Awesome people there...nice and professional my wife went there for a smog and she said it was a great place with great workers

The wait time for the Groupon time was so long that can't justify the price for the wait tbh. The young guy did come up to me as he saw I was waiting which was cool so I'm sure service is good just avoid the Groupon deal tbh read more

I've used this place 5 times. Always top notch service and very competitive pricing. I've been lucky enough to have a very short wait. Very convenient. Business next door does car wash and window tinting. read more

Discovered this place through Groupon. It was an easy and quick service. Got what I needed, mentioned the offer, only had to pay $10 for the certificate (which was mentioned on the Groupon deal). Younger guy that attended me was very helpful and made whole process quick and easy. read more

Fast and reasonably priced. Appointment is a big win. I didn't wait more than about 15 mins.

Smog test needed for DMV. A friend told me about her positive experience at Smog Kings in Inglewood, CA, Father and son were both so helpful and nice. Came in early and very short wait. Used Groupon- there was no question, Voucher processed quickly, I paid the electronic transfer fee and state certificate and that was it! I highly recommend Smog Kings for their professional and courteous service! read more

I took my car there for a smog check recently Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend! read more

Speed and quality were great! Truly recommend this business. They were no nonsense, the way it should be

Got a Smog Check, Great Service, price was right, very busy place, so have time. They also do car tinting!

I went in last night for a smog check. Julian was awesome and super helpful - i showed up around 5:30pm (bonus points for being open after I'm off work!!) he works quick and efficiently and is a very transparent and nice person! Def recommended for smog checks!! read more

Service was extremely fast and excellent! I got a smog check and used the Groupon code. The value is incredible and everyone was extremely friendly. And if you go again they will honor the price of what you paid! read more

IDK about this place....but obviously don't like to serve black people. I have been up to this place 3 times to try to get a smog check. On the 3rd time, I arrived and it was nobody there ahead of me. They told me to wait 10 minutes. I notice 2 cars pull up, the car pulling up beside me was a hispanic woman. One of the men approach her car and immediately start to assist her. I ask, why are you helping her when I arrived first? He claims that she "called" him (yet when asked the last time I arrived they said it's FIRST come first serve) plus I tried to call multiple times with NO answer. It's beyond rude and not kind to new customers !!!! I will never come back here and do NOT recommend to a friend. read more

Thanks Eddy for getting me in and out quick. Had a short wait behind somebody else but that was no issue since my smog check was quick. In all it was about 20 minutes. Great deal if you use Groupon and the smog certificate is extra $10 cash. Couldn't enter from the side street since it's closed off. Must enter via front driveway. read more

I had a Groupon for a smog check, it was quick and easy to get done. The only note is that I called the day before explaining I had a Groupon. I wanted to see if I needed an appointment to come in. The man on the phone said no, I can come in anytime. I arrived the next day around 1145am, but they were not open. The car wash people said they would likely be in around noon so I waited the 15 minutes. They did open, and the owner (I'm assuming), said they don't normally take Groupons today (a Thursday) but he was very friendly and did it anyway when I told him I had called prior and the employee said to come in anytime. Besides that hiccup, they were very nice, quick, and efficient. The whole process took about 10-15 minutes. read more

I went here for a smog check. It was $60 for my type of car! $62 if you want to pay using a card. I would recommend calling in advance to get a quote then bringing cash to avoid the extra dollars. Overall, the service was quick and easy! I would come here again! read more

Amazing service and staff with great prices. Everything was quick and done by the time I came out the restroom

Found this place on Groupon. Purchased my voucher at 11am and redeemed at 1pm. Super easy and great customer service! I was in and out with my Smog Check completed in under thirty minutes. They don't have tons of seating, But definitely worth it for the deal and the great service! Thanks read more

I called multiple smog locations for price quotes and Smog Kings price was unmatched. Julian was knowledgeable and friendly. Taking under consideration that I was the only customer, the service took under 15 minutes. read more

Great service, friendly, quick, and great price. 10 stars. Highly recommended. I'll definitely come back.

F. This. Place. Waste of time!!! I drove through LA traffic for 30 min to get here on two separate occasions within the stated hours on Yelp (which had "just been updated a few days ago"), and both times they were closed. Why cant they be open during normal business hours that are stated on their own Yelp page? So unprofessional. Made it seem like it was my fault for not calling ahead to make sure it was open - since when does one need to call ahead to make sure a business is open during normal business hours? I got a Groupon for a smog check and they said they "don't do Tuesdays" and insisted it was stated on the Groupon but I looked on both the Groupon buy page as well as the coupon itself and this was NOT stated anywhere. This place wasted so much of my time. now i have to fight through groupon customer service to try to get my $ back. I ended up driving to star auto in culver where it was a quick, efficient, PROFESSIONAL drive through experience. go to star auto instead!!! read more

Super quick, staff was very helpful, and CANT beat the price! Was able to get in and out of my smog check quickly!

Fast and easy service and friendly staff. I sent family to get their smogs here and they were happy too. I recommend Smog Kings for smog checks. read more

So glad I found out about Smog Kings through a Groupon offer! I drove right up and Eddy was ready to hook up my car and get the smog check done! Eddy is super nice and efficient! I'll definitely return for my next smog check! Thank you Eddy! read more

Sadly I must update my review here. as my prior review from 2015 is all about ALEXIS, a great employee who hasn't worked for Smog Kings in about 6 years. Also I have not been able to have any of my cars smogged here since my last experience here in 2015, because Smog Kings DOES NOT TEST PRE-1999 CARS ANY MORE. Every time I've called in the past 6 years I'm told "We can't test your car because our pre-1999 machine JUST BROKE". C'mon Smog Kings, that line worked a few times but got old several years ago. So to the owner of Smog Kings I ask you 2 questions- 1.) Why does your Yelp page still say that Alexis is the Manager when he hasn't worked there in over 6 years? 2.) Why does your Yelp page say that you test "all years" of cars when you haven't tested pre-1999 cars in over 6 years? Could you please update your Yelp page as to show accurate information? Thank you much, Your FORMER very happy customer, read more

These guys are great, fast, family owned, and friendly. They have great pricing. Much better than most smog places

I was really hoping I could try this place out for my smog check. I think it was just a bad week when I tried going. The smog machine was broken! I attempted to come in on 3 separate days and no luck. They kept telling me to call back the next day. Two stars for the fact that they at least answered their phones everytime I called. Seemed like they genuinely wanted the machines fixed. read more

Came in for a smog test but was told my car wasn't ready. Came back several times but according to them my car was never ready. Never got the smog test, yet they redeemed my Groupon voucher. I took my car to another smog test station and carvpassed with no issues. read more

I got my first smog check notification and had no idea what to expect. After research I decided to drive out of my way to Smog Kings as these guys are a great value. I was so pleased to find good vibes along with quick service. This is the kind of business I like supporting and will tell all my peeps it's the place to go. read more

Fast, friendly, and efficient service. They sent my verification to DMV immediately and I was able to renew my registration on-line by the time I got home. Worth the drive to Inglewood. read more

Affordable, fast and friendly. Alberto was very kind and got me in and out in 20 ish minutes. It was raining when I went and he conveniently made it so that I didn't have to step foot out the car. Thanks Alberto! read more

Found this place on Groupon and got a great deal! Service was quick, easy. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Additionally, the technician who took care of me today was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend. read more

I brought my car for a smog test. I found this business with Groupon. The first time I went there were a few people already being helped. I was greeted quickly and told there would be a short wait time. I parked (there is plenty of parking) and since I had my dog with me, we took a short walk in the neighborhood although there is patio seating where I could have waited. All the paperwork was handled in order and the results sent electronically to the agency (I am new to the state and was unfamiliar with the process). I was so pleased with the service that I went back to Smog Kinds to test my daughter's car. She renewed her registration online and needed the test. (The results were sent to the agency and her tags delivered via mail a short time after.) The wait for her car was a bit longer, so I took advantage of the car wash service that is in the same location. (That service was also amazing.). Julian was so kind, professional, knowledgable, and the experience was so pleasant. I would definitely recommend Smog Kings and Julian's work for a smog test anytime, and I will certainly return again. read more

unfortunately this business is not operating in a professional way: 1) nobody answers the phone, tried multiple times on different days no luck. 2) Drove to the location to find out if is open and I was informed the machine is broken, to call the next day to find out if is working ( why bother, apparently according to another reviewer its been broken since 6/10/21) read more

I purchased 3 Groupons for smog service for my 3 cars and before I had a chance to use them, the company marked the Groupons as used. When I tried to call them to find out why they did that when I did not use the Groupons or have any services done, they don't answer the phone. And Groupon won't help me unless they get a written statement from the shop saying that they did not do service (and admitting that they are committing fraud and stealing from customers, which more than likely they won't want to admit to ). Aaaaannd now I have to deal with a credit card dispute. I highly recommend avoid dealing with this shop. read more

A quick, easy, wonderful experience with friendly staff! It also shares a building with a carwash station which is unique.

The guy who wears the Denver Broncos necklace was a complete doll in helping me do my smog check. The process was fast, easy, and smooth. He was extremely polite and even told me about a problem hat was pre-existing in my engine. Very affordable and I recommend this place to anyone who is in need of mechanical services! read more

EXCELLENT SERVICE! Best deal on Groupon. Pulled up and the service agent was in the process of finishing another customers' smog check. He immediately greeted me and told me he was almost complete. I waited all but 5 minutes when he approached me again, and asked for the Groupon code and dmv document. He noted there was an additional 10 bucks for certification once it passed, (still cheaper than any other deal I've seen). The process at that point was maybe another 10-15 minutes. After all was completed, he provided all the documents and I was on my way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Best STAR Smog service around. I found this place on Yelp and it great reviews. I called ahead about pricing and the guy quoted a super reasonable price. I got there and no line so I got in and out of there in 15 mins. Fastest Smog service i've ever had. Friendly customer service and I will be back! P.S. It's located inside the car wash. read more
