I ordered a medium cooked 9oz sirloin to enjoy a meal with my friend. What I recieved was a very thin well done leather like and dry as sand in your mouth piece. They sent that out of their kitchen and to the customer as if that's OK and refused to make it right with me. Grant it I ordered it thru the grub hub that they recommended for delivery, yet grub hub doesn't do redeliver as well.. not a good experience with them twice. read more

Showed up around 6 pm on Saturday night. Moderate crowd with a short wait. Host/hostess never smiled the entire time. Sat at a booth and waiter was over in no time (smiling). Took our drink order and asked about appetizers. After bringing drinks, took our order and food was brought out fairly quick. I had the prime rib ordered med rare. It came out med rare!. Food was great and drinks were cold. Waiter checked on us several times during the meal. Overall a really good experience! read more

Went to this Smokey Bones location for the very last time tonight. We had a couple of older gift cards to use and decided to go there. Our last two trips to Smokey Bones on Miller Lane have been a total disappointment with extremely slow service and poor food quality. This place is just a shadow of its former self. My wife's steak was way overcooked and dry and my beef brisket platter had far too much fat and not enough meat! The broccoli was overcooked and soggy. Additionally, prices are high compared to other locations offering similar fare for far less money. Hickory River in Tipp City is 10 times better than Smokey Bones on Miller Lane. read more

Smoked wings and baked potatoes for the table. The service was exceptional and the food was decent. Clean and plenty of space. Well lit and plenty of options including the bar. read more

Decent atmosphere, although a bit tired and in need of refreshing and cleaning. The ribs were a bit dried out and overdone and the sauce was scant and underwhelming. The Boston baked beans are very good. Prices were excessive. Service was very good. read more

Came in around 4pm and let me tell you what it was a shock that no one had a good vibe...no music playing even the servers and management had no urgency it was like they were there to be there..as for the food part the buy one get one wings is a great deal, but when dealing with smoked wings you have make sure you season them.. the orders i got were only dissatisfied but they had no seasoning on them..I may come back but it will be a while read more

Poor quality food and service and expensive. Bad experience here. Sat at the bar for over 15 minutes before even being acknowledged for service. Should have left then. read more

Our server, Natasha, was terrific! She was exceptionally helpful and friendly, as well as being prompt and attentive. The baby back ribs, sauces, and bbq baked beans were all wonderful. The wedges, though, were the best I've ever had! The garlic toast. . . Meh. read more

Bartender was good. The nachos were subpar, not much cheese. The bathroom had no paper towels or toilet paper in my stall. Then the tp wouldn't come out of the holder in another stall. read more

And that's a generous 3 stars. We walked in and were seated right away, the hostess said the server would be with us right away. A few minutes went by and looking around the room, there were about 5 tables occupied out of the 30 tables in the place, our table counted 6. There were no servers out on the floor and outside of myself, there were other looking around like, where is everybody. Several more minutes went by and finally a server came to our table and began to apologize for the wait (and poor service which we were about to get) because she was hosting her kids birthday party. By the way, she did not disappoint with the poor service. 1 star When she did show up we had our complete order ready. I ordered the grilled shrimp with fries and the corn and my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of coleslaw. We also asked for waters with our beers. The beers came after about 7-10 minutes (remember, hardley anyone in the place)....still no waters. During the time we were waiting, we were indulging in the reviews left by others in Yelp. Not Good! I wish we would have read these first, but we were 5 1/2 hours on the road and were hungry. The food came not too much after that but was delivered by a kitchen staff. Thus the reason for the 3 stars, the food was pretty good, not spectacular but good. Oh and by the way... still no waters! To sum up other yelp comments, and Business Manager replies....Don't you people do anything about the poor reviews other than put out some crappy pre canned response. How about doing something about the crap service and food for the last couple years. read more

Smokey Bones/ Miller Lane OMG! Host was epitome of "oh snap! never want to eat here again and about to walk out.." and on Turkey Day to boot. Waitress flipped things around with a happy "yep glad to be here attitude" and made the visit jovial. Opting for 3 out of 5 to "front of house" host ruining the 1st impression. Nice one Jameirra! And first trip back to Smokey Bones with 85 yo mom after losing dad. Management might want to re-think staffing position? loL Kudos to the waitress Alyssa, 100% professional and fun. Food was great and presentation top notch. Kitchen even humored my vegetarian needs. Good all around experience. 5 out of 5 to kitchen and wait staff. Def lil tough getting past the snobby kid at front door. Q1: Is the food and drink really worth dealing with a young punk attitude with so many options on Miller Lane? You tell me. Overall giving 4 o' 5 cuz feeling thankful to get dindin with zer0 prep or cleanup. Yelp! PS.. Just remember kids, ya nev know what sh1tstorm life's just thrown at someone right before walking thru your door. This might just be a moment to seize the day! read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Service was absolutely terrible. The server wasn't bad, but the service coming from the bar was absolutely horrendous. This isn't the first time we've had issues with the bartender. To be frank, she's absolutely awful. We ordered two drinks and it took literally almost 20 minutes to get to our table. At one point I looked over at the bar area and the bartender was on her phone. Food was ok, but if you want a drink with your meal this isn't the place to go. read more

Giving three stars for the food alone. Service was abysmal and the first time in ages we tipped less than 10%. Also we did not expect to spend more than $42/person even with a few bar drinks (which should have been comped considering it took 30 minutes to get them to our table!). That was the start of the downhill slide with this wait person. We stacked app plates in the center and guessed when entrees started arriving they would be picked up. Wrong. We also asked for beverage refills, including water, and those glasses were mounting on the table too. We had to finally flag another wait person down to order desert, which weren't worth the cost or the time it took to get them. When they did arrive we had to ask OG wait person to remove some of the used dishes from the table. That was probably the last straw. We don't plan on a return trip when there are so many great barbecue places around the area. read more

Its gotten worse. They are very disorganized. Last visit took for ever to seat us. They weren't busy. then they took drink orders. For 2 tables sat after us. We got up left and went over to the olive garden next door. As for the GM who told me to email him, I did. Never heard back. read more

Three of us had lunch here today. I had the Morning glory burger. I ordered and it was served medium which was great. However, it comes with a fried egg and the egg was almost fully cooked, would have been so much better runny. 4 bbq sauces available- Carolina mopping, Kansas City, mustard, Chipotle. For my burger I added chipotle bbq sauce. Broccoli was cooked about right and tasted great. Pulled pork sandwich with beans. I was told that it tasted good. Brisket sandwich and fries. He would have liked more smoke flavor but said it was ok. The place is large and maybe 1/4 filled at lunch. I would have thought more would have been there. Service: attentive. Price was right. But some items aren't available until after 4 (maybe due to smoking times?) the brisket is an example. I'd be willing to try it again. . read more

The service was poor. We ordered our drinks. I had ordered a beer which I didn't receive. I could see it sitting at the bar. A colleague and I went to Smokey Bones last night for our yearly dinner and conversation to catch up. The hostess was barely present. The booths were greasy and sloppily wiped. Table was greasy. We moved over one table and it was the same. Condiment bottles were filthy and oily to touch. We ordered, and the waitress simply couldn't understand the simple request to hold the BBQ sauce that comes on the tacos. We asked for chicken, and when it arrived it was pulled pork, but at least they did manage to hold the sauce. My Caesar salad was wilted, warm, and swimming in dressing. The plate was dirty and greasy all around the rim. Same for my mushroom burger; served om a filthy plate. It tasted ok, but was unappealing to eat off dirty plates. It seemed pointless to ask for better service. Their menus is somewhat overpriced as well. I've been several times pre-pandemic, but will never visit them again. I half expected to wake up this morning with food poisoning from the lack of cleanliness. If this is how their tables and plates are, you know the staff aren't keeping the food prep area clean. We paid and tipped well, but that's the last they'll ever see of us or anyone we know. read more

It should close. The hostess never looked up from her chart, never greeted us, mumbled when she did speak. She sat us at a large booth. We had a party of 2. Asked her if we could sit at a smaller table for 4. She rolled her eyes and had a very negative attitude. We sat at the smaller table. I looked to my left and noticed a couple that was obviously frustrated. I asked if they had been waiting long to be served. They said yes and don't expect service anytime soon. We left. You won't stay open this way. Read and provide your staff customer service training. "Givem the pickle" would be a great place to start. read more

Slowest service anywhere!! Very PRICEY! $25/brisket meal and it came with only 4 small slices of brisket and2 small sides. Don't go if you want to eat in a reasonable amount of time. Food was good but took almost an hr to get it-took 15 min to be seated and there may have been 5 tables or ppl total in the whole place. Sunday afternoon read more

If I was just grading the food I would give a 1 star rating. My boyfriend and I ordered the Brisket Chili. It was terrible. Very soupy, very little meat. My boyfriend counted a total of 5 beans in his soup. There was also chunks of fat in the soup which we would have to spit out in a napkin multiple times. The waitress came by and ask how we liked our food. I told Christina it was terrible soup and I would never order it again. Christina ask if she could get us anything else to replace the soup. (Because Christina did the right thing and tried to take care of the situation I would give her 5 stars) I did have Christina give me the pulled pork soup. It was decent. My boyfriend felt bad about asking for something else so he forced the soup down. :( read more

Our server destiny was nice and food was pretty good. Unfortunately, Lunch and experience was ruined by the fire alarm going on and off for the whole meal and as we left. This started a couple minutes after we ordered and we didn't want to just leave. This seems to be something management was aware of as they were able to tell us what the issue was moments after the alarm began sounding for the first time. We were told that it shouldn't be an issue for long and decided to stay but even after the fire department arrived the alarm continued to sound. I cannot recommend this location as my ears were shot and I was quite upset by the time our checks arrived and there was no consideration by management for our inconvenience and ruined meal. read more

I had been to a Smokey bones before in west Chester and it was okay. Not a place that I would frequent regularly. Thought I would give them another try. This will be the last time I step foot in one. We went in to this location. Were seated and sat for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged. The hostess left menus on the table and that was it. The menus were nasty. Sticky with who knows what on them and torn. After 15 minutes of just sitting there we left. I told the hostess on the way out very politely and she didn't even comment. Acted like she could care less. One of the most poorly run restaurants I have ever been in. I wouldn't waste my time going here. read more

Arrived late (8 pm) on a Wednesday evening. Few other patrons. The place initially looked awesome. Lightly staffed, we had to wait several minutes for someone who didn't smile to greet us and show us to a table. After the wait to be seated, the next disappointment was the debris on the floor - within 10 feet of our table there were a fork, a napkin and some other paper on the floor. A member if the staff walking by the end if the row with a broom and dust pan raised our hopes, but didn't bother to come down our row. Our waitress walked by the debris on the floor several times. The wait staff was not unpleasant. We ordered our meal. I went to the men's room to wash hands. Two sinks there, one was stopped up and filled with dirty water, and a handwritten sign noting that it was out of order. Thanks for pointing that out. Wife reported the same problem in the women's room. This problem is so easy to fix.... We both ordered the "pulled pork sammy". She with broccoli, I with cole slaw. The sandwiches were actually quite good. The sides were unremarkable. There were 4 bottles if various sauces at each table. Each bottle was sticky. We paid and left. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone we care for. read more

We were seated immediately, but at that point the service was over. We sat at our booth for at least 15 minutes. Several waiters walked by, but no one stopped to take our order. january 5 placed an order for carry out. I ordered the family feast which should have come with 2 pint side orders and an extra pint ofMac and cheese. also ordered two orders of the banana pudding. with tip the order came to $185.00. when I drove the hour to get home I found that I was missing the side orders and found a small Mac and cheese and 8 banana puddings. I called to report the errors and was advised they would have have the order ready for pickup. I said I lived too far away and with the weather could not come back. they gave me to an assistant manager who advised she would refund some of my order then the phone was passed to another woman who said no they would have the order for me to pick up the next day and then hung up on me because I was getting upset. I emailed corporate the following day and have heard nothing in response. we have eaten at this restaurant numerous times but with this type of service will not choose to go again. it was definitely was a wake up call and I can't see going to this restautant again or recommending it to anyone. read more

Normally I love these guys, but they were really really slow. They have some amazing meats. When I'm craving grilled me this is the place to go. Apparently Sunday night is not the time to go there. We were literally sitting at our table for a whole hour, 60 full minutes, waiting for our food. It should not take that long to make 2 mac & cheese one soup and two salads. It should take 15 minutes tops. Maybe they were training new people, maybe they were understaffed, but that was not their normal performance. read more
