Be open during hours that are advertised online and on the door. Visiting from out of town for work and needless to say, I was disappointed about it being closed. I want to preface that we go to smoothie king probably 50x a year and know specific locations that are the best and unfortunately this location is not one of them. My fiance orders the same thing every time we go adding typical ingredients like peanut butter but this location said they couldn't add pb which immediately was a red flag and we should've just left but he was starving but we had a big dinner in 3-4 hours so we figure this would hold us over until then. He ordered a chocolate gladiator but it was red? it looked more strawberry than chocolate, it was watered down and i ordered a pumpkin slim and trim and it was warm??? no ice added?? very strange. we ended up throwing $20+ away. Ordered my favorite, the "Daily Warrior", a high protein meal replacement with wild blueberries, peanut butter, organic spinach, bananas, dates, apple-blueberry juice blend, plant-based sweetener and keto protein - YUMMY & filling! Solid 4.0 rating for the GREAT smoothie plus friendly, efficient service, plus they've adapted with distancing markers in-store and hand sanitizer available for customers. FYI they offer a Friday special on 32 oz. (normally 20 oz.) for $5! Note, if it's considered a special "protein" added smoothie, they charge an extra $1, but still a great value and healthy 4 U! Today I also got to taste their Coffee Almond Mocha and Peanut Protein Plus (PPP) Chocolate from friends. So first time walking in here in a while, and wow, the young guy Dane - excellent customer service. I work in the hospitality industry and deal with bad behavior on the daily (guests and employees alike), so when I see someone motivated with a good attitude, that really says something and determines if I am going to give my patronage or not. He convinced me to go with one of the pitaya bowls and it did not disappoint. A few of the guests here saw what I got and also were very friendly, striking up conversation how good it turned out. Hopefully, Smoothie King doesn't get rid of the acai and pitaya bowls; I don't see a lot of places that offer them (even in STL county). Very delicious and refreshing on a hot day. read more

I wouldn't even write this negative review if it wasn't for the failure of the franchise management to contact me, and show it was a real priority concern, after I found shredded plastic in my smoothie. I had already swallowed some of it. Happened on a Saturday morning. I was told by the employee that answered the phone that I'd be contacted on Monday by the Manager. No call Monday, no call Tuesday. I had to call them to get this addressed (Tuesday at 3pm). The manager said she had a note from their employee that this occurred but "hadn't gotten around to calling me". Went in for a healthy lunch option the other day. I got the strawberry kiwi freeze with vegan protein. I like that the smoothies are customizable and ingredients are very fresh. The only downer is that they don't give details about what's in the protein blends. For people with allergies this is critical to know and should be available without request IMHO. My son went into the Smoothie King yesterday after a work out, then paid for his order, and they forgot his order. While he stood there, two workers just sat and talked and went in the back. Then when my son asked where his smoothie was, they acted like they totally forgot. To top it off, the smoothie was not made correctly, and came out without peanut butter and bananas. This is probably the best Smoothie King in the St. Louis County. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by two polite young men. Prior to ordering I was explained the options on the menu as it was my first time in a while. I ordered a large Banana Boat with extra bananas. Within minutes my smoothie was ready. Upon receiving the Banana Boat my tongue was fulfilled with the deliciousness of a multitude of flavors. Overall, my experience here was genuine and awesome. Will be visiting again! read more

I've been here a few times and the service has always been good. Prices are pretty good. A small smoothie is usually under $5 without anything added and more than enough 95% of the time for me. They do have earlier closing times this time of year that I don't think are reflected on their website. I think this one closes at 8PM instead of 9PM right now on weekdays (The weekend hours are different as well, but I don't recall what they are exactly). That's why it lost a star - I showed up at 8:30 one day and it was already closed early. Hopefully this saves someone the inconvenience. read more

I have been to this location and most others around Stl many times. This was the worst experience I have had. When telling the cashier my order the first time he did not get it correct then as I was saying it again he repeated it to me. Everything was correct and he rang me out but hit cash and it did not go through on my card. So he and another girl messed around trying to figure out wHat to do for 7minutes. I told them to void the previous order and ring out a new drink. I have them back my receipt to do so and copy the drink down on a new order. When the drink was finally made I tasted it as I walked out and they forgot an ingredient. I told them they forgot something and the girl who made it asked if I had taken a drink and I said yes, how else would I know there is an ingredient missing. the girl said I didn't pay for the add so I would need to be dang out. I told her I told the guy 2x what I wanted and he repeated it to me and then he copied the original order down. She said she has to make a new drink since I took a drink. I said okay. I stood in the long line they had created with my drinks original mess up and when I got to the cashier the girl said my drink it done and I don't need to pay. So I stood in line for nothing and 4 drinks were made before mine was remade. I grabbed the new one and walked out and took a sip and they forgot another ingredient. I just left it this time. There should be a manager on duty at all times. Not kids left alone to run a store. read more
