The food was great and the portions large for the price. We had the ham and cheese omelet (which came with hash browns and toast for 9.99, and the Aviston special-eggs, sausage and bacon, hash browns and a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy for 13.99). Very impressed. The service was fabulous as well. Would like to gatekeep this place, but will highly recommend to anyone!

Place was clean. Will definitely be going back!

I stumbled into this place randomly while stopping at a little grocery store down the street. The service was small town fabulous (big hearts from me!!!). This place belongs here, but would be a go to for me in any city I've ever visited. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was absolutely massive!!!! Easily the best one I've ever had in my life. Gaming, drinks and small town hospitality has won my heart over. I will absolutely return to try the other menu options, which rotates seasonally. Fantastic small town find!

Sure, it's a small place in the middle of nowhere. And you might not think much of it. But you will be wonderfully happy ordering just about anything here. 4 of us went here for lunch on a Sunday. It was packed. Inside it isn't much - plywood ceiling, odd collection of animal statues on one wall, a giant model of a ship in the middle. But the people and the food - salt of the earth. Every single one of us cleaned our plates entirely. We all got something different. I had the catfish which was amazing. So good. Taco salad looked top notch and the burger was divine. Waitress was super nice and it's just a place more people need to experience. This place is a true gem!!!

I usually settle in with one favorite item at restaurants we frequent. Here it's always a dilemma. Today the special was a ribeye steak with two sides. The steak was massive. It was smoked and had a great flavor. My wife got the fish. It is a Friday AYCE special but is available any day. Sundays they have AYCE fried chicken. You can also order a 4 piece meal for a lesser price and I've never been able to finish that. My "usual" is a 2 meat combo. I usually go for ribs and a sausage, but the pulled pork and brisket are both good. I didn't care for the turkey and have tried bbq chicken. For sides, I like the baked beans and fried potatoes the best. Had a baked potato today and it was cooked through. There is usually a soup special - the ham and beans is my favorite. Note that it is usually packed on Sundays at lunch. It is much better to go Friday or Saturday at lunch. I've never seen a line then, but then you won't be able to get the fried chicken! We eat here about twice a month and I highly recommend it. It's the best bbq in a wide area around here.
