I knocked and clearly saw an employee inside, but no one came to the door or acknowledged me. I also tried calling multiple times and no one answered the phone. This is really frustrating and unprofessional. If the store isn't open, the hours should be updated. If employees are inside, customers should at least be acknowledged instead of ignored. I expect better communication and basic customer service from a business like this. read more

I've been to a bunch of Smoothie King a handful of times now, mostly for their protein smoothies and I've yet to be disappointed. On one visit, I decide to take my 5 year old as he was craving something cold and sweet (acai bowl over ice cream?). This location was on the way so we decided to stop here and get the Acai Coco Haze Bowl. Now let me tell you it took a bit for that bowl to be made. The staff took their time getting that bowl to perfection with all the ingredients in the right proportion. The bowl was beautifully layered with creamy acai, fresh bananas, sweet strawberries, crunchy granola, and just the right sprinkle of cacao nibs. The combination of flavors was spot on--sweet, nutty, and slightly chocolatey from the cacao nibs. It was incredibly filling and felt like a treat while still being healthy. My son, who can be a bit of a picky eater, loved it too. He kept saying how the granola added the perfect crunch. It turned out to be a great bonding moment over a wholesome snack. Today, the new manager said he couldn't add granola and that the other times who ever served me did it wrong that they're not supposed to add granola. What's the big deal? I placed an order for two açaí bowls and one Gladiator smoothie. After taking my order, the associate had to continue taking additional orders before getting started on making drinks. When the second associate came out to assist, she started working on my açaí bowls but faced a significant challenge--she was trying to scoop the açaí base from a large frozen bucket that was rock solid. This process took several minutes, requiring a heated scooper and considerable effort just to get enough for the bowls. Meanwhile, the first associate was still handling incoming orders, stepping away from making smoothies to assist customers. Once all orders were taken, she finally started on my Gladiator smoothie, which was finished first. The second associate continued struggling with the açaí base before finally being able to add toppings and complete my order. By the time I walked out, I had been in the store for 27 minutes--far too long for what should have been a quick stop. This is the third time I've experienced long wait times at this location. It's clear that the issue isn't with the employees themselves--they are doing their best with what they have. The problem lies in inefficient staffing and workflow. Customers who consistently face long waits will eventually stop coming back, which means lost revenue for the business. Some operational improvements could significantly enhance efficiency and customer experience. For example: * Better Prep Work: If açaí bowls are a regular menu item, pre-portioning thawed açaí base into cups during slower periods and storing them in the freezer would drastically cut down on prep time. * More Staff During Peak Hours: Having just one or two people managing orders, prep, and customer service is a major strain. Increasing staffing during busier periods would streamline operations. * Order Flow Optimization: The current setup causes unnecessary delays when employees have to switch between taking orders and preparing them. A designated cashier and a focused smoothie maker would create a smoother process. I had to repeat my order multiple times, and the team member assisting me, Victoria, seemed confused about what I was requesting. Despite arriving before two other customers, both of them received their orders before mine, and I wasn't given any explanation for the delay. When I showed my Crunch Fitness badge--something I've done many times before without issue she insisted I also show the app, which was unexpected. Was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in here again. My second visit was even better than the first. The employees are so personable and helpful. The environment is clean and inviting. The quality of the smoothies is exceptional. I wish this was the Smoothie King in my neighborhood. I'd be here weekly if it were. Service means so much and these employees understood the assignment. A sweet experience indeed! I popped in today for a meal replacement smoothie to prepare for a trip next week. This location is positioned well. Easy to get in and easy to get out. The store was super cute, clean and has a happy summer vibe. The staff was quick, courteous and seemed to be quite happy to be there because they were all smiling. I ordered the 20 ounce vegan nutty super grain. Excuse me? Who put together this amazing recipe? It was oh sooo delicious! It was creamy, full of flavor, and not too thick. Yesss! So my guess is that her name is Saaliyah but i went in 8/28/24 @ 7:33pm and this girl was on her phone while taking our order!!! customer service was no where to be seeeenn!!!! and i've been to good smoothie kings with AMAZING service but this was not one of them. This location has so much potential but the customer service was absolutely no where to be seen!!! smoothies were great like always lol. the place was clean tho well sort of. there was some trash on the tables and stuff but nothing too gross. read more

The store hours are listed as opening at 7am I got to the store around 815, all of the lights were off and the employee was sitting in her car talking on the phone. Did not open the store until almost 830. When she walked in she locked the door and still had the lights turned off. I came in on Veteran's Day when all Smoothie Kings offer a free 20 oz for serving. The person at the counter had no idea what was going on so he went and asked a young lady who was fixing bowls. She just said "no" to him without an explanation. I then proceed to ask more questions for clarification and the young man couldn't answer ANY questions...so then he goes BACK to the original young lady but this time I walk over too since she seems to be the person in charge. She tells me they are not one of the participating organizations...I then ask was this "independently owned" and she said "I think so" without actually finding out or giving the drink as offered. This is NOT a place that I will come to ever again and I truly buy on other days not just when acknowledged. Just don't support this establishment if you're a veteran is my suggestion. read more
