Pit stop for a açaí bowl and it was good! I've been to many Smoothie Kings around the east coast and I really thought the customer service & efficiency at this location was better than most. The bowl was about the same, I got the basic açaí with fruits, granola, and honey as toppings. Taste seems to be consistent across the chains I've visited; no complaints! Smoothie King has really enhanced their menu. They have improved their ingredients and have healthier options. They now offer dates, stevia, and raw cane sugar as their sweeteners. They have a high-quality vegan protein (I cannot speak to the whey and other proteins but I assume they would be of equal quality). They have vegan smoothies but any smoothie can be made vegan. I use almond milk instead of the low-fat milk and either add or substitute the protein to the vegan option. They also have a smoothie for pregnant mothers with prenatal vitamins. There are several fitness blends, meal replacements blends, and "skinny" blends. They also carry great healthy snacks such as protein bars, protein cookies, kale chips, protein chips, ostrim, etc. They sell protein powders and shaker cups. This particular location has individual packs of protein you can purchase for a single serving. Convenient for those smoothies you make on the go. You can tell they have really taken an increased interest in offering healthy options and being good for the environment. They are phasing out their outdated styrofoam cups nationwide, this location has not as of yet but I am sure it is coming. I've received great customer service on each visit and it's always clean. Most importantly, the smoothies taste GREAT. I have 3 favorites. The Peach Slice Plus or Vegan Mango Kale if I want something fruity or the Peanut Power Plus (sometimes I get it without cocoa, so it tastes like peanut butter banana... yummers!) I am a huge fan of Smoothie King and could not be happier with their upgrades. read more

It was pretty late so I just bought three packets of vegan protein powder that I absolutely love and the girls that were in there were absolutely dolls, they just catered to me and my best friend with no problems. So many choices! I swear, I just stood there for about 2 minutes trying to figure out what I wanted. That's not a bad thing by the way. I love choices. I had a coupon from my sister and it was a goodie. Basically, I got a buy one, get one free. Yaayy. So, I called up a friend to see if she wanted a smoothie before whippin' out the coupon. She said "Of course" and I ordered the Strawberry-Banana and she wanted something with Pineapple. We both sipped on the smoothies for about 2 hours. They were huge. I also got caught up at the register and grabbed a bag of chocolate covered cashews. They were great too. The service was awesome. The staff told me everything about each smoothie I inquired about. What I like most about this place is the options. Some smoothies can be made as a 'meal replacer' or 'light option'... honestly I do not know the actual name for the light option however your not stuck with the basic ingredients with a smoothie. Not only do they have endless smoothies but healthy snacks and supplements. I did not check the pricing on these supplements, however if your one of those people who get things on the fly than this should definitely be your stop. Been a fan of the company for years. Been to this location consistently for the last 3 months, 3 to 4 days a week while out of town. I can say that I've been really happy with the service, the staff, and the smoothies. The staff is very attentive. After a few trips they remembered several of our orders, friendly, and fun to be around while ordering and sitting to drink. Smoothies have been consistently good. The smoothies here are amazing but when I went to rung out I mentioned to the cashier (morgan) that I was going to download the app to get reward points. She pointed me in the direction of instructions in the front of the store. I rang out and when I came back after following the instructions to get my points she informed that I couldn't get my points because I had already rang out. What kind of customer service is this? $8 for a smoothie, the least she could have done was wait the 2 minutes it took me to download and register on the app or at LEAST tell me that I couldn't ring out first. Every time you walk in there is a friendly staff member to greet you. The smoothies are pricey but for the health benefits it's worth it.
