Came in to look for a few products needed to make my sea moss and body butter. They had everything and more! Very knowledgeable and able to give recommendations on what I stated I was doing. Pricing is comparable to other stores and few of my items were also on sale. This is now my go to place for my natural essentials

Those of us who try to research, study and eat well, understand the value of a Holistic health food store. I have patronized, Sevannada, Health Unlimited, Nature's Own, Sprouts, one in Henry Co; n another in Cowetta Co;. Today the RUDE, CONDENCENDING Attitude of the own of Gia's made me feel as if getting information on Magnesium was a Crime! "You gonna come back an make a purchase"?! with the hateful tone was enough for me to leave the store IMMEDIATELY. I understand the new reality, its call Showrooming, you chk.out a product in a store n purchase on-line,drawn by fast n free delivery cutting the Merchant out of the deal. That is the new reality today, but their is no excuse for short tolerance n being RUDE.

Honesty Hour! This is THE CLEANEST Wayfield I have ever been to in all my years!…read more This store is nestled at the end of the shopping plaza but is really the only defining reason to go to the plaza. Upon walking in I was surprised at how clean the store is and how open the floor plan is. Great Job, Management. Wayfield will always be the Meat Gem of grocery stores as their 5 for $24.99 is unmatched when it comes to Grocery Retailers. As such, it was time for some meats, I was in the area, thus I landed here. Along with the clean store and open floor plan (as most Wayfields are usually super crowded) the selection was awesome. Everything was in stock. The meats presented pretty cuts, and best of all, there wasn't any kind of odors coming from the meat department. Along with getting my 5 for $24.99, I stocked up on a few seasonings. I was surprised at the pricing for the bottles of seasonings in relation to how big they are. I had to grab a few. Lastly, my checkout process was quick and simple. There were multiple lines open. The cashier was very friendly. As was the security guard by the front door. Overall, I had a pleasurable shopping experience at this Wayfield! I will make this my go-to location when I'm near the area. #HappyShopping

Although it's quite a distance from my home, I wouldn't mind returning. The store was very clean and organized. The cleanliness stood out because none of the Wayfield locations that I've previously visited can compare. The prices were very reasonable. I purchased snow crab legs for $6.99 a pound and a 2 pound bag of colossal Argentinean red shrimp for $14.99. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The produce was a little iffy and they were out of the all flat wings that Wayfield typically carries.

If you love flowers and plants but can kill one just by looking in its direction *raises hand in…read moreshame* the Metro Atlanta Urban Farm (MAUF) can give you a greener tomorrow. They've been turning brown thumbs green since 2009 at their operation in College Park on the MARTA line between the East Point and College Park stations. I'd passed by before without paying attention but I wish I'd known about them before today's MLK Day service project. During our orientation, Mr. Wilson explained that they teach people in the community how to grow their own food. Adults and children can get hands-on experience at MAUF that they can use to cultivate organic gardens of their own. They learn which vegetables to plant in each season and how to nourish the soil. They also get information about cooking and preserving/canning their produce. MAUF is focused on self-sufficiency and farming of high quality produce. Everything they grow is non-GMO and is free of hormones, synthetic pesticides and fertilizer and the majority of what they plant are heirloom seeds. They have a well onsite and they're in the process of going off the grid with solar power. They sell fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables to the public, including to several of the restaurants in the area. Low-income EBT and food stamp recipients can buy $20 worth of produce for $10 through their 2-for-1 discount program. I encourage everyone to support this organization's work to educate people in the Atlanta community and help them eat nutritiously. Today we pulled weeds inside the hoop houses, tended the compost pile and stained tables in furtherance of their mission. I plan to return (when it warms up) to learn how to grow some of my favorite veggies at home! They have a variety of superfood seamoss smoothies ranging from $10 to $13.75 in price. I placed an order for the soursop sip for $10.50. It's made with soursop, seamoss, chia seeds, ginger, banana, coconut milk, dates, agave, apple and spices. It's very filling and delicious! Helpful info: there is a large menu to the right as you walk in and another large menu behind the register. You place your order at the cashier the. Good playlist good energy. Good selection of natural products. Slightly expensive for me but I don't think it's out of the ordinary from what I've seen from other natural stores and products. I grabbed a couple boxes of incense and some soap in addition to my smoothie. It seems like they have good traffic and good support from the community as well. This particular day they had a hot food vendor, but I did not tell them since I was on the go. The area seems a little bit sketchy but nonetheless I would definitely return when I'm town.
