We haven't always gotten the best service at Frickers, especially at our location in Springfield, but I'll give credit where credit is due... We had a GREAT experience here recently, much better than past visits, when it seemed like you had to be a table full of AWESOMELY CUTE GUYS to get any attention from your waitress (except when it was time to get your bill!!) That wasn't the case during our recent visit to this location, and it was a welcome change!! We share a chips and cheese appetizer, a fricken' chicken pizza (yep, that's what they call it), and Bob had a chicken sandwich with fries. Quick, friendly service, and we never felt rushed. This location, in my opinion, has a better, more open set-up than the Springfield location, and at least during our visit, a much more attentive, better trained crew. The service was great by Maysun and the atmosphere was good. It's a little loud but alot of locals that know each other so that is good. I got the chicken frickers nachos and they were very good. I just had to order 2 extra sour cream which cost extra because they come in a little cup. I would recommend this place and it was my first time at this restaurant. It is very dark in this frickers as I had to use my flashlight to read the menu but I thought it was just me but saw that someone else also noticed that. My first time getting take out at Frickers which was brought out to my car (within 10 minutes of ordering) by the friendly staffer even though this was not part of the service. No one inside. I ordered at the desk inside and had a 10oz of fried shrimp in a choice of garlic and herbs sauce (lots of flavor options here) and also some Curley fries should have asked for catsup. This was just a snack we ate in our car right in front to hold us over. This is normally a sports bar and attracts patrons to come together for a meal and chat. It's been a few years since I've eaten at a Fricker's but it used to be a favorite lunch place when I traveled in the Dayton area for business. We arrived around 2 pm on a Friday and they were in the process of preparing for a Halloween party on Friday evening. The restaurant wasn't overly busy at this time of day but still had a number of people in for a late lunch. The service was very good and prompt. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with coleslaw while my wife had the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Our meals came out quickly and were served hot. The pork tenderloin was served in the traditional Indiana style -- i.e. the tenderloin was about twice as big as the bun. It was cooked perfectly and was very good. To be honest, the food and service here deserve more than 5 stars. This location is just so damn dark on the inside. It is a very busy location with servers that deserve medals for manuvering around the chair and tables in the dark. All while remaining super friendly and helpful. We have visited this Fricker's a couple of times in the Covid Era. It's still a very loud sports bar. The paper menus are printed in such tiny font that none of the nearly-fifty crowd at our table can read them- we either have to get the kids to help us, or we pull out the old lady reading glasses, LOL! Tables are somewhat spaced out, and employees wear some kind of face mask. They don't force customers to wear them from what I've seen, but there are at least some signs up. read more

I paid no mind to the experience because I knew what I was getting myself into. I was kind and welcoming to the server because making a scene at a wing joint is not worth my time. I paid the bill and made my way out of this dump knowing I'll never be back. Times have definitely changed with the service/restaurant industry. People just no longer give a shit about a good product. They just wanna get you in and out and on to the next. People no longer have work ethic and could care less about the customer. This is a typical stop when we are in this area. The food always tastes fresh and good. Service is quick and despite being busy, the food came out relatively quickly. I ordered the baked wings tossed in medium buffalo sauce with a side of bleu cheese dressing. The wings were cooked perfectly. They were juicy and they weren't doused in sauce. Mixed feelings. I got the chicken chunks. The chicken was moist but the color was off putting. It was weird. Also very greasy. My husband got the traditional hot wings and garlic Parmesan wings. Specialty micro-brews as well as domestic. The best part of the experience is the staff. They are fast friendly and professional. They also pay attention to your glass and never let you have to ask them for another. They are very engaging with the customers and treat you like you've been friends for ever. Attended a birthday party for my granddaughter at Frickers in Huber Heights on Feb 27th. Within 24 hours almost everyone who attended came down with what appeared to be food poisoning. Most became very ill. When I spoke with the general manager all she could say was that without a doctor saying it was food poisoning, there's nothing she can do about it. We all became very ill and she just blew it all off. The lack of concern on the general manager's part was quite disturbing. We had nachos, ribs, chicken chuncks and beer. They have a wonderful selection of ciders. My favorite was the raspberry. I hated the food. I would have preferred a little more cheese on the nachos and the tomatoes were gross. The ribs were hard and dry. We had fun playing the video games and air hockey with the kids. Seat Yourself to Classic Chicken Wings! I love Frickers and this location has been here since at least 2003. The staff has always consistently been pleasant and the food delicious. Frickers has multiple theme nights where the all girl service staff may dress up in Bikinis and Christmas attire. We were surprised that on Christmas Eve they were open until 2am! The sauces are not fancy, mostly just versions of traditional hot sauce with temperatures like Kicker (Hot) and Little Kicker (More Mild). My favorite is the Frick'in Chicken Pizza. This 8 inch style pizza can serve two with banana peppers, chicken chunks, and cheese covered in your favorite sauce, which for me is Hot BBQ. You can always count on some dinning or drink special here.There is also an outdoor patio and arcade room! Plus the traditional sports bar with two to three TV's on each wall. Slightly disappointment in the wait time for food, which can take a long time on a discount night, the side salad toppings, and the Mississippi nachos, which had great reviews, but came out cold and no BBQ sauce.
