They could have easily sold me on replacing my timing chain, gears and all the parts that it takes to rebuild that area but instead I was advised that it would be best to have the transmission checked out first before spending $2500 to $3000 with them. My husbands truck wouldn't smog and they charged him hundreds for things most places don't charge for like different system flushing and fluid checks to trouble shoot. They returned his truck back and still couldn't get it to smog and had no idea what was wrong with it. I think he spent over a grand having it there for a week just to get it back no better then we left it. We took it to another place in town who informed us we had gotten ripped off and it didn't really look like they did anything, how embarrassing. Now we have to wait and try again when we have the extra money... until then he has a truck he can't drive, that won't smog, and is racking up fees while we wait to renew the registration.

The smog shop I took my car to give me a detailed inspection report, letting me know everything wrong and what needs to be done to fix it. I called and set up an appointment at Boradori to get it worked on Upon bringing my car there, they let me know that I wasn't scheduled for any work to be done on my car, but that I scheduled for an estimate. They quoted me $200 and let me know that they would need my car for the whole day, even though over the phone i let them know I needed it back by 4pm. Apparently there is no way to get work done on your car without them performing their own estimate, even though I had the codes printed out and the inspection report totally done. They essentially wanted $200 to read the paper that I brought in for them. They also turned me away from my early morning appointment, and scheduled me for sometime next week. Will not be donating $200 to the shop to read codes & wont be going back
