smoothie king is king, alright. i've only had two different kinds of smoothies here, and more often than not i order my regular "small green tea tango, no fruit", and boy oh boy, is it heavenly! i get one almost every week, b/c i can't get enough of it. i also really love the seitan strips, and i'm not saying that from a vegetarian's standpoint, b/c i'm not one. i just like seitan a lot. the only thing with this smoothie king location is that the employee turnover rate seems pretty high. it's that, or there are a million employees there, and each time i go, it's just a new batch. some of those kids are more friendly than others though. really though, it's all about the smoothie, and smoothie king is #1 b/c of taste, and the great variety of smoothies they have. read more

I've been looking for a Jamba Juice in this area and came across this smoothie place on Yelp. So I went there today to give it a try, first impression is that it is focused on nutrition. As you walk into the store you see shelves of protein powder, then to your left is a wall menu with an extensive selection of smoothies. I decided to try the Island Impact smoothie, it had pineapple, papaya, mango and a protein blend. The 32 ounce medium-sized drink cost $6.99 and I thought it was pricey but I ordered it anyway. It had a lot of flavor but I thought it was a little sweet. I later read the nutrtion info they gave me and discovered that although they use a protein blend for this drink it only had 1 gram of protein. My search for Jamba Juice continues.... read more

This review is long over due and it must be done. A few months ago me and my boyfriend entered this establishment and was nonchalantly greeted by two young individuals (race will not be disclosed). As we were trying to figure out what we wanted my boyfriend noticed the young male pointing at his belly and nudging the other individual to look at my boyfriend's stomach. What he didn't know is that my boyfriend has a rare congenital disorder called eagle Barrett's syndrome that we eventually informed him after he was caught like a deer in headlights. the young man didn't apologize, Instead he said wow I never heard that and my mom works as an EMT. We looked at each other and shook our heads. We called to file a formal complaint and got the run around so we are yelping instead. Hopefully they read this and implement sensitivity training or educate them on better customer service skills. read more

I love this place. I am always craving smoothies, so the first time I came I was there before they opened just waiting outside. At 10 am the lady went to unlock the door and apologized to me about not helping me sooner! Overall it is expensive but there aren't many smoothie places in the area and the staff is always nice. read more

I went there about a year ago and I asked for a strawberry kiwi smoothie. When the lady was making it, i realized that the only things she put in the blender were water, ice, and artificial flavoring. When I tried it, it tasted very fake and very sweet. Just went and bought their Peanut Power and will never go there again. First of all they don't put enough peanut butter or banana, second they use too much water/ice. Save your money and appetite for somewhere else. read more

They have a large variety of smoothies and protein powders. Service is friendly and somewhat quick. Large portions, it might take you the entire day to drink a large smoothie. Like someone said on this post, Jamba juice is much better. However, we don't have one around here so the alternative isn't that bad but you must have some extra disposable income or be someone's sugar baby. read more

Great place for a healthy drink after a workout session. Lines are never long, parking spaces are always available and the service is excellent! They offer the extras and that's a big deal since not all of the smoothie kings do that.. I always order the pineapple surf and the taste is never different! I just feel that it is not fair that most people get the extra little cup of smoothie. Staff was friendly but the smooth taste funny. I got a mixed berry this time and it tastes like metal plus some vinegar plus some juice. Maybe it is just too hot that everything tastes funny. Well, not to the Starbucks next door though. The smoothie I received was subpar. On top of that, they only do $5 Friday's in September and October (unlike the Manassas location who appears to do it year round?). I forgot to take my phone up to scan the app and most locations that I've been to have canceled the sake abs resubmitted in order to let me get the points but the lady I encountered today did not and seemed a bit standoffish. The smoothies here are okay, kind of watered down unless you get one of the high calorie and sweetened ones which sort of ruins the point if your trying to be healthy. The service is good though and people are very nice. Either they need new recipes or the people making them need better training. read more

Got a smoothie because I thought it would be healthy. There was so much sugar in there I couldn't see straight after. I did not see any fresh kale go in there either. Buyer beware. I never review stuff on here, but I have such a buzz from the the mago kale smoothie, I need something to do. Ok I did not add any of the extra energy. The workers there were nice.
