It was time to have our septic tank pumped, so I made sure to do my due diligence. After reading…read morethrough reviews on Google and Yelp, I decided to contact Cisneros Brothers based on their consistently excellent feedback--and I'm very glad I did. I first called on 4/13 and spoke with Caroline, who was incredibly personable and transparent. She clearly explained the pricing structure: $475 if the digging to the tank cover didn't exceed three feet, and $50 for each additional foot beyond that. I really appreciated her honesty upfront--it's refreshing not to be surprised by extra charges after the work is done. She also let me know that a complimentary camera inspection would be included after the service, which added even more value. On the morning of 4/16, I called again because my wife likes to prepare meals and beverages for workers, and we wanted to know how many people to expect. I spoke with Yasmin, who was upbeat and friendly. She let me know that a crew of three would be arriving and that the service would take about two hours. She also updated me that the arrival window had narrowed from 8 AM-5 PM to 8 AM-noon, which was helpful for planning. The crew arrived later than planned (no big deal), led by manager Nate, supervisor Lance, and a trainee named Hector. It was clear right away that this team, assembled by their "big boss" Arelic, was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. I had several questions--probably six or seven--and each one was answered thoroughly in a way that was easy to understand. Nate even took the time to draw a diagram on his tablet to explain how the underground system works and what they would be doing. At one point, Nate had to leave for another job and confidently left Lance in charge. That alone spoke volumes about the trust and teamwork within the company. Lance did an excellent job leading the operation and ensuring everything ran smoothly. I also appreciated how he mentored Hector, making sure he followed all safety procedures and even offering him praise for his work. That kind of positive reinforcement says a lot about the company culture. Overall, I was 100% satisfied with my experience. From the first phone call to the completion of the job, everything was handled professionally and with care. I highly recommend Cisneros Brothers to anyone in need of septic services.

I would never work with Force Restoration (and owner Omar) again. His promise is that he works with…read moreinsurance companies so you don't have to, which was very alluring. That was partially my experience, but he never completed my project and the insurance company stopped paying because the project took far longer than what was budgeted. Omar was always angling to get more money from the insurance company and would ask me to push my adjuster for more funds. When I tried to understand how much different parts of the project cost, I never got a straight answer... he'd say "Whatever the insurance pays is what I get". When you push or challenge him, he becomes very defensive. The whole thing feels very strange. As for the work he did for me: the quality did not reflect his high price, specifically the painting. He charges top dollar for everything he does and then explains "it's because I'm a restoration contractor and have to pay for insurance". OK, fine, but when you ask him for a cost breakdown of the work he performs, he says he can't provide that. After working for 6 months on a project that should've only taken 2, I finally had to take matters into my own hands. I paid him for the work that was (supposedly) completed and worked with another company to complete the repairs. Only after the new company started did I discover that the work that was supposedly done was in fact NOT done. So, I had to pay the new company to finish the work that I already paid Force Restoration to do. Yes, exactly, I paid twice to get the work done right. Buyer beware -- you've been warned. Feel free to check his contractor's license on the CSLB website and you'll see that he has at least one active pending complaint. If you'd prefer not to, let me share what it says: "This license may be subject to discipline under Business & Professions Code 7097 and/or 7098". I hired ProServ Builders & Renovations for a home renovation project including an ADU, kitchen,…read morebathrooms, and electrical work. The project involved multiple contracts and payments, but the billing was never clearly reconciled. Beginning in November 2025, I repeatedly provided written summaries of contracts, payments, and balances and asked for confirmation or correction. I did not receive a clear written reconciliation explaining how totals were calculated or how payments were applied. We eventually met and discussed the project, and while we now understand each other's positions, we do not agree on the outcome. A key issue is the treatment of a prior $18,000 payment within revised kitchen/flooring contracts, which remains in dispute. There were also instances where similar scope appeared across multiple contracts without clear explanation of whether work was included, replaced, or added. In addition, some pricing--particularly electrical work--expanded significantly without clear upfront definition. The project has taken much longer than originally discussed. The ADU was expected to be completed in about 90 days, but more than a year later it is still not fully usable. My kitchen is also not usable. Cabinet doors have not been installed, and the space is filled with materials and items moved during construction, making it difficult to access or use normally. Because I need to use the ADU kitchen due to the condition of the main kitchen, I have been unable to rent out the ADU despite having a tenant ready. I am still trying to resolve the billing issues and get a clear plan to complete the remaining work.

My family recently had a very disappointing experience with kount on us carpet. The installation of…read moremy new carpet was far from professional. It was not stretched, leading to noticeable seams and uneven edges. The edges are ugly, frayed, cut short (showing gaps) and not tacked down. Allowing them to pop up. Despite multiple attempts to ask the installer to fix certain areas before he left, he said he fixed them and left anyways. (He didn't even attempt to fix). We followed up with the owner and he came back a few days later to fix some areas. His fix, was to staple the carpet to the tack boards which show a very ugly uneven carpet entrance. He then said it was good and left. Come to find out the installer also didn't stretch any carpets in the rooms and just stapled any loose areas. We could have gone with any other carpet installer in the high desert as they were all around the same price. We used KOUNT because he was very friendly in the beginning and assured us he would treat us professionally. Instead of going with a big chain store we opted to use the local family business. We feel scammed, and betrayed. The fact that they performed this kind of work knowing how bad it was and just left it like this leaves me baffled. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
