I ordered a pick up order 20 mins in advance and when I got to the location 10 mins after pick up time the smoothie was not ready. I proceeded to watch the man take orders and fulfill every order before I received mine. When I did receive mine it was not the full cup. I have been 2x now the first time I didn't really like the protein powder taste but now I get it without the powder and it's so good! Smoothies are good and consistent. It's a chain so you kinda know what to expect if you've ever been to a smoothie king anywhere plus it's a little hard ( not idiot proof) to really screw up a smoothie. The customer service has a lot to be determined though, the employees tend to be rude and look like they hate their jobs. It's also frustrating then on more than one occassion they've told me theyre out of mango puree and fruit.... how can you constantly be out of one of the main fruits either puree juice or actual fruit that is in half the smoothie options? read more

This place has some pretty great smoothies, and I appreciate the varying selection of proteins. Make sure to ask which fruits are real/fresh compared to syrups/concentrates if you care about that kind of thing. Always surprised by how big the sizes actually are once I get my drink, so that's a good thing. read more

Customer service is pretty poor here. Today was my third visit. First visit: friendly guy, made some recommendations for me since it was my first time and was really helpful. My drink was great. Second visit: different guy working, acted like I bothered him by simply coming in. He hesitated to stand up from his chair and made fun of me for not knowing what I wanted or what the supps were. (same) drink was not as great. Third visit: (5/4/16) 10:50am, a girl very sleepily looked at me and didn't get up from her chair until I was ready to order and rushed me to decide on what fruit I wanted to add. I felt uncomfortable and my drink tasted bad. Overall if the customer service would have been even slightly decent I would have given 4 stars. But Customer service is terrible here. As a manager elsewhere, I also noticed that for a relatively new place, their windows were very dirty and at 10:50AM I know it wasn't from the same day. Someone didn't do their cleaning duties and it makes it look like the staff couldn't care less. read more

This is not for the San Marcos location. I am only typing here because the kyle store location is not on yelp yet and I hope something can be done. I was looking for something that smoothie king didn't have an I asked an employee for any other stores that sell juice cleansers and other types of organic fresh drinks. The employee was very kind and gave me great recommendations but I soon found out the employee was in trouble for doing so. For helping the customer?! They aren't able to help customers due to the managers in the Kyle location. This is ridiculous! Not happy with how the management treats there employees. read more
