cups break, I've had cups break like three times in the last month. Obviously, they've changed the manufacturing of the cup to cost less which is resulting in breakage. And if you order at the location, you're likely to wait because the employee is out, chatting up chicks versus in the store taking orders. He won't even use the intercom to take your order because he's busy chatting up girls. Not to mention the pungent smell of marijuana. Honestly, the franchise should be revoked. read more

I have been going to this location for years and I received a book of coupons in the mail. I used all my coupons at this location because I couldn't use them anywhere else. I had one coupon left and the workers said they will not honor my coupon because it's not orange or purple but it's still valid until June 30th. They are making up rules and I've never presented a coupon to a company and not have it honored especially if it's still valid. Poor experience and I won't be coming back to this location anymore. Every single time I come to this location ONLY the employees say they are "closed" (early) or the "credit card machine is down" or the "power went out"... It's always an ex cause to be lazy. I should have given this experience a zero for stars, because even though it's a Friday and they should be open at 8 AM, no one visible was inside the store at 9:08am. I went to the drive-through, tried to place an order, said hello several times, and nothing. I tried going through the drive thru again, to no avail. This smoothie king is walking distance from my home and I will never return. I forgot why I hadn't been here in so long, but sure enough the girl today reminded me. Slowest smoothie king ever. They are not efficient at all. The guy cashiers don't know what they are doing and with a 3-4 person staff there is always one person making smoothies. This Smoothie King is terrible. None of their people are on the same page. All websites say they are open until 9pm. I go through the drive through at 8:45pm and no one responds. I walk in and they tell me the drive-in is closed and closes at 8:50. So next time I go in the store at 8:50pm they tell me they are closed and the whole store closes at 8:50pm, even though they are making a smoothie for a guy in from of me. I would not recommend going to this location however I might have just got unlucky with the staff that was working there because the two employees had ZERO clue in what they were doing. I was in the drive thru and I tried using my app for a BOGO. The employee said he didn't know about that so he went to get his manager. When she got there she took my phone and went to scan it at the register but she scanned the wrong one and then said there's nothing she can do about it. She told me numerous times she just started and that she didn't know what she was doing but that doesn't make sense considering she was the manager. They never resolved the issue and couldn't understand what they were doing so they just gave them to us for free, thinking they charged us. I just had a very bad experience. I got there at 8:40 pm, knowing they close at 9. All the lights in the drive thru and store were on. No one would respond to me at the speaker after a few minutes so I drove up to the window and someone eventually saw me and told me they were closed bc of restocking. They aren't quite as hip and trendy as the newcomers with their ingredient de jour concoctions, but, I give props to Smoothie King as one of the originals in this niche. They not only have significant staying power but they've amassed a large footprint too. Let's see how many of these overnight sensation juiceries are still around in one year, five years or 10 years. And they eventually come around to making themselves competitive and adjusting to consumer tastes - they now have smoothies with kale, Greek yogurt, green tea, etc... In my experience, Smoothie King has always been mediocre. There's nothing innately terrible about Smoothie King. It's simply not a good value. Almost $5 for a subpar smoothie? Why did my yogurt smoothie have 400 mg of sodium? Why does the Hulk, a smoothie aimed at those aiming to get in shape, have pecan ice cream in it? Why do all the smoothies have so many carbs, and, for that matter, why are they all sweetened? If you're making a smoothie out of nothing but ice, juice, and fruit, why would you need to sweeten it? Why do you have to get it sweetened with honey? The employees are teenagers, as to be expected, but they're not as professional or customer-oriented as those in other local establishments. I'm guessing they're not getting paid much? Seriously, when I walked in, one of them was sitting on the counter. My 2nd favorite Smoothie King location!! I'm a huge fan of Smoothie King and not sure what I can say that hasn't been said already... but I'll try! I'm a health freak. I have many reasons for this, but most importantly I suffer from a type of depression that responds really well to proper nutrition and a lot of exercise. So my health is important to me on a lot of levels. In addition, I am passionate about weight lifting. This means I am always finding new ways to get extra protein into my diet, to feed those growing muscles. Yes there are powders and shaker cups to met this goal. But it's not the only important thing. Too many people do not understand its not how ONLY much you eat that matters. Your body (and brain!) need an adequate amount of fat, carbohydrates, and protein in order to function at its best. So while you definitely should avoid saturated fats and refined sugars, you still need healthy fats and carbs in your diet! Unfortunately, like most type A'ers out there, I'm also juggling a ton of stuff all the time - work, family, relationships, more work, etc, just like everyone else. Nearly every day I get so busy that I'm running behind by around lunch... To keep up with eating healthy when I'm starving and have 5 minutes to spare... it is too much for me! This is why I go to Smoothie King all the time! If you just walk in and get any old thing off the menu, you may find it loaded with sugar or any number of bad for you things. But, take just a little longer and you realize that everything can be customized for you. Ask for no added sugar and go with fruit instead. I always add peanut butter, so that I can get healthy fats in and stick to low fat foods otherwise. This location is the jam!
