This is a great smoke shop, literally stacked with old and new school smoking accessories. Decent amount of gifts, incense, t-shirts, they even have a resident cat. Josh has always gone above and beyond every time I've come here with a smile on his face, the prices are super affordable, and there's everything you could hope for as far as selection. Definitely recommend. read more

I cruise by Giftworx now and then and have stopped in once or twice. Very cool t-shirts, gifts and miscellaneous items. It's very much a smoke shop with a wide range of items. I've made a misc purchase beanie purchase for Father's day - pretty easy, good deal/prices #SupportSmallBiz The service is super kind even if you don't find what you're looking for. I was curious if they sold crystals here as they definitely have that vibe, but they don't... however they're super knowledgeable and might even throw out a recommendation for local places that do. Tons of incenses, some fun decor including plants and cat mascot(s) working the sales floor. Easy shared parking lot with Nat's Early Bite and across from corner staples off Hazeltine Avenue & Burbank Blvd such as Harvest Market, The Original Coleys, King of Indian and the Chevron. They do have some cold beverages upfront - great for a thirsty hot day like these ones this summer so far. Giftworx is a gift #VanNuysVibes read more

The rudest owner I've ever encountered. Kept talking over me and would let me just browse in peace. And smelled really bad too which is ironic considering all of the incense he sells. read more

Gift word is a great place to shop for your leisure smoking needs or wants! Josh is super helpful and knowledgeable. What a great value this shop has good glass and not overpriced! I recommend this smoke shop super close to the freeway too ! read more

Dee was very helpful, by helping me buy the perfect gift. I love seeing their cat; overall I always get good vibes, when I come here.

Love the late night, mellow vibes here. Soo many goodies for my eyes to feast upon when entering the shop! So much tantalizing incense! Ohh! Ah! So many cool t-shirts! Look at all these vapes! Wait... am I allowed to say that? Ahem... and such pretty pipes and dab rigs! The sensory overload is strong in this place! I'm seriously not allowed to come in here if I haven't taken my afternoon dose of Adderall otherwise my brain feels like a pinball machine, and my eyes dart back & forth like I'm all hopped up on Mountain Dew, and I end up making too many impulsive purchases. Damn, I really didn't need that box of whippets, 10 different kinds of incense, 3 new bubblers, 5 ceramic tips for my Nectar Collectors, a Costco-sized jar of mannitol, and hey, wait... oops, I believe this gorgeous feline belongs to you guys *nervously chuckles and hands over a purring yet confused Chloe* Yep! That'll be all! Thanks, guys! In all seriousness, Giftworx is a great shop with comparable prices and excellent service. Although I'm a bit vampy, I try to stop by during the afternoon to say hi to Dee and enjoy a bit of existential conversation and sage wisdom. Dee is the man! And Giftworx is the jam! read more

Just came thru here and dude Josh was mad helpful. Just wanted to show some love. Spot is lit

Overpriced garbage guy acts like he can't cut me a deal like this is a corporate operation or something. Every other Smoke Shop is cheaper.

Been going here for over 20 years. Awesome, friendly staff. Great customer service. Highly recommend

Been coming here for many years and always have a fantastic experience! Very friendly and reasonably priced.

Friendliest guys you'll find. Definitely a must if you're looking for creative or affordable glass. Also they have the most intoxicating collection of incense in the store that you can smell before purchasing of course. The best part about the incense are that they're not your average oily stick, they're dry and burn fairly slow. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they also sell cone incense. In summary: if you smoke anything this is definitely the store for you. If you don't smoke that's okay this store is said to have a little bit of everything. (Tie dyed tees, sex toys, back packs, beautiful glass, jewlery, smoke filters, etc. you get the point) read more

I've been coming here throughout the years for various reasons. Sometimes I'd need joint papers, sometimes a male stem bowl piece, sometimes just a lighter. They are open late, and they will 100% have whatever you need in terms of ANYTHING YOU CAN SMOKE. The store itself has a very .. unique layout. Nothing bad, it's just interesting to see how the product sections change so quickly from one section to the next. They have a few displays FULL of glassware- all different types of bowls, nails, pieces, downstems, etc. They also have a LOT of WAX smoking products! MINI NECTAR COLLECTOR FOR $20 !!!!!!!!!!! Behind the counter is a wall filled with every kind of rolling material you want. Lighters, torches, butane refills.. They also have CHEAP glass water pipes/bongs, may be China glass but they are thick and as good as you can get for the price next to going to Chinatown yourself. D had been gone for a while, but he came back recently! Homie is EXTREMELY helpful and really just an all around stand up guy. I came by last week to buy some stuff and he knows me personally now since we always chop it up and talk about random stuff. It's a good feeling when you go to a store and the person working knows you and you can actually have a conversation that goes beyond the "fake" customer service talk. Aside from the selection and prices, I'd say he is a very integral part of why GIFTWORX may have been able to stay open all this time especially until midnight! When you go, tell him CHRIS with the "fake" subwoofers sent you, he'll take care of you! read more

My favorite place for unique gifts, great smelling and cleansing things, cool shirts, stickers and nice people.

WOW. Let me just say that I have my favorite smoke shops set into stone and I came here out of my element. Dimitry was the first to help me in my product choice. He way very elaborate and informational on all products concerning my interest. It's not often I come by this exceptional customer service. I decided to come again after the fact and Dee and poya helped me in the same way and were so welcoming. I gotta say I found my new favorite smoke shop and if I could I would Give more than 5 stars. read more

I came in today and purchased something that wasn't for me, the gentleman Dee saw I couldn't even say what was needed n was embarrassed. I told him and he saw me with tears and I explained to him why he told me things I already knew but he was very upfront and honest and had gave me advice I listened to and and thankful for. I am thankful I had met him Dee today. He went from customer service to a life coach and how to deal with things and become strong. Thank you Dee. Besides that I the store is 2 blocks from my house and I noticed they sell cartridges for juul and puff and I always have to go else where to buy them but now I know I can go right down the street read more

So glad I came here. Josh was really nice and attentive. From the moment I walked in I could just feel the good vibe. He was helping someone else but greeted me right away. He helped me pick the perfect piece and even wrapped it for me. I will definitely be going back. read more

I don't remember his name but I came in on 3/10 Wednesday around 10am. I went in for just some terp pearls for my banger but ended up buying a whole banger carb cap set up because I had such a great experience with the employee. I'm freshly mourning the deaths of my grandparents and I've been in a shit mood the past week. I was tired on my lunch break just wanted to make sure I have what I needed for when I get home and he made my day just by having a simple conversation with me about call of duty and dabbing. It just goes to show how the little things can really turn someone's day around because you never know what anyone is going through. read more

These guys are wonderful and have been wonderful to me since I started going there. They're loyal to their customers and always take care of their own, love them! Sorry for the previous negative review, I assure you it wasn't written by me!! Lol! read more

When i moved to sherman oaks I didnt know I'd moved near the friendliest / fairest shop I could find. They're open late, never give judgmental vibes, the glass assortment is expansive...they even carry local vape equipment. I was totally blessed one day when i came with my girlfriend to buy some atomizers, we got to meet the cat and it was totally chill. This is an SF valley staple, bring your friends read more

THE #1 SPOT IN THE VALLEY Dimitri(sorry for spelling) is an absolute GEM. He spent at least 15 mins with me making sure i was good, and expected nothing in return. By far best experience ive had. Crazy good customer service. Its a super cool shop itself, has a bunch of custom made items, tees, and anything else you need! read more

I've been coming here for about 10 years. I've bought everything from glass to incense and the prices & quality are always solid. Perfect place to get glass cleaning materials, birthday gifts for marijuana enthusiasts, sex toys, and everything in between. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and proud of their store. I forget his name, but a guy has been there since the 80s or 90s. He's the coolest. Larry is super awesome too. Overall great shop. I remember them having an adorably lazy kitty hanging about the place, but it wasn't there last time I went. The cat is a legend. Just like Giftworx. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I was looking to buy a bundle of sage to cleanse my new apartment and didn't know where to start. I had never bought sage so I was skeptical but as usual yelp never lets me down. This place was tucked away and opened a couple minutes after I pulled in. They had all types of stuff. Customer service was great and the cat was there to greet me!! read more

Came in after breaking a down stem while camping. Didn't get back till after 10pm. Was despaired till I realized these guys were right around the corner! Friendly service, wide range of options for what I needed, and they didn't try to rip me off(again it was late and they could of jacked up the price but I paid $10 bucks flat)! Definitely the spot to come in the valley! read more

I really love this place, everyone is super friendly and no question is too stupid to ask. A lot of places make you feel bad for not knowing what type of down stem you need or how to use a dab pipe. Giftworx isnt like that at all, its very inviting, they have a cute shop cat that hangs out. Good selection for such a small shop, and they give you good deals. If you need a certain item but dont have enough for it they work with you on the price which I think is pretty great. So far I have loved every piece Ive gotten from here and I got an awesome blow torch that works very well. Ive gone to other smoke shops but I always end up back here because I know they have some of the best prices in the area. read more

This place is amazing!! Poya (the owner) is the coolest guy you'll ever meet. Beyond that, the store has everything you can possibly need/want. My first time visiting, the staff were incredibly helpful and really took the time to understand what I needed. They then showed me some stuff I didn't even know existed -- and it was awesome! I swing by the store whenever I'm in the area just to see what new inventory they have. I really recommend you check this place out -- I promise you won't be disappointed. Just go and talk to the staff, and if Poya is there, definitely talk to him and you'll see what I mean. 5 stars!!!!!! read more

This smoke shop is awesome!!! I was looking for a certain Vaporizer which no one in Los Angeles seemed to have. I had given up hope till I walked into Giftworx. They had such a great selection of not only vaporizers, but glass pipes, water pipes, lighters, and to top it off, they had some of the best stickers and ash trays I had ever seen. The guy behind the counter was very informative. When I walked out their door I felt like I knew everything there was to know about my new vape pen. Who ever picks the glass pieces for this store should get a medal for being on top of his game. I false ound out that they are also open till Midnight!! Thank you Giftworx for providing such a wonderful service for our community. read more

This place is first class... they got everything you need! The first place I head after the dispensary is here. They're extremely well stocked with a ton of variety. Dee helped me out and hooked me up with perfect recommendations for what I wanted and made my decision making for getting a water pipe the easiest decision I've ever made. Head here to this head shop! read more

Meh. This place isn't that great. I mean he does have some cool bongs but PLEASE don't buy them here. It's overpriced and the bongs were covered in dust! He also has a cat that he just let's walk around the countertops, rubbing up on everything. Can you say unsanitary! Also even his pipes, bowls, and bowl pieces weren't that great. Very mediocre and severely over priced for the quality. As far as service, he wasn't extremely helpful but he wasn't a complete douche either. I wouldn't say he has an abundance of knowledge either on pieces and functionality and in general. I just can't get over the cat hair all over the bongs and the guy having the nerve to charge an arm and a leg for these severely average pieces. read more

This is my favorite smoke shop ever because it's not just a smoke shop... it's like Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. It has the coolest stuff ever. I bought a giant ashtray that's almost as tall as I am that looks like a cigarette and a cigarette case with a lighter and stickers, patches, all kinds of shit. The two guys who (I think) own it are SOOO AWESOME. They are really rad people and good people too. The store stays open late and it's the best, so go there right now. read more
