I orders the Japanese Matcha and an immunity shot. The shot came out in a shot glass and was very STRONG! Almost too strong and I like ginger, but it went down easily with the added juice. The Matcha was not what I was expecting, but was still good. You just like matcha though! It was a very hot day out so the ice melted quickly in my walk back to the car and kinda watered it down. Although it was still tasty and I drank it all. Next time I stop in I want to try some of the bites they offer. A lot of patrons were ordering when I was there, so that is on my list for next visit.

The young ladies just don't greet you or have the patience, or help out each other. The little guy in front me asked for a milkshake and the young lady ask in a rude way what cookie and ice cream flavor he wanted. I notice and was in disbelief in how she asked, i didn't step in only because parent wasn't around and i didn't want to cause a scene. I only remained there because I wanted to taste the hype about the ice cream. As the young boy was being help, two minutes had gone by and finally i was helped by the cashier, I was not greeted, she only said next. I ordered a scoop of strawberries & cream, and it was so GOOD! It was so creamy and soft, just the way I love it. I'll probably go back again and I hope they have different flavors to try.

The server working today 9/18 was very generous with her scooping and we deeply appreciate it. After a few samples, we settled on the Coffee Oreo and the Strawberry cream. Both were solid. Coolhaus has a roving ice cream truck but this location is inside the Farmers Market just a few blocks south of Elm Street, which is also a pretty cool place to grab lunch or a tchotchke. Come down and check it out and if you've been to the shaved ice place here, friend me with some feedback.

We ordered a celery juice and another juice made with beets, carrots, lemon, and ginger. Both were really good--super fresh, clean tasting, and you can tell they're using quality ingredients. The beet/carrot blend in particular had a nice balance and just enough kick from the ginger. The only real downside is the price. Paying close to $25 for two juices feels pretty steep, even for fresh-pressed. It kind of takes away from what would otherwise be a really easy go-to spot. That said, the quality is definitely there. I'd come back if I was in the area and in the mood for juice, but it's probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way for regularly because of the cost.

There's so much turnover with the new younger employees here, that they have to learn how to make the drinks correctly.

I ordered off of the low sugar menu and got something called the "coconut" something or other. And, although I didn't expect it to be a rich dessert drink of any kind (we normally go to Body Machine Fitness, The Gem, or The Juice Bar for smoothies and juices with no added sugar), my smoothie ended up literally tasting like frosted baby powder. My friends' drinks were on the much sweeter side - almost too sweet. We noticed that they don't use fresh ingredients - just dehydrated kale and spinach and lots of different powders of sorts (and I don't mean supplements or protein powder). Will probably go to The Smoothie Factory in Coppell next time since that is the only "smoothie place" that's decent in the area.
