Failed my car over a filter cover. Whole air intake system is oem minus the cover which was on the car since bought new in 2002. Filter, piping, sensors all oem. Car has passed every single emissions test since then with no issues until I came here. Please be aware when you take your car here. read more

I've been on yelp for many years and this is my first time writing a review. It was that bad. On my way to smog my truck the check engine light came on. I didn't think this would effect an emissions test so I continued in to this business. Upon completion of the test the technician was quiet until he received payment then told me the truck failed because of the check engine light. I asked him if a check engine light is an automatic fail and he said it was. I asked why he bothered doing the test if he knew it was going to fail (I know the reason is he still gets paid if the truck fails). He said it is "illegal" for him to ask me questions before the test and "I'm paying for an education". Meaning I'm paying $50 to learn that a check engine light is an automatic fail. After that super condescending remark he told me he mixed up my registration paperwork and gave it to someone else. So now the tweaker-looking guy that was there before me has some of my personal information. Awesome. Do not take your vehicle to this place! read more

Brought my prius in to get smogged, it cost $5 less than any other location, and was over so quickly that when we got back from walking the dogs we thought that they hadn't finished! The owner had to run out and stop us from doing another walk around the block (we had our dogs with us). Quick, easy, and polite. read more

I arrived at noon with 2 customers ahead of me. Only one man was performing smog checks. At 1:00, he told me that my car failed because the check engine light never came on and I could get rechecked for only $29 within 30 days. I paid and then went out to my car. I started the car and the check engine light came on as usual. I went back in to complain and showed it to him and he said he would correct the situation. He had to RETEST my car again after 2 more customers! I didn't leave there until 2:00. He never said sorry and said that he would be fair and not charge me for the retest, The nerve!!
