The first time, we came on a weekday and stood in the lobby for about 5-10 minutes before someone who appeared to be the owner told us they weren't open. The second time, we came back on a Sunday, well after their posted opening time of 12 PM. The restaurant was completely dark and the doors were locked. After waiting another week, we tried one last time on a Saturday, assuming they'd definitely be open. Again, no luck. The shop was closed with a handwritten sign saying they might open at *1 PM "if everything is prepared." Consistency matters. If the business hours aren't reliable, it makes it really difficult for customers to support the shop.

Everything seemed to be low stocked and/or just not well kept. There were only a few cinnamon rolls in the display. There were also only like 3 cookies on display, which were snickerdoodle. When asked if they had any chocolate chip cookies, I was told no. So I opted for 2 cinnamon rolls. While gathering my cinnamon rolls to leave, I noticed that there were chocolate chip cookies. I made mention of it and was told there were no clear slips to put them in. I've visited quite a few cinnaholic and this is the first time experiencing one that was not well kept.

The squash and baked pineapple went in my freezer. I also got cheese straws. My total was $120. My entree was the only thing that was a regular size: everything else was small. I cooked the chicken and sweet potatoes and we were so disappointed. It wasn't good or flavorful. Honestly, bland cafeteria food comes to mind. The sweet potatoes tasted like canned yams and there was an "off" flavor to the chicken sauce. I want to support local eateries but this one is a check off my list especially with the prices. I do not mind paying for good food but this wasn't even good. I want to leave this on a good note: The cheese straws are VERY good though and I have had their caramel pound cake before and it is VERY good too. The lady that helped me was sweet and kind. Just like every location around here the drive thru is wrapped around the building every morning. If you are in a rush make your order in advance online and pickup inside. Outdoor seating is also available, it gets chilly inside so on nice days I opt to sit on the patio. I've come here a few times to write and it is a lot less noisy than most coffee shops and they keep the music light. Not a huge deal if you're going through the drive-thru or picking up an order to go. But as a someone who usually hangs out in the store, it makes stuff seem awkwardly quiet. Now, to be fair, this isn't a deal break. And despite hit or miss nature of having the music on, this is still my favorite location in the Middle GA area. I'd just really like to see consistency on details such as this. Ultimately I have headphones I can put in and that works well enough.
