This is a very busy locals restaurant. If you're gonna go, make sure that you have cash. The prices are exception, like I believe the service was very good and the waitress staff was extremely pleasant. That was 10 years ago.... never again. 1/2 order is plenty! and I'm a big man, not a "half order" kinda guy. All meals are big portions. The girls who wait tables are super, treat you like a regular. Hard to empty a coffee cup, they are always there with a fresh pot. So then had to drive all the way to a gas station and pull out cash they weren't very nice to me. What kind of restaurant only accepts cash this isn't a dive bar. My fiancé had to stay there by herself for probably about 15-20 minutes while I went to go get cash. I didn't get a thank you or anything. They told me they don't take cash because they don't have WiFi. How hard is it to get WiFi and a card reader. Servers would make more money if they hard card readers also. read more

Went this morning for breakfast- Let me start by saying up until the last 2 visits this has been our "go to" place for breakfast. This morning- Only 1 of 3 waitresses wearing a mask. Social distancing DOES NOT exist at Smokehouse. Plus there is a "waitress" that does not believe in refilling coffee cups. So when you order coffee better order 2 cups at a time because after she takes your order she strolls back to the register, and stands there checking her phone ( she is 1 of the staff without a mask). She will eventually bring your food, but you will not see her again until you are leaving. She got a 10% tip today we usually tip at least 20% and she was lucky to get that. My biggest complaint is their lack of proper PPE's and social distancing. read more

First time I ever had biscuits and gravy was at Smokey's, not being from the south, I was knocked out, let me tell you. Still to this day nowhere else compares. The waitress came over not long after the migraine started and i ordered my food. The biscuits tasted like they were poorly mixed, i got a few solid bites of flour. The gravy was bland and overly salty and the sausage patty was full of fat and gristle...yep a chopped up left over scrap patty...horrible...the only remotely edible part of the meal were the eggs and they werent that fantastic...so yeah 10 dollars and a migrane later i would never return to or recommend this slop shack...save your money and just go to dennys or somethin. read more

Everybody who says the best sausage gravy and biscuits are here, is right! Wow. And the garlic toast, onion rings, and baked beans during lunch are equally delicious.
