The inside of the store is modern and no interaction other than the self-service console to place your order; the the store was clean except on one of the online order machines had food smudge marks on it. I was greeted when I arrived, but it was perfunctory with no eye contact from the employees. They all seemed too busy to interact with the customers, and only focus on making cookies. The staff was very young, and not much emphasis on customer service. Sorry, Crumble cookies are overrated, and too expensive, and I can make better cookies at home for half the price. This will be my first and last visit to Crumbl.

I actually stumbled across Deadrise Bagels randomly one morning while parking in the shopping…read morecenter. What caught my attention right away was the steady line at the truck. That's usually a good sign. I pulled out my phone, did a quick Google search to see what people were ordering, and decided to give it a shot. There were two gentlemen working the truck and both were very friendly. The guy at the register was talking with customers while orders were being prepared and giving a lot of backstory about the truck and the menu. I'm not sure if he's the owner or partner, but he definitely knew the history and was passionate about what they're building. The vibe felt welcoming and local. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a rosemary sea salt bagel. The bagel choice was actually recommended by a lady waiting on her food, and that ended up being the highlight. The bagel itself was really good, fresh, flavorful, and had a nice texture. The sandwich overall was cool, but I expected a little more. It was $7 for egg and cheese and $9 with bacon. You can't really see the bacon in my photos, and there honestly wasn't much on the sandwich. I spent $14 total for the sandwich and an orange juice, so for that price I just wanted a bit more substance. They don't have a ton of sandwich options, basically bacon or just egg, but they do offer different shmears. In hindsight, I think I might enjoy a bagel with one of the spreads more than the breakfast sandwich. When I try that, I'll definitely update this review. Most people who pulled up were grabbing coffee, but I don't drink coffee so I can't speak on that. I did learn while waiting that they offer a good selection of bagels, including gluten free options, which is a nice touch. Overall, great service, really good bagels, sandwich was just okay for the price. Still worth checking out, especially if you're in the area and want something local and fresh.
