The staff is friendly and for the most part, I like ordering in the app. I usually place the order while I'm on my way yo the store and depending on the time of day, whether I'm coming from the Planet Fitness across the street, or somewhere else, my smoothie is ready when I get there or shortly after. I highly recommend not going in the drive thru to pick up your order, because if there are multiple cars there, it is just a lot faster to go inside. The store is always clean and the staff friendly. The music is a little loud, but it makes sense at this establishment because of the use of blenders. A reason I wouldn't send my child in to get an order would be the unedited music...it can be highly inappropriate, from content to profanity. I recommend doing your own research on what's in the smoothies, especially if you have a sensitivity or intolerance. I feel like most smoothies have banana, but it's often not listed in the description of a smoothie, so if bananaa bother you, ask for a substitution. I replace it with pineapple. read more

I was shopping at Lowe's nearby and it was a hot afternoon, perfect time to stop in for a smoothie on the way home! The smoothie sizes are way too big for me, hubby and I usually split a kiddie size. My go-to is the strawberry banana "Lil' Angel". I find the menu really hard to navigate when you're in the drive thru line. I'm looking all over for the kiddie sizes and I can't find it. I asked where they were on the sign and a girl answered but I couldn't hear or understand her answer. So I just said I'd like the kiddie size of the Angel Food. It's called the Lil' Angel. When I drove around to the pickup window, I had them scan my QR code to get points and he asked if I'd like to redeem my $2 credit. Sure! So not only was my Lil' Angel cool and refreshing, it was at a very affordable price! Love it! read more

To be fair I must compliment this location for reasonably fast and accurate service. I had a negative experience at the Smoothie King in Wylie. That location apparently makes many mistakes in preparation. This Richardson location is conveniently located and has a drive through option. Each time that I have visited the attendant has verified my order and my smoothie has been prepared properly. Thank you. read more

I go here after the gym and it's the perfect refresher! Staff are usually polite and I've never had a rude interaction with them! The smoothies are amazing!! read more

Stopped by this location to get my go to: peanut power plus strawberry. I've been seeing the power eats lately and wanted to give it a try. The most appealing thing I saw at the time was the Turkey egg cloud . Drive thru was quick and easy. My smoothie was made well and was thick. The Turkey egg cloud was something I had to get used to as I continued eating but it was light and filling along with the smoothie . Smoothie king has always been my quick hitter when it comes to healthy fast food . Overall I was satisfied with my visit here . read more

Absolutely love smoothie King oh my goodness I always forget about this place until I go back. I'm totally in love with their strawberry banana smoothie! I ordered this the other day and I will tell you it did not disappoint! There are so many options when it comes to getting smoothies here and the customer service is always great! You can hop in or you can go through the drive-through either or it's perfect! This location is pretty clean on the inside. I absolutely love it. I will definitely be back for my next strawberry and banana smoothie! read more

I love smoothie king because of the cordial and professional staff. The ingredients weren't fresh, though. Quality control didn't seem to be a major focus in the smoothies I bought. The store was generally clean, though. read more

Have to have my "hulk vanilla" with banana turbinado hulk blend and butter pecan ice cream. Traveling to other cities from Houton to Austin to Dallas to Tallahassee, I consistently get good quality and filling smoothies while on the road. This location didn't disappoint. If you like waiting this is the place for you. When this place first opened the service was great. Now for 2 cars in line it takes 10-15 minutes every time. Placing orders ahead is a waste of time, because they are never ready. Wish more people would take pride in their jobs. read more

The staff was so nice to make us an adult smoothie in a kids size for my little girl! Definitely recommend this location!!!!!

I absolutely love Smoothies, and what could possibly be better than the king of smoothies? Smoothie king (not incomprehensibly) furnishes the best in class of the smoothie. If I'm ever seeking to imbibe my favourite obliterated fruit beverage I head here with great alacrity. I can order from the app, customise the pulp out of my bespoke smoothie, then dash madly into the shop and pick it up in a whirl of cloud. I can choose from a plethora of entirely distinct flavour profiles and add anything from protein powder to ice cream and kiwi. The employees are always up to speed on accommodating my ridiculous intake of sugars and unholy salmagundi of fluids. Various dairy options are available as well as sweeteners and protein powders. read more

There recipes are not right. I ordered a pineapple mango lemonade refresher. My mom had been a manger of one for 3 years. I've never ever had anything bad from any smoothie king. This one, my lemonade taste bad. As if something is out of date or not made right. Yall need improvement and better customer service. Very disappointed read more

Not only was my smoothie perfect! But I got greeted with the sweetest smile and bubbly personality at the window! Thanks for making my day Kaitlynn! read more

Easily the worst smoothie I've had. Not only did the smoothie take over 10 mins to be made (I'm the only car in the drive thru btw) but it wasn't even completely blended, not to mention the absolute lack of flavor in this drink. Won't be bringing my business here anymore. read more

Smoothie King - Not blended - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Richardson, Texas

So I been coming to this location for the pass 2 weeks at least twice a week after my gym workout and it's meh. Customer service is sub par, slightly above average except today. Today Henri took our order. We asked about the $5 Friday 32oz special and this dude was rude and have this attitude like he don't want to be there. We asked him what's the special and he mumble and said everything that's not a meal replacement. We was looking around like ok what does that mean. He's like everything without the M. Not friendly or helpful at all. My buddy was pretty steamed like wtf. We come her because of convenience, but after today we might take our business elsewhere. They really need better customer service and knowledgeable employees. Normally I support local businesses and try a few times before I do a review, but this left a bitter taste. read more

I sent my man out to get me one of their delicious açaí bowl, or so i thought, one of the worker there thought it was a good idea to give me a WATER DOWN açaí bowl no ice straight liquid, i'm guessing she was butt hurt on complementing my man about his tattoos and he just ignored her so she proceeded to take it out on our order. Poor food quality! it was never a issue until i sent him, next time i will just go myself because this bowl was just absurd. read more

the service is horrible. they don't say hello. I preorder and always wait. and then when you get here this is your friendly sever with a bonnet. read more

Place was closed almost 2 hours early. Change the times online and on the door with the correct hours.

So, they had no ice. You need ice to make smoothies. So they couldn't make a smoothie. But that's the one thing they do. So, why be open?

Terrible service. Bunch of kids with less energy than a 90 year old. Don't care, don't care to care. Cant get an order right to save their mamas life. Drinks are never right. Their presentation is also less than terrible. How is company shirt dirty? Really? So you're making my drink but you can't dress yourself? Nah. read more

I went to the Smoothie King in Richardson, Texas and my smoothie was chunky and it had no flavor. I go to Smoothie King every weekend and this is the worst smoothie I've ever had. read more

I have visited here over 3 times and the employees are always really friendly. I generally take the drive through so I can't say much for the interior, but their drive through is well optimized with 2 lanes and it is really quick. I would definitely recommend getting an account and downloading the app because they have a lot of good deals and offers on there. read more

This location should be shut down. The smoothies are terrible. Does the blenders even work at this location? Lol

Why is y'all's lights always turned off by 7pm? The amount of times that I could have gone but I would think y'all were closed! The lights are always off inside by 7pm and y'all don't close until 10pm. It's not only at night it's also in the morning, y'all open at 6:30 but the lights are all turned off so it makes it seem as no one is working. This is ridiculous, get your employees in line! Y'all are literally losing money because of this!!! I'll also be filing a complaint with corporate. Y'all need to do some massive hiring cause y'all's employees don't seem to care about y'all's business! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. From the outside it looks clean and new, and inside looked the same. Walked in to 3 employees who did not acknowledge me and 2 customers waiting for their orders inside, with a couple of cars in the drive thru. I had enough time to browse the menu over, grab a cookie and walk it to the register to only stand, and watch the employees before just walking out. Once I walked out, as I was half way out, I heard a employee mention me walking out. I came to your business because it was convenient to where I was and knowing I would overpay for what you have to offer, which I am ok with. But if your employees treat customers as a convenience, you won't be in business long as a franchise owner in that location. Good luck. read more

Second bad experience here. This time, I order online. Arrive two minutes after the time my order is promised. Nope - we have no order for you. Only after I show my phone displaying the order does the staff take action. They disappear to the back room for several minutes and then emerge with my order slip. Once they deliver my order, there is not even an apology for their mistake. Why did I leave these clowns a tip? read more

Drove up at 7:50 p.m. and was told they were no longer accepting orders because of their Labor Day hours. When asked what time they closed, the employee stated 8 p.m. Clearly Smoothie King employees are not staying open until closing time.
