Robert was our estimator; he was so helpful and truly cared about us as homeowners. We felt he had our back throughout the whole process and would advocate for what we needed to move back into a safe and clean structure. He was overloaded due to the sheer volume of homes needing abatement at that time, but he always responded and did an incredible job. We had a few project teams (led by Luis and Carlos) that came out and all were fantastic - super meticulous, hardworking, professional, and polite. They also wore proper PPE and followed all safety protocols despite it being 90+ degrees out. The best part of all - our house passed clearance - we tested the floor and windowsill of every room and the outside even. After hearing many horror stories from others, we felt really grateful to Core for their hard work and dedication to making our home safe to live in again.

The team was courteous and did a great job! A lot of the work had to be completed while we were at work, but I felt totally comfortable with the crew in our house when we couldn't be there. They were respectful and cleaned up so it didn't totally feel like we were living on a construction site while the work was being done. The work was done in a timely manner, despite some surprise snags that were hit in the course of the job. I love our new floors and would definitely recommend this company for remodeling or renovation.

Our experience with Desert Dry Restoration (Fernando Ventura) was extremely disappointing. After…read morethe Palisades fire, we hired Fernando to help with debris removal and restoration work on our property. Unfortunately, he was unable to complete the job because he did not have the proper licensing required to perform the work. We waited over four months for him to obtain his contractor's license, but he failed the test and never became properly qualified. We ultimately had to hire another licensed, reputable contractor to finish the job correctly. To make matters worse, after our new contractor completed the cleanup and restoration, Fernando illegally dumped debris from his roll-off back onto our cleared lot. When I confronted him, he admitted doing it and promised to reimburse the cost we incurred to have it removed -- yet three months later, we are still waiting for payment. Adding insult to injury, Fernando is using a set of photos of our home on his Google profile as an example of his "work" in the Palisades. This is completely misleading -- he did not complete the project and did not have the proper HAZWOPER certification to handle or dispose of debris. We trusted Desert Dry Restoration during a very difficult time and were met with unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and additional expense. I strongly recommend verifying licenses and credentials before hiring and would not recommend this company based on our experience.

It was during a snowstorm, and a power outage, and I was desperate for assistance. After speaking with Robert, with Blue Van Restoration, he assured me that he would be at my home at 6 o'clock, and at 6 o'clock, he arrived! For the next three days, he helped clean up the water that continued to run through my home, and he continued to come back every day, until my house was dry, and everything could be put back together. In January 2023, the same thing happened, after extensive rains. Robert arrived at my house within 20 minutes, assisted me with getting the water under control, as much as possible, and came back the following day to make sure that everything was going well. He has continued to follow up with calls and texts, to make sure my house is now in the process of drying out. There is nobody kinder, more professional, more reliable, than Robert with Blue Van Restoration. I cannot recommend him enough. He is an amazing human being, a talented professional, and has twice now saved my house from water damage. I will forever be grateful to Robert. I am hopeful that this will never happen again, but if it does, I know exactly who I should call.
