The Amazon shoppers are such an unpleasant negative presence in the store. They don't actually work…read morethere, as in they aren't customer facing employees and have no customer service demeanor or training. And they aren't customers either. They're a weird 3rd space presence of rude unpleasant bulky obstacles with excessively large carts that linger and block the aisles making it challenging and frustrating to access groceries and move about store. And they act like you are in THEIR way. If modern life wasn't already impersonal enough, they make the grocery shopping experience even more impersonal. They are rude, always have a mean unhappy RBF expression. They have a rushed urgency about them that makes the store feel hectic. It's obvious they don't want to be there. They don't want to talk to you. They're not technically employees that you can ask questions. They park their cart blocking groceries and its not obvious who's huge cart that is to ask them to move. They just bring a negative funk to the whole place. And to top it off most of them are likely not people who would regularly shop at Whole Foods. Amazon has introduced a whole other socioeconomic demographic of non-customers/non-employees present in the store changing the atmosphere overnight. I'd wager there are as many Amazon shoppers as regular customers they are the majority in the store. Its a take over! the store is unwelcoming to regular customers. I am absolutely tired of dodging these mean unhappy non-employee non-customers interfering with my ability to get groceries. Final straw, I'm done with whole foods

The sales lady, while helpful and providing the appearance of credible was over the moon excited for me to buy a homeopathic oral spray. The sales pitch was long. It was tiring. She wore me down and I eventually bought it with the rest of my things. I came later to read that this spray not only contains NO actual medicine but the whole business of homeopathy is largely rejected by the scientific community. So I paid $20 for a placebo. Vitamin Shoppe is supposed to be a specialty store. You expect to pay a premium for selection and information. It should have a section in the store for alternative products that contain no actual ingredients, have zero scientific basis for extraordinary claims and proven ineffective by every legitimate study.

Got an acai bowl, the acai base is frozen and the dry mix-ins just sit on the top, so you eat dry oats and blueberries until the acai base melts and then you have a goopy mess, it can't be dry over frozen, upgrade in blending equipment is needed. Bottom Line: A nice neighborhood market with lots of local brands…read more I've been shopping at Green Valley Market Place since they opened in 2015 so I figured it was time to update my review. What I really like about this locally owned grocery store is all of the local products they carry, the grab-and-go section and incorporation of the Laurer's bakery. The local indulgences that I get most often at Green Valley are their home made crab pretzels, Smith Island cake and Taharka Brothers ice cream. Other local items Green Valley carries that I often buy there are Roma sausages and various Sun of Italy products. The grab-and-go section has lots of comfort foods likes wings, chicken tenders, dips and pizzas. But they also have some salads that are a quick and easy addition to some of the guiltier selections. When Green Valley first opened in Arnold in 2015 I found that I really had to check dates to make sure that items weren't beyond their shelf date. That doesn't seem to be as much of an issue now. Judging by the parking lot I think items turn over faster now. About that parking lot, what I wish was different about Green Valley Market Place is the parking lot, the lack of ramps along the curb and the crowded self-checkout lines. The self-checkout lanes always feel cramped to me but since they are right next to customer service its convenient if you need help with your transaction. Once you get on the curb with your cart you quickly realize that there are only two narrow ramps to get off the curb and into the parking lot. I realize Green Valley isn't fully in control of the parking lot situation but it sure does have some funky patterns. I often use the back entrance to avoid some of the chaos.

GAL‼ I went into Sephora with nothing but a screenshot of a shopping list from my wife and absolutely no idea what I was looking for. Hyacinth immediately stepped in and made the whole experience incredibly easy. She took the time to ask about my wife's skin type, complexion, and what she was trying to achieve before helping me pick out every item. She explained everything in a way that actually made sense and never made me feel out of place. When I got home, my wife was genuinely impressed and said Hyacinth picked exactly what she would have chosen herself. Customer service like this is hard to find. Hyacinth was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about getting everything right. She deserves the recognition--and honestly, a raise. I spent more than I planned! But happy wife=happy life.
