Next thing was the friendly servers. They didn't hover or rush us. Finally after catching up with my friend that I haven't seen in a while, we finally got around to looking at the menu. We came at lunchtime, but I was craving breakfast food. We both ordered iced tea with lemon to drink. My friend ordered the salad sampler and it looked delicious. I ordered the cloud cakes (pancakes) and I declined any side of bacon. Food came out quickly. The pancakes were huge! I almost ate half of them and took the rest to go. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow! My only suggestion is to maybe have a few more offerings to choose from. Also, I would have ordered a popover on the side but didn't see it listed as a choice. I would definitely come back again!

Something got crossed on Yelp and the poor bastard that owns the Happy Lemon in Plano accidentally gets orders for the wrong shop. I know because I did it to him. Sorry! I came in today for an order that I placed online about 10 minutes prior. I come in and there are two employees in the back who never acknowledge me. Additionally the man in the back with glasses on, he had gloves on and wiped his nose with the gloved hand. I immediately canceled my order and walked out. Completely unsanitary. I will not be patronizing this place going forward. I would like to add on another note, this establishment loves to claim that they never have orders or no canceled orders on another platform and that people are just defaming them instead of taking accountability for poor customer service. Everyone can't be trying to defame you if everyone is having similar experiences. I was literally there and canceled my order when I went pick it up.

JuiceLand (Belt Line Rd, Dallas, TX)…read more Stopped by JuiceLand on Belt Line while in Dallas looking for something fresh and healthy, and overall it was a solid experience. We ordered a celery juice and another juice made with beets, carrots, lemon, and ginger. Both were really good--super fresh, clean tasting, and you can tell they're using quality ingredients. The beet/carrot blend in particular had a nice balance and just enough kick from the ginger. The only real downside is the price. Paying close to $25 for two juices feels pretty steep, even for fresh-pressed. It kind of takes away from what would otherwise be a really easy go-to spot. That said, the quality is definitely there. I'd come back if I was in the area and in the mood for juice, but it's probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way for regularly because of the cost.
