I come here relatively often for a smoothie or açai bowl. There's really friendly staff that holds it together well even when it's pumping. Ally in particular is very professional a nice person. read more

Stopped by for my favorite colada smoothie as it was back on the menu! Sadly it tasted more like a banana smoothie than its mixture of banana, pineapple and coconut. Still yummy just different! read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Food was perfectly prepped, store was very clean and fresh on a hot and humid day. Significantly, our server, Nidhish, was the sweetest person we've interacted with in a long time. He made suggestions for sides we hadn't tried before and I'm so glad we listened to him. We gave the sweet potato a shot and it was so good and in line with my strict nutrition plan. As we ordered he was not only patient but also knowledgeable and confident about the ingredients of the entrees and nutrition values, which meant a lot to us. He appeared to work very well with his co worker, who was also very attentive of customers. Kudos to you guys! Thanks for a great visit! read more

Will never go to another smoothie place other than here so clean and everything is so fresh! They always take forever though, don't go here if you are in a rush I always spend a good 10 min waiting on my smoothie read more

Excellent customer service! The cashier helped us with smoothie customizations. Then the smoothie maker brought the smoothies to our table! Very clean inside too. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - BAHAMA MAMA CHIA BANANA BOOST - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Goodbye, to that other smoothie shop at least for now. The food and drinks here are great. Finally, a one stop shop where I can get healthy food AND a refreshing smoothie. The restaurant at both locations were clean and the service was phenomenal. The employees smiled, made suggestions and offered assistance with their app. This it for me. Sara, went above and beyond here at Greenville location . I called Mockingbird and she remembered my voice out of all of their customers. That told me a lot. When an employee acknowledges and remembers a customer she met one time tells you a lot about this place; CUSTOMERS FIRST!!!! Thank you guys for all that you do not to mention the great food. read more

First experience tonight here in Texas. These were all over NC and I'm so glad this one opened near me. From walking in customer service and acknowledgement were leaps and bounds above Smoothie King could ever be. When looking at ingredients a lot of smoothies have banana but the staff member was super kind and helpful with substitutions since I'm allergic. The kicker? They don't upcharge you/penalize you for having an allergy like it's "competitors". Well done and glad to have you as an addition to the neighborhood. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Detox island green with yogurt instead of banana - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I am a self-confessed smoothie groupie. I LOVE SMOOTHIES. I've been to many places for smoothies because, let's face it; it's harder than you think to find awesome smoothies. There's some places that can conjure up a blissful melange of fresh ingredients and dazzle your tastebuds, and other places serve runny fruit drinks that barely pass as something more than a slightly thicker juice. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is in the former of those groups. First, I'll get right to the good stuff. The smoothies here are great! The items I've had thus far are composed well and have complex and exciting tastes that are different. My two favorites are the Chia Banana Boost (OMG- tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch) with Peanut Butter, and the Avocolada. They are rich in flavor and equally important is the consistency. They are always served very cold and the thickness is perfect! These qualities are important to me because I have been to far too many smoothie joints to have seen some atrociously runny concoctions pass as smoothies. I've been to this location 10+ times before writing this and I have been super-pleased with the consistency of my smoothie every time! How about the service? Yes- let's talk service here because it's important. I've had nothing but positive interactions with the employees! They have all been really pleasant and nice. But, something I should mention to manage expectations. It can get busy at times and whether that be a flood of actual people in the store or them fulfilling orders placed online- there may be a wait. Do not expect on most occasions to walk-in, place an order and be out in 2 minutes. There may be other orders in the queue before you, and you may have to wait. So knowing that, give yourself enough time to account for that possibility. There is a Tropical Smoothie Cafe App- I highly recommended it. You can order ahead and you can also earn points towards discounted items. Now, I cannot believe I have made it this far without mentioning this, but Tropical Smoothie Cafe also serves food which I have not tried yet. They offer an array of flatbreads, quesadillas and other hand-held sandwich devices that change with the season and have a creative flair (think Green Goddess and Caribbean Jerk Chicken) - these all sound so appetizing and at some point I'm sure I'll try them, but for now my review is based solely on my smoothie experiences. Last, I want to applaud this Tropical Smoothie Cafe location for taking COVID precautions seriously. You must wear a mask inside the establishment and the indoor dining tables have been suspended. BRAVO for taking the health and safety of the public and your employees seriously! I appreciate seeing these very common sense measures being taken to mitigate the spread of COVID and thank you for putting my mind at ease when I go here. The Greenville Avenue location is so much better than another TSC that is closer to my home, but I have a much different perception of that other location because of the inconsistent hours of operation that differ from hours posted and the lack of mask wearing. In contrast, I am so glad that this location is doing business the right way, and honestly, I choose this location over the closer one because these things matter to me and I want to support businesses that offer great products, service and experiences. Well done Tropical Smoothie Cafe Greenville- You've earned my business and I'm happy you are around!!! read more

Best smoothies and fruit bowls in town! I come here EVERY week! Great and convenient location too.

Smoothies are great and service is fast and attentive I will definitely be back my son loved their smoothies !

I am utterly disgusted at the customer service here. I will no longer be a tropical smoothie customer after today. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and craving tropical smoothie. I have been a customer since 2016 I always speak highly of them. Never again. Today I came in for a Bahama mama and a turkey bacon ranch sandwich. The employees weren't busy at all and looked so unamused that I walked in. I ordered my food and politely sat down. I went out to my car to eat my food. After the second bite of my sandwich I felt something hard just thinking oh the bacons fried too hard. Just to find out that it is a whole bread clip in my sandwich. I mean how careless do you have to be to just not see a whole bread clip right on the sandwich your preparing. I stepped out of my vehicle to go see the manager, he was not sympathetic and careless to my concerns for my child. Who knows what else was in the sandwich that I could've eaten. He looked at me and said with no remorse in his tone for such a bad experience as a pregnant woman. Do you want it remade? Are you freaking kidding me do you think I would trust the same person to make my sandwich again. I think not. I refused and calmly asked for a refund despite being livid with this customer service. I just sat in my car and cried as I looked for numbers to customer service. This may have just been a true mistake but it cost me great anxiety and stress. I received a call from the locations manager 30 mins later in which she apologized for the whole experience. She took the time to explain to me about how her team felt really bad and initially was very shocked and unprepared for such a situation. She went on to explain how scared they were because I was pregnant and trying to figure out how they made such a big mistake. If I had received just the small amount of the concern that she showed on the phone in that restaurant I would have given them another chance. However, unless she is present at the location with her team I will not be returning. Carry is the only thing saving this location. If I choose to return I'll be sure to update my review. However, as of right now my anxiety is extremely high and I cannot fathom putting my child at risk. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - A bread clip in my turkey bacon ranch sandwich. - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Disappointed in the experience I just had. I ordered a smoothie and it tasted nothing like the full list of ingredients in the smoothie. The employee instantly had a full attitude, as if he would lose money by remaking the smoothie. It made me uncomfortable and I won't be returning. I will continue going to the mockingbird location because that was uncalled for. read more

I ordered 3 smoothies and 2 wrap meals all vegan, paying extra for plant based protein and no cheese. Once the food was at my house we realized both wraps were made with animal chicken and cheese. I bit into one and ate meat which I have not consumed in 6 years. My receipt was right but the items were not - I know my being vegan is a 'choice' but for a lot of people the cheese being present can cause severe allergy. I really wish your employees would pay better attention. read more

I have a fondness for this franchise/chain. I used to frequent the location in Frisco, but have since moved to Dallas. I have been here twice in the last month. The food quality was very high- great flavor Smoothies were also excellent. Less expensive than smoothie king! Unfortunately, on my last visit, the store employee (she was working by herself) was unpleasant and generally did not seem happy with serving me. We all have days, but this time it left a bad taste read more

We got an offer for a good deal and thinking why not to try it out - Tropical Smoothie cafe didn't let us down at all. The chicken flatbread was so good and smoothies are much better than most of places we have tried. The staff are nice too. We'll come back soon. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Flatbread - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I was running errands, in and out of places. I decided to grab a bite to eat here. Being lunch time...I decided to download app, register, order and pick up. At one of my stops I used the app and ordered. I picked the location nearest to me (I thought) and went to pick it up. I waited inside and a nice attendant at the location asked if I was waiting for an order. I said I was and offered my name. She unfortunately gave me the bad news that she saw no such online order. Thinking it was strange...I looked in on the app. Even though I knew which restaurant I wanted to go to, I had been there before several times, somehow I clicked the Greenville Avenue location, the wrong location. I let the person know it was my mistake, I wanted to cancel the Greenville order and order with her at her location. She said she wouldn't be able to help me with a refund but could order the same items with her. I did and I waited. While waiting she said I should reach out to this Greenville location. I did and spoke to someone not the friendliest and definitely not able or not interested in offering me a refund on the order I tried to cancel. They offered I call the corporate phone number. In disbelief at the complexity I did call. The call took 15 mins and I provided all the relevant information. That included my personal details and also the timing, the order number, etc. after this was complete I was told that the matter would elevated to the appropriate party within the company. Again I was baffled with the over the top needless complexity in asking for a refund on an $11 meal. Well, now 5 days later...nothing. I have not received any email or call regarding the matter. At this point, I know it is only $11, but it's the principle. Yes, I know I made the mistake in ordering, but I did all I could to cancel, inform, explain...and to get nothing back in return is just not cool. I don't know how else to put it. Customer service, care...communication at least...that would have made the experience better. I will not be going back to any of their locations. There are too many great restaurants out there that in this day and age would love to have the business of a regular customer. UPDATE: Thank you T Smoothie for responding. As I mentioned in my review...all my details WERE shared with corporate over a 20 minute phone call. I outlined the story to the customer service person on the 800 number. She was nice. I shared my name, address, phone number, time, and receipt number. I was told it was being escalated to the proper department. That was over a week ago. So I don't understand...you request that I go to the site and provide even more detail? I don't know what else I can add. read more

I personally love tropical smoothie. The vibes and food are always a hit. This particular location the bathroom door doesn't lock. And someone walked in on me. I proceeded to let the workers know they should put a sign in the door to advise customers about the lock thing 1 tells thing 2 and thing 2 says very loudly "I don't have to tell him anything because I have already informed him." Food and drink was a hit like always but the service was giving me hell no not from this location. read more

They just opened last Thursday and their food is so good!! Just found out about them last night because of the coupons they sent out in the mail. I ordered a Santa Fe Quesadilla with a 24oz smoothie, delicious! I'm going back for dinner to try more but I highly recommend. Pretty good pricing for a light eating and smoothie restaurant. read more

I agree this place is a joke. Place an lunch order for family . When Uber driver delivered it there were no Smoothies I called the store and was told that I'd have to just call another Uber driver which would be another 30 to 40 minutes if I wanted my smoothies. The girl was so rude on the phone and of course when I asked for the manager he was not there. Don't think I'll be ordering from them again. Too many good places in Dallas that have better service then to waste my time & money on this place read more

This place is an absolute joke. Cashier not wearing mask properly but felt the need to harass us about it while waiting for our food more than 6 feet away from her. They close the bathrooms for paying guests and have no tables available to sit down. Will not be returning. read more

I came to this location 15 minutes before closing. They told me they were closed. I told them they aren't suppose to close until 7pm. The food was phenomenal today, good portions of protein compared to my local tropical smoothie, and ready before I got there

The Avacolada smoothie and pesto wrap were delicious! Straight out of a fairytale for this pregnant mamma. I will definitely be coming back!

This location is enforcing a "mask mandate" from a previous county wide order that was overturned by the Supreme Court of Texas. While inside I was told I could not order without a mask even though the were two people of color without masks not being harassed. The cashier told me I was an "inconsiderate fucking trumpie". This location has lost my business permanently... read more

Good price and tasty smoothie. They sent coupons to my place and I discovered them by using one. It was a good deal and I'll be back.

I'm in love with the tropical smoothie chain, but this one is either a hit or miss. Today I went in and the smoothie tasted like something was expired so I went back in and told the lady working there and she was immediately rude. I do not recommend going to this tropical smoothie location. read more

The smoothies are delicious! My hubster devoured his food and was mad he didn't get more. It's definitely my new smoothie place!

I called yesterday because they said that I would be getting a refund from my canceled order that I never got. They told me when I called that I had to go though the app just to get my moms back. I spoke to some man on the phone that claimed to be the manager he didn't really help me at all. I asked him what his name was and he to me Smith I doubt that was his real name. I had high hopes for going to this place but after this I never will. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I went to the Greenville Ave location. I walked into the restaurant no one greeted me. I walked to the register no one greeted me or asked if I was ready to order. The girl was just looking at me. I placed the order for an Sunrise Sunset. I paid for it with my card. I looked at my receipt it was also a tip of 92¢. I told the girl I didn't want to tip you. She said you pressed it. I asked how can I take off. She called a guy from the back a so called manager. He said he can't take the tip off. I explained to him that she don't deserve no tip due to lack of customer service. He proceeded to tell me I can go somewhere else for customer service. I was so mad. I asked for a complete refund. He claim he can't do it. He called his manager on the phone and said I was wanting a refund over a tip. That was lie. It was for poor customer service. He finally gave me my refund and I left. I will never go there again. Please get a whole new staff. They will bring your business down. It takes a moment to greet someone who is purchasing your product. read more

If I could give 0 stars I most certainly would. We recently went to this location to get a smoothie. I am a first responder that workers for Baylor. We received a list of locations that were offering specials to first responders due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The list had this location on the list that's was giving free smoothies to first responders. The workers there were very unfriendly and when asked about the free smoothie that they were offering to all first responders we where told no there were not doing this even when we showed them the list they were on and that it was ongoing. The still refused. So we left very disappointed in the treatment that we were given. read more
