TERRIBLE SERVICE. I reminded the cashier three times that I WANT MY RECEIPT. SHE steadily waited on the drive thru customers while we waited and waited inside. She turned to me and asked 'what did you order??' I stated 'if you give me my receipt I can tell you!@!!!! The gogo bowl was alright, but nothing to write home to mom about. I had a terrible experience at the Smoothie King on University. I ordered two 32oz smoothies via the app, but when I arrived, they didn't have the ingredients to make them. I asked for a refund, but the staff told me they couldn't process it since I ordered through the app and directed me to contact app support. I immediately messaged customer service, but it's been over a week, and I still haven't heard back. I also tried calling the location, but no one answered, and there's no voicemail set up. I'm out both my smoothies and my money. Extremely disappointed--would not recommend this location. Update: It's been weeks since my purchase and have contacted customer service multiple times as suggested in the reply to this review. No one has reached out to me. First Collagen Boost smoothie had no flavor and paid for a second different flavor thinking it was my choice. Second had very little flavor too and tasted like crushed ice and watered down coconut water. This location has a drive-through and I was worried when I came in and saw one person covering both register and window but Tejaenae (sp?) attended to me quickly and gave me a great peanut-power plus smoothie with very friendly service. By far and away the worst Smoothie King location I've ever been to. Almost every single time I order ahead here, without fail, something goes catastrophically wrong. Why not order inside or at the drive thru, you might ask? They're no better at all. The lines are long inside, the drive thru takes an absurdly long amount of time (like 20+ minutes), and here lately, my order has been lost on multiple occasions. It is consistently terrible, and I for the life of me cannot understand how a SK location with so much going for it could fumble the bag as badly as it does. It's a pity that the one closest to me closed over a year ago, as it was usually better managed and maintained. The one in Cary puts this location to shame in every single respect. Management needs a complete overhaul. Worst service and attitude ever! Drive thru, finally got something they could make. "You can move foward." No "please", " thank you", "sorry, we are out of." I would give this place zero stars if possible. Jokes on me I went here again after nearly a year since my last review hoping things had changed and guess what? Not at all. Upon getting some recent dental work I was advised to get a smoothie for lunch due to the novocaine wearing off. I placed my smoothie order on the app and it's important to always give them extra time when ordering online. The app time said 2:05PM pick-up and I got to the establishment at 2:25PM and they hadn't even started the order yet. The service at this location is abysmal. The service is awful all the way around and I am saddened to hear there are so many others like myself who have had bad, unclean, nasty attitude, long wait and can't count cash service. It is a drive for many but if you are ever on Hwy 55, there is an excellent Smoothie King at 1118 Parkside Main Street, Cary. It is across from the Movie Theatre/Bowling Ally and across from Hickory Tavern. All the issues referenced above disappear once you walk in the door. My granddaughter and I just visited. I was going to get her a smoothie prior to going to a tutoring lesson. The women behind the counter were rude, not even speaking when we went in. My granddaughter asked for a fruit bowl. They said we are out of bowls. You've guessed it, I downloaded Yelp and made an account just so I could share how horrible this Smoothie King is. Many of the workers are rude. They make your smoothies wrong 8/10 times. They are so inconsistent with the orders, if I had an allergy, I would be terrified because you never know what you'll get. You'll be lucky to get the wrong smoothie though. 7/10 times you'll arrive to purchase a smoothie and the store will be closed early. I am not talking 10, 20, or 30 minutes before closing, I'm talking in the middle of the day!!! Their excuse, you ask? "The machines are down... we don't know when they'll be back up and running."
