Smokey Drew’s BBQ started with a love for BBQ, family, and the dream of building something of our own. What began with our very first sales out of the house has grown into a business that means more to me and Pops than I can really put into words.
Today, we get to work side by side serving the same community that helped us grow from the beginning. Every prep day, every long service, every familiar face at the window, and every new customer who gives us a chance has become part of our story.
For us, Smokey Drew’s has never just been about food. It’s about family, community, quality, and making people feel welcome from the moment they walk up to the window. We take a lot of pride in what we serve, but even more pride in the relationships we’ve built along the way.
This community has supported us, encouraged us, and helped turn a small dream into something real. Me and Pops are incredibly grateful for that, and we’ll continue doing everything we can to serve great BBQ, give back when we’re able, and make the people who support us proud.

History
Established in 2024.
Smokey Drew’s BBQ started with our very first sale out of the house on September 28, 2024. What began as a passion for BBQ quickly became something much bigger than we imagined.
As word spread and support grew, we kept learning, improving, and building. On June 2, 2025, I took Smokey Drew’s BBQ full-time and fully committed to the business.
On February 7, 2026, we officially opened the Smokey Drew’s BBQ food truck, a huge milestone for me and Pops and a reflection of everything we had worked toward.
Since then, we have continued serving our community every Wednesday and Saturday, growing our customer base, expanding our menu, and building relationships throughout Central Florida.
What started at home has grown into a family business, a local brand, and a major part of our lives. It has all been built through hard work, consistency, word of mouth, and the support of this community.
We are still growing, still learning, and still just getting started.
Meet the Business Owner: Drew P.
I’m Drew, the owner of Smokey Drew’s BBQ. What started as a passion for cooking BBQ at home turned into something I never could have imagined. I’m blessed to run this business alongside my Pops, and having my family involved makes every long day worth it.
For me, this has never just been about selling BBQ. It’s about building something my family can be proud of, serving my community, and putting real passion into everything we do. I’m still learning every day, still improving, and still incredibly grateful for every person who chooses to support us.
At the end of the day, I’m just a family man who loves BBQ, loves people, and is thankful I get to do what I love with the people I love.
