I've used Country Bob's APS on everything from chicken to steak to hamburgers to fish. I've used it as a sauce, I've used as a marinade, I've even used it in a bloody mary; it goes with everything. Down here in the deep south we can buy the Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce at Wal-Mart and Kroger, but it is also available via their website along with other products they offer like rubs and other sauces. Since Christmas is coming up we figured we'd order a few gift packs for relatives since CB is having a 25% off sale online, can't wait for those to get here so I can make the giftees cook us up some grub. My partner went with the wimpy burger ( not a wimpy burger.. 1.2 lbs) and cajun fries. From the moment you walk in, you know you've found a true local spot. It's small, cozy and decorated with fun signs and memorabilia. The staff are amazing, friendly, welcoming, and just the kind of people you want to see when you're about to dive into comfort food. Even at 1:30 pm, that in between lunch/dinner time, the place was steadily busy. And now I know why. The onion rings? Fantastic. I'm an onion ring snob and these were fresh, crispy, and legit. no frozen batter here, and none of that "pull the whole onion out in one bite" nonsense ( I hate that).
