They have some great couches and areas to sit and enjoy a cigar, huge flat screens playing the latest events and that aromatic scent of flavors. The humidor room is fairly nice and even more intimate! They keep it at a higher temperature compared to other local shops, but this preserves the cigars in the best way possible. Being in the plaza lot off Ventura Blvd/ Van Nuys Blvd with places like El Torito, Dojo Sushi, New York Bagel, VE Station and Gyu-Kaku to name a few, the lot can be pretty oversaturated at times, especially on the weekends. C.H. sells cigar boxes and accessories at reasonable prices, but are slightly more than other shops, again the quality and upkeep speaks of this small business. The guy who runs the store is pretty friendly, often in a dapper suit or stylish dress fit. I've been in a few times now and never had one bad experience. The walk-in humidor has some of the best selections of cigars you can find. If you don't know what you want, the owner provides great insight and recommends you a cigar based off of your experience and needs. If you choose to sit inside, it truly feels like being at that part of your home were you go to relax and unwind. There are multiple tvs with primetime UFC, NFL, NHL and NBA games. If you are looking to do some activities while you enjoy your cigar you can grab some friends and have a poker tournament or play some board games. Or you sit on one of the many sofas, read or get some work done. The outside patio feels serene. The lighting and set up of the patio gives an area of peace and quiet in an otherwise busy city. I definitely lean more medium bodied, also how I like my wine as well as whiskey/scotch/bourbon, but have come across a lot of light, not to mention full bodied flavors. They're happy to guide you, answer any questions you have as well as let you explore. They have some of if not the best whole sale prices I've come across in the valley, maybe even all of Los Angeles. Great premium cigars, accessories and more. A lot of cigar folks gather in front with their patio chair and table overlooking Lankershim. They have a huge selection as well as a backroom lounge. Open until 9pm, Monday through Thursday. Fridays and Saturday they stay opened until 10pm. Sundays there hour are from Noon to 8pm There's Wi-Fi, a flat screen in the lounge, plus a fair amount of tables and chairs.
