I then asked and thats for the thicker padding, with removal for the old carpet and old padding, he then reassured me "yes". I was so excited and now I had to decide which color I was going with. I then asked if I order it now, can he give me a few weeks to get ready. He said "sure no problem" I contacted him 2 weeks before I was ready, and set up a date for installation. It was a nightmare, 6 guys came, all related, foreman Jamie couldn't speak English, and just kept saying everything was going to be ok. They made a horrible mess tearing up the floors, not covering anything and not cleaning up after. There was never a clear explanation when selecting the floor as I went from hardwood floors to what they called luxury vinyl which was paper thin causing a huge gap from doors to flooring. They didn't explain I needed a thicker flooring so there wouldn't be gaps, they really didn't explain anything. I asked for painted baseboards and they installed unpainted baseboards with small cracks. Also my cabinets are dark expression brown and Jamie put white trim around them. They did the upstairs and I said take it out, it was mis matched starting down the stairway. I told them I didn't want them to continue, take the flooring and baseboards from upstairs. My house was a complete disaster, dust everywhere, it took 3 wks for me to clean it from top to bottom. put down 5,000 deposit, which I said I should only pay for the removal of the original flooring. The owner who never contacted me, was in Mexico said no as he was losing money, well so did I. They broke a ceiling fan, never replaced, there are cracks in my walls, the clean up alone. They probably saw a big job and got workers to do the job fast as they said they all had other jobs and my friend said none of them did her work. This is a very unprofessional company who clearly do not know how to explain the types of flooring needed in one's home. I went to Redlands Floor House, waited and got the most beautiful luxury vinyl installed that people complimented on saying it looked like wood flooring. Eric came to my house & explained options for my flooring. John & Bob covered everything and used rollers to move furniture around. And exceptionally clean, even outside where they cut the flooring. A hard lesson learned, sadly Paredes is not an ethical company, seems only out to make $. So if u do decide to use them, make sure u know ahead of time about flooring and what your needs are because they don't explain it.

So when that was what we were faced with, with had zero clue what we wanted. Perusing the big chain tile shops left us frustrated and overwhelmed. Other shops had limited selection in what we were looking for. And then we found Anaya Tile, whose Yelp reviews were impressive. We soon learned why. By the time we walked in to Anaya Tile, we were completely unsure of what we were doing. Adam greeted us and offered to help. He spent so much time with us going through options, helping us navigate all the types of tile, laying things out for us, and pulling tiles he thought we might like. We went around and around and he showed nothing but patience and helpfulness the whole time. Even after we selected a design, we ended up changing our minds again, spending another block of time with Adam. It was so nice to feel like we could take our time deciding with the help of someone trustworthy and enthusiastic. Through the time we spent at Anaya Tile, we came to know it as a family business, very community oriented and passionate about helping their customers. Our bathroom project took a very long time and there were a lot of bumps in the road. Adam and his family at Anaya Tile were not one of them. Now that the project is done, the tile is our favorite part. We would recommend Anaya Tile without reservation.
