I went into Fit-Flavors for the very first time and I was happy with my experience! I was greeted by a lead for the store and she gave me a run down on the food they had in the refrigerated doors right when you walk in! They had a variety of food to offer with calories printed on the container which I totally appreciated, trying to get back to eating light. I picked their Turkey meatballs with veggies and I saw they had a bulk option of a brussel sprouts mixture with other veggies. The Turkey meatballs were delicious! And just the right amount to fill me up but not too much....I loved that they had brussel sprouts (love them!!) and squash...now, the bulk mixture I got with Brussels... I didn't like. The taste was a little weird... I believe it was roasted red peppers, brussel sprouts, and like pickled onions....I was hoping I would have liked that more..... but! Those Turkey meatballs are delish! I got three meals for $40 total. The meals were a little pricey but, that is how it is IF you want to eat healthy..... they do have a rewards program. Grab and go for your health! This place is great for a pop in when you have no time to meal prep, you are in a hurry and you still want to stay healthy. They have most dietary restrictions covered and a rotating menu with portioned and nutrition based meals. You get them frozen and you will have to heat them up- they have a microwave if you want to eat there and they have some seating, but it is not a sit down place traditionally. Where would I be without Fit-Flavors?! I started doing orders with Fit-Flavors in February of this year. I wanted to get back into meal prepping and wanted to be mindful of low calorie/low carb meals in order to lose weight, and stumbled upon Fit-Flavors. I like that the food is already prepared and only needs to be reheated in the microwave for minimal time. The prices aren't bad, about the same that you'd pay at a restaurant if not a little less, and on average in the $10-$13 range per person/per meal. They offer free delivery for STL metro customers for orders over $70 or $75. That's easy to get to when you're buying meals for a whole week. You can also go to the store and pick up meals as you go and just put them in the freezer or heat them up that day. The food only lasts 5 days in the freezer. Some of the meals are hit or miss on flavor so there is a bit of trial and error that goes into finding what food you like, but most of the options are really tasty. My personal favorites are the spaghetti squash with marinara and meatballs, the buffalo chicken tenders/nuggets, the Greek salad, blackened salmon, the oatmeal with mixed berries, and the steak with Yukon potatoes. My least favorite meal so far was the turkey meatloaf. The texture and taste just weren't it, at all. I also can proudly say that while doing Fit-Flavors for dinner only for 10 days out of a month (5 nights every other week), I did lose weight during those weeks, so I've been successful doing Fit-Flavors. If you're wanting to meal prep or just want to pick up dinner that is already portion controlled and has the nutrition facts of the entire meal indicated, I highly recommend Fit-Flavors! read more

So it's safe to say I'm OBSESSED. I have started living off of these for breakfast, lunch, and dinner when possible. Everything is extremely well made and they do not skimp on the ingredient quality. They have a rewards program when you buy in a store. So far I've earned two free meals, one from a referral and another from rewards. My favorite meals are Peanut Chicken over Asian Slaw, Farmers Breakfast, Chicken Verde Enchiladas, and Balsamic Chicken and Zoodles. For snacks I love the Snickerdoodle Peanut Butter Balls, Coffee Cake, and the Chocolate Raspberry Muffins. Everyone in store is extremely helpful and nice and seem to be very excited about their job which really makes things even better. I've always been into fitness and nutrition. However...Fit-Flavors just made things so much better. I lost weight and felt great! I still wanted to know more about how to fit these foods in with an even better nutritional plan. About a month ago, I attended a free Cooler Chat session with the Dietitian, Allison Leskow. The topic was MyFitnessPal. Since I've used MyFitnessPal in the past..I wanted to get more information about how to better use it. Allison was great! She was very informative and as so nice! I was then curious about having these foods and using this device. She said that she can help set up a nutrition program incorporating the Fit-Flavors food. That was my main focus...so I set up some sessions with her. Allison set up my program using calories, as opposed to my previous programs with the breakdowns of macros. Yet with these foods...that information is already there...and it is so much easier to just do calories. My results were almost immediate and it's only gotten better!! It has been sooooo easy to stay focused and on track with MyFitnessPal!!! I'll also set up a few meals ahead and then I don't even have to think about what to eat other than look at the device to see what is planned for each meal and snack. And the body knows when it's time to eat!!!! Trust me!!!!!! I can honestly say that at the age of 66...this is the best I have ever looked or felt! My clothes fit amazing and I'm at the lowest size and weight I have been in a very long time and it is due to the right amount of calories for my body. And...I will not be on that yo-yo track anymore. This is a great way of life! And....eating these pre-made Fit-Flavors foods has been one the best things to make this journey so successful. And the snacks can be some of those "forbidden" foods...yet...when tracked...they fit right in with the plan. Today I stopped in to check this place out, after my mom told me about it. The owner greeted us as we walked in. She was extremely friendly and informative. Since it was my first time in, she gave me a menu and a run down on all the food. The selection is huge! I can't wait to try more. I picked Spiced Rubbed Chicken Breast (with veggies) and the Asian Slaw. They were delicious. I even accidentally heated my chicken twice but it was still amazing :) Unfortunately, I'm only here visiting (which is another reason this place is amazing and helpful, while traveling) but I'll be stopping in to pick up more meals. I've been telling myself that I'm going to start meal prepping and bringing my lunch to work for months, so when I heard about Jillian's Fit Flavors, I decided to admit to myself that I was not going to do that and check Fit Flavors out instead. My boyfriend and I visited the Brentwood location on Sunday, 2/15. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and unpretentious (which is important to me for a health-oriented business because that's not always the case). We bought 7 things to try, planning to take them for lunch a few days this week. Well, it's Wednesday and we have already eaten them because we've been making them for lunches and dinners. All of the options we've tried have been delicious - and so healthy. One other thing I'll mention is that I'm not the hugest meat fan in general, and the thought of days old reheated meat kind of grosses me out. However, all of the meats have been very well-seasoned and moist, even reheated. I thought the meat may be a problem for me, but it's not at all. While the ~$10 per lunch price point is more than I might spend prepping my own meals, we all know I'll never actually prep my own meals and it's much cheaper and healthier than eating out for lunch every day. Also, they have a free rewards program where you get $5 off every $100 (or some variation of that)... basically 5% off. Regular Sunday stops at Fit Foods may be my "meal prep" plan from now on - highly recommend! read more

One thing that is disappointing is the lids for the smoothie cups are poor quality. I'd say about 90% of the time when you push a straw through the lid it will snap off 1 or 2 of the tabs and if you're not careful you'll get an unpleasant surprise when trying to enjoy the smoothie. read more
