Don't get me wrong, it's a good place to grab a quick lunch smoothie, sweet but not unhealthy. But they do melt fast, gotta either get a small and drink it fast or put it in a freezer. First of all, it was CLEAN!!! The location in Lawrenceville smells like rotten milky mop water so bad, I had to stand outside while my husband got his smoothie. Planet Smoothie is less than 5 mins from the LA Fitness down street and probably 10 mins from the Sugarloaf LifeTIme Fitness nearby as well. Convenient for those who want a healthy drink option after nice a workout. The smoothies here can be inconsistent in taste at times with the balance of ingredients being either too much or too less. This is my go-to smoothie spot. Prices are reasonable; a small 16oz drink will cost you about $6-7. It's relatively quiet so there's never a long wait. I'm usually in and out of there within 5 minutes. I always get the Road Runner with no added sugar. There was one time I'd forgotten to request that, and when I did, the server stated she already put it in and didn't seem too willing to remake it. I let it slide but it was the only time I ever left my drink half finished before tossing it out. I've been to this location about 5-6 times and it wasn't until my last that they mentioned there was a rewards program. Oh well, better late than never. I signed up for the rewards program because I will be back to get another smoothie from this location. If you purchase a 32oz smoothie you can purchase a reusable cup with a straw for 5.99. This location use to be my go-to. Unfortunately, my last two visits were disappointing. I went early one morning on my way to work. This particular day there was an employee working alone that I didn't recognize. I greeted her (should have been the other way around) when I came in and placed my order. She didn't smile or even make eye contact I noticed she had an earbud in one ear and was talking on the phone complaining about being there alone. This location is close by, clean and the staff and owner are friendly. We are not on a first name basis yet but they know my face. I usually get the Captain Kid. Guess I am a kid at heart. It has shebert ice cream banana and strawberries, along with water and ice. I recently upgraded to the Vinnie Del Rocco which has similar ingredients minus the banana and adds both blueberries and raspberries. Both drinks contain dairy and are gluten-free. My guy and I stopped in for a smoothie and we were definitely happy with our choices! I wanted an all fruit smoothie so I ordered the one with mango. I can't remember what the name of the smoothie was but I was pleased with the fact that they used fresh fruit and juice/sweetener. The customer service there was great and the wait time wasn't too bad. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely have to try their fro-yo.
