Unfortunately, this was not communicated in advance. I wish they had posted something on their social media pages so guests could plan accordingly. Outside is very unassuming. The inside though, very vivacious, open, and sultry. Its a whole experience. There's a plethora of seating including a few intimate reserved areas for special occasions. I also appreciate the open patio which has its own unique vibe. I just tried the HH bites. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Eggrolls. They were bland and had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. I was very disappointed but hungry. Another party also ordered all 3 eggrolls but they were burned and had hair in them. She sent them back and her claim was disputed by both the manager and bartender. The fact that the burned Eggrolls were not replaced without a triple check shocked me. I was flabbergasted. Went again for a double date. Ambiance and my waitress along with drinks always wonderful. I messaged on instagram about feedback on seating options which I shared privately in a instagram message as this is a place I frequent and bring people with me and this was also their same complaint. After mentioning this to them I was blocked on instagram. So I will no longer patronize this establishment. Wishing this business well, but that's definitely how you run a business. read more

I will give this a 9 out of 10. The only reason it's not a 10 is because I feel the drinks (top shelf Long Island) were a bit watery. I'm not a big drinker so anytime I taste one it's hard to swallow because of all the liquor. That was not the case with this drink. If I say it's weak, trust it. We ordered wings which were very very lightly seasoned and not very crispy but still good. The next time I go I will ask for more seasoning and extra crispy. Jerk egg rolls were excellent but again mildly seasoned. Service from Terry was excellent. They do include gratuity but I still tipped as always based on service which was exceptional so I will definitely be back. Also the bathroom was very clean and fresh smelling. It is unisex, but so is my restroom at home so that's no problem. The only reason i mentioned that is because I feel those are sometimes a little harder to maintain but this one was great. read more

I highly recommend! Ambiance is intimate and an aesthetically pleasing, I made a reservation for 8pm which was met due to it being a slower Thursday night. Not busy at all service was prompt and attentive. Appetizer was Honey lemon pepper wings which were very tasty and fresh, 5 came in an order. Drinks were 25% off ordered a Smooth Operator which was very good. Entree 2 orders of lamb chops, sides 2 orders of mac and cheese, green beans and asparagus. All were good, I would have preferred my lamb chops medium or medium well vs. well done. Green beans and asparagus have similar seasonings but cooked well and tasteful. I had a chance to meet the owner (who is a Brooklyn native like me, heyyy). So many great things happening here such as: Hookah, karaoke, open mic & stepping lessons! There was also a live DJ playing various tunes that kept the night young and fun. I heard the Delta's were coming for an event soon (or may have done so at the time of this review). There is a space for events AND the owner shared there will be a cigar area coming soon. This is a very nice space, beautifully decorated. Some were dressed casually while others were dressed up. Deserves 0 stars I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this establishment. During my visit, I stepped outside several times to smoke because smoking is not permitted inside. At no point was I informed that there was a designated patio area available for smokers. Instead of politely explaining their policy, staff became increasingly rude and confrontational, stating that they were "tired" of me going in and out. When I calmly asked what the issue was, since I was simply complying with the no-smoking rule, the situation escalated unnecessarily. The most concerning part of this experience was when staff threatened to call the police and then falsely claimed that I had refused to pay my bill. This was completely untrue. My purse and drink were still at the bar with my friends, and the bill was ultimately paid by one of my friends. There was never any attempt to avoid payment. Customer service should involve communication, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, this experience reflected none of those qualities. I understand that bars have policies that must be followed, but there is a respectful way to communicate those policies to customers. The behavior displayed by this staff was unprofessional, hostile, and completely unnecessary. The staff in the picture attached needs retraining. Her attitude from the time of my arrival was very negative and appeared as if she did not want to be there and also claimed to be the owner. If she is this is unacceptable and horrible customer service. We stopped by here a few weeks ago because we were on the prowl for a grown n sexy spot for drinks n bites ! They nailed it here I wish it was closer they are located in Concord,NC & is a black owned Restaurant Bar & Lounge with a tasty food menu ! We arrived right at opening so there weren't very many folks inside . Super aesthetic inside so we weren't expecting much with the food but we actually enjoyed our food & drinks ! My only thing is I wish they had more variety on the menu . Far as the entrees there were only two options they had way more appetizers than entrees . This is so perfect for date night. Great service and ambiance was amazing. Came on a Wednesday, the vibe was quiet and relaxing.

So I don't ever leave reviews for places but when me and my girlfriend had come out tonight to enjoy a valentines drink with some nice atmosphere and music our night was cut short. We were sitting there for 40 mins unattended with no service what so ever, and to make things worse there was a couple that came in 15 mins after we had and they got served right as they sat. Multiple employees even walked past us sitting with nothing at the table. I understand this is a reservation based establishment but you should still be able to serve your walk in customers the same regardless of reservation especially if you allow walk-ins. Worst service I've ever received and no one even said anything as we left . I wasn't able to spend any money yet before we left so that's the best thing about this experience sorry not sorry. read more

Once I received wind that there was a black owned lounge closeby I had to check it out! I was very excited so I decided to go for my 39th bday. That Friday night we tried to book a table for 6 online ($25 pp to book & it would be applied to the check) however, we were unable to book & were redirected to call. My husband called ALL Saturday and no one ever answered. We decided to have our party still show up Saturday night. My friend got there before us around 7:15 pm. She was advised that they were booked up and that if he could squeeze us in, we would have 1hr - 1.5hr before he would have to attend to his reservations. We arrived by 7:30 pm & were seated. At that time we learned that they were short staffed for the night & that a table is $250 and there is a $400 minimum. Okay, no problem. There is hookah, plenty of options for drinks, but not many options on the menu. The only entrees were 1. A Lamb Chop meal & 2. Rasta Pasta. Then there were maybe 5 appetizers. I can say everything was very tasty, there were no complaints from anyone in our party. The ambiance was very nice, the vibe is definitely mature, yet pretty casual. Once we were leaving around 10pm the DJ was just getting crank up with some slow 90's RnB. With the table cost & minimum my suggestions are a few more menu options and at least a slice of cake for those there to celebrate. read more
