Though I hit the gym regularly, I am somewhat outside of the weightlifting culture but know enough to identify that the guys working here are legit. This conclusion is mostly owing to the coded interchange between my brother and one employee. Employee: "What gym you go to?" Brother: "I'm here on leave." Employee: "How you like them Vibrams?" Brother: "Only way to run--if you know what you're doing." Employee: "Exactly. What are you looking for?" Brother: "What you got?" Employee: "Energy or pump?" Brother: "Pump." Employee: "Ah--" *knowing nod* "pump." He then led my brother to some colored bottles in a cooler, explaining what he preferred and why, as well as what is the most popular formula and why. Overall, eh offered professional customer service, of course, while retaining his manly terseness. My only criticism of Nutrishop is that it might intimidate those who don't know a thing about pump or Vibrams but just want to buy some cheap protein powder (namely me). I'm certain, however, that if one can "(wo)man-up" enough to get his or her butt in the door, Nutrishop will be able to field all your questions and have the products that you're looking for.

The girl working the desk yesterday morning provided poor service, even though my sister and I were the only customers there. When we entered, she was in the back, which I understand since it seemed like a slow morning. However, there was a "Buy One, Get One 20% Off" promotion that my sister and I hoped to use on our smoothies. We ordered together, but she forgot to apply the discount code and couldn't undo the transaction. She seemed really distracted, despite us being the only ones in the store. When our orders were ready, she mixed them up. The smoothies were amazing, but her service definitely was not. read more
