Oscar was very helpful. Made getting my car smogged so much less stressful than it would have been going anywhere else. Great job!! Would recommend to any family or friend. read more

I paid cash, less than what I expected to pay. I went in on a Friday at 4pm, and was out by 4:25 with one person in front of me. It's mostly an outdoor setting but gets lots of afternoon shade because the shop faces East. I've been coming here for 3 or 4 years and I'll definitely be back. read more

Failed my car over a filter cover. Whole air intake system is oem minus the cover which was on the car since bought new in 2002. Filter, piping, sensors all oem. Car has passed every single emissions test since then with no issues until I came here. Please be aware when you take your car here. read more

I have been coming back because he is nice and does the the job quickly in about 20 minutes. The cost would have been $40 but since my car is older and made in 1995, I paid an additional $15 for an evaporative test. The coupon from http://smogtips.com is still good. read more

The service was good, the employee was friendly and I was literally done w/ my inspection in 20 minutes. Excellent price, and more importantly I was out of there very quickly... Definitely go back for future smog checks. read more

Did not accept the coupon. was not satisfied with the service. I will say they were quick but the service provided by the employee or manager was not satisfactory. I ended up paying more than I needed to when I was trying to save money read more

Very good experience dealing with Smog Zone. This was the first time doing business with them. I found the gentleman working there to be very courteous and friendly. Not only did he complete the test in about 20 minutes, but I was also able to use the coupon offered and the total cost was only $40 for both the inspection and smog certificate. Very pleased and I will definitely use their services again. read more

Smog Zone is the best smog shop in the IE!!! I have taken my Acura TL and Honda Civic here and both times the service was excellent. Oscar is a professional and his service is top notch! He knows his stuff, is honest and works fast! He is very knowledgeable about all cars and gives great advice on keeping your engine smog test ready. I will be bringing my cars here for smog checks from now on and I have referred all my friends here. If you are looking for an honest shop with excellent service, Smog Zone is the place! You will not be disappointed. read more

This is my 3rd visit here and it was as simple as 1,2,3! In and out within 30 minutes. $40 covers all fees. Keep your engine stock and you won't have any smog problems =) read more

I've been on yelp for many years and this is my first time writing a review. It was that bad. On my way to smog my truck the check engine light came on. I didn't think this would effect an emissions test so I continued in to this business. Upon completion of the test the technician was quiet until he received payment then told me the truck failed because of the check engine light. I asked him if a check engine light is an automatic fail and he said it was. I asked why he bothered doing the test if he knew it was going to fail (I know the reason is he still gets paid if the truck fails). He said it is "illegal" for him to ask me questions before the test and "I'm paying for an education". Meaning I'm paying $50 to learn that a check engine light is an automatic fail. After that super condescending remark he told me he mixed up my registration paperwork and gave it to someone else. So now the tweaker-looking guy that was there before me has some of my personal information. Awesome. Do not take your vehicle to this place! read more

Best smog place in town. I have a Honda Civic that didn't want to pass the smog check. The employees were very nice and gave advice on what to do to fix the problem. After coming back the second time, problem was solved. Very honest employees, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Affordable, fast, and good customer service. read more

Guy was nice but I think he over charged me. He told me that it was going to be $49 and on my CC statement it came up to $59. Since I tossed out the receipt, I'm S.O.L. Service was fast. read more

I have to say that ALMOST everyone was correct with their reviews here. I brought my vehicle in to get a smog check and also brought in a SmogTips coupon. It was originally $50 but he did honor the coupon and got it for $40. Very nice individual and professional partner. I will recommend him to everyone I know. read more

Brought my prius in to get smogged, it cost $5 less than any other location, and was over so quickly that when we got back from walking the dogs we thought that they hadn't finished! The owner had to run out and stop us from doing another walk around the block (we had our dogs with us). Quick, easy, and polite. read more

Super fast! Less than 20 minutes. Friendly service. Pass...or re-test is free. I came in expecting a wait or lots of paperwork. No wait and super easy. FYI, if you map this address, the directions take you to Arco. It is NOT Arco, it is behind Arco in the shopping center. Turn in the driveway to El Superior. It's on the left side. read more

Showed up just before 10am on a Saturday. There was 1 car ahead of me. I was done and out in an hour. Use the online coupon and you are out the door for $42 (I paid with plastic). I will definitely be back for my next one. read more

Did a lot of searching before taking both of my cars here. Glad I found this one. The gentleman was very nice. It was super fast (20 minutes top), which is great since I was on my lunch break! Out the door, my car was $42 (with certificate) & my SUV was $52. The only negative is the $2 credit card fee they add to the costs. But we will go here for all future smog checks. read more

I arrived at noon with 2 customers ahead of me. Only one man was performing smog checks. At 1:00, he told me that my car failed because the check engine light never came on and I could get rechecked for only $29 within 30 days. I paid and then went out to my car. I started the car and the check engine light came on as usual. I went back in to complain and showed it to him and he said he would correct the situation. He had to RETEST my car again after 2 more customers! I didn't leave there until 2:00. He never said sorry and said that he would be fair and not charge me for the retest, The nerve!! I will not go back to this place!!!!! read more
