We had a GREAT experience here recently, much better than past visits, when it seemed like you had to be a table full of AWESOMELY CUTE GUYS to get any attention from your waitress (except when it was time to get your bill!!) That wasn't the case during our recent visit to this location, and it was a welcome change!! We share a chips and cheese appetizer, a fricken' chicken pizza (yep, that's what they call it), and Bob had a chicken sandwich with fries. Quick, friendly service, and we never felt rushed. This location, in my opinion, has a better, more open set-up than the Springfield location, and at least during our visit, a much more attentive, better trained crew. My first time getting take out at Frickers which was brought out to my car (within 10 minutes of ordering) by the friendly staffer even though this was not part of the service. No one inside. I ordered at the desk inside and had a 10oz of fried shrimp in a choice of garlic and herbs sauce (lots of flavor options here) and also some Curley fries should have asked for catsup. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with coleslaw while my wife had the chicken bacon ranch pizza. Our meals came out quickly and were served hot. The pork tenderloin was served in the traditional Indiana style -- i.e. the tenderloin was about twice as big as the bun. It was cooked perfectly and was very good. It is a very busy location with servers that deserve medals for manuvering around the chair and tables in the dark. All while remaining super friendly and helpful. We have visited this Fricker's a couple of times in the Covid Era. It's still a very loud sports bar. The paper menus are printed in such tiny font that none of the nearly-fifty crowd at our table can read them- we either have to get the kids to help us, or we pull out the old lady reading glasses, LOL! Specialty micro-brews as well as domestic. The best part of the experience is the staff. They are fast friendly and professional. Attended a birthday party for my granddaughter at Frickers in Huber Heights on Feb 27th. Within 24 hours almost everyone who attended came down with what appeared to be food poisoning. Most became very ill. When I spoke with the general manager all she could say was that without a doctor saying it was food poisoning, there's nothing she can do about it. We all became very ill and she just blew it all off. The lack of concern on the general manager's part was quite disturbing. Seat Yourself to Classic Chicken Wings! I love Frickers and this location has been here since at least 2003. The staff has always consistently been pleasant and the food delicious. Frickers has multiple theme nights where the all girl service staff may dress up in Bikinis and Christmas attire. We were surprised that on Christmas Eve they were open until 2am! The sauces are not fancy, mostly just versions of traditional hot sauce with temperatures like Kicker (Hot) and Little Kicker (More Mild). My favorite is the Frick'in Chicken Pizza. This 8 inch style pizza can serve two with banana peppers, chicken chunks, and cheese covered in your favorite sauce, which for me is Hot BBQ. You can always count on some dinning or drink special here.There is also an outdoor patio and arcade room! Plus the traditional sports bar with two to three TV's on each wall. Slightly disappointment in the wait time for food, which can take a long time on a discount night, the side salad toppings, and the Mississippi nachos, which had great reviews, but came out cold and no BBQ sauce. I love the size of the wings served here and their BBQ sauce is a unique, tangy surprise. However, this alone does not make up for the mess going on in this restaurant. The waitresses have far too many tables each to be able to properly meet the needs off all the customers they are assigned. This led to long waits between refills and long waits to have any special requests fulfilled. The food did arrive quickly, delivered by members of the kitchen or potentially someone assigned to this specific tasks. The wings were great, the chicken chunks were equally good despite their hot sauce having too much of a vinegar taste. My wife loves pork tenderloin sandwiches and the sandwich here is at the bottom of the list of local vendors selling this sandwich. Clearly to pounded out and flattened like a traditional breaded tenderloin would be. It was very greasy, taste was questionable, and the toppings were skimpy.
